Kinetic Monte Carlo simulation of thin film growth   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A three-dimensional kinetic Monte Carlo technique has been developed for simulating growth of thin Cu films. The model involves incident atom attachment, diffusion of the atoms on the growing surface, and detachment of the atoms from the growing surface. The related effect by surface atom diffusion was taken into account. A great improvement was made on calculation of the activation energy for atom diffusion based on a reasonable assumtion of interaction potential between atoms. The surface roughness and the relative density of the films were simulated as the functions of growth substrate temperature and film thickness. The results showed that there exists an optimum growth temperatureT opt at a given deposition rate. When the substrate temperature approaches toT opt, the growing surface becomes smoothing and the relative density of the films increases. The surface roughness minimizes and the relative density saturates atT opt. The surface roughness increases with an increment of substrate, temperature when the temperature is higher thanT opt.T opt is a function of the deposition rate and the influence of the deposition rate on the surface roughness depends on the substrate temperatures. The simulation results also showed that the relative density decreases with the increasing of the deposition rate and the average thickness of the film.  相似文献

The polymer fiber usually possess typical uniaxial orientation. The molecular chains are symmetrically distributed around fiber axis. In this work, the orientation of molecular groups in the cross section of polyamide-6 fiber has been measured by using IR ATR method. The results indicated that the polyamide-6 fiber mainly contains α-crystalline form. The direction of hydrogen bonds of amide groups is predominately parallel with the surface in the cross section of the fiber.  相似文献

A novel, soluble terephthalamide‐bridged ladderlike polysiloxane ( L ) was synthesized successfully for the first time by stepwise coupling polymerization. The process involved the hydrogen‐bonding self‐assembly of amido groups, which resulted in the formation of a more highly ordered polymeric structure. A novel monomer, bis(3‐methyldimethoxysilylpropyl) terephthalamide ( M ), was prepared by a hydrosilylation reaction in the presence of dicyclopentadienyl platinum dichloride as a catalyst. The structures of the monomer ( M ) and the polymer ( L ) were characterized by Fourier transform infrared, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 29Si NMR, mass spectrometry, X‐ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, and vapor pressure osmometry. All the characterization data indicated that the synthesized polymer ( L ) possessed an ordered ladderlike structure. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Infrared spectra at different temperatures have been studied for fractions ofa liquid crystal tormmg aromatic polyester. The molecular interactions in different phases and their changes duringthe transitions were discussed. Abrupt frequency shift was found for bands of groups both in mesogens and flexible spacers during fusion and isotropization transitions. It may imply that both the mesogens and the flexible spacers are included in the same crystalline phase and give their contributions to the formation of the mesophase. The splitting into doublet of the C—O stretching vibrations was observed for both the aromatic and aliphatic esters and was attributed to the existence of local regions for ester groups different in ordering. The more ordered regions do not disappear completely even in the isotropic liquid phase.  相似文献

Luminescence functionalization of the ordered mesoporous SBA-15 silica was realized by depositing a YVO4:Eu3+ phosphor layer on its surface via the Pechini sol-gel process, resulting in the formation of the YVO4:Eu3+@SBA-15 composite material. This material, which combines the mesoporous structure of SBA-15 and the strong red luminescence property of YVO4:Eu3+, can be used as a novel functional drug delivery system. The structure, morphology, porosity, and optical properties of the materials were well characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, N2 adsorption, and photoluminescence spectra. As expected, the pore volume, surface area, and pore size of SBA-15 decrease in sequence after deposition of the YVO4:Eu3+ layer and the adsorption of ibuprofen (IBU, drug). The IBU-loaded YVO4:Eu3+@SBA-15 system still shows the red emission of Eu3+ (617 nm, 5D0-7F2) under UV irradiation and the controlled drug release property. Additionally, the emission intensity of Eu3+ increases with an increase in the cumulative released amount of IBU in the system, making the extent of drug release easily identifiable, trackable, and monitorable by the change of luminescence. The system has great potential in the drug delivery and disease therapy fields.  相似文献

Evolution of hydrogenated amorphous carbon nitride films was investigated with an introduction of Ar gas in the deposition. The results showed that compressive stress of the films decreased versus an increase of Ar flow rate. Especially, at an Ar flow rate of 5 sccm the film exhibited lower compressive stress, higher hardness and lower root‐mean‐square (rms) roughness than the films deposited without Ar gas introduction. Structural analysis showed that the films with higher hardness, low compressive stress and lower rms roughness had relatively high sp2 and nitrogen content. It was attributed to the assistance of Ar plasma, which can cause N atom to enter graphite ring easily and form curved graphite microstructure. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Herein, six kinds of PdNPs (including icosahedron, sphere, spindle, cube, rod, and wire) were synthesized via simple methods. The catalytic activities were investigated by the reduction reaction of Cr(VI) and Suzuki coupling reaction. Chemically synthesized morphologies of the six catalysis were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction, etc. Pd icosahedron shows a better catalytic property than other PdNPs with a rate constants 0.42 min?1 for the reduction of Cr(VI). Moreover, the electrocatalyst shows that Pd icosahedron possesses a bigger surface area of 8.56 m2/g than other nanoparticles, which is attributed to the better catalyst. The Pd icosahedron possesses a better catalytic property, attributing to the abundant exposed {111} facets with high activity on Pd icosahedron. The catalytic activities are closely related to the surface area with the following order: icosahedrons ≥ sphere > rod > spindle > cube > wire. The Pd icosahedron catalyst represents a strong activity for Suzuki coupling reaction as well, outweighting is 80%. The results reveal that Pd icosahedron acts as an efficient catalyst compared to other PdNPs (wire, rod, sphere, spindle, and cube).  相似文献
