A rapid and inexpensive method for simultaneous quantification of terbumeton (TER), and its major potential metabolites (TED; terbumeton-desethyl, TOH; terbumeton-2-hydroxy and TID; terbumeton-deisopropyl) in soil bulk water (SBW) samples is proposed. The analytical method involves extraction–concentration from SBW samples using a graphitized carbon black (GCB) cartridge followed by their separation–detection by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography analysis using a C18 column and a diode array detector. A mobile phase of acetonitrile−0.005 mol L−1 phosphate buffer (pH 7.0) (35:65, v/v) at a flow rate of 0.8 mL min−1 in isocratic elution mode has been used. After optimization of the extraction and separation conditions, this method can be used for the simultaneous determination of investigated compounds in the range of the international limits of 0.1 μg L−1. For TER the detection limit was 0.009 μg L−1 and it was 0.100, 0.550, and 0.480 μg L−1 for TED, TOH, and TID, respectively. The recoveries of TER, TED, TOH, and TID from SBW samples, measured at three levels of concentration range, were found to be between 48.0 and 102.0%. The intra-day precision measured by relative standard deviation (RSD) was always lower than 9.0%.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and characterization of the uranium(III) triamide complex [UIII(N**)3] [ 1 , N**=N(SiMe2tBu)2?]. Surprisingly, complex 1 exhibits a trigonal planar geometry in the solid state, which is unprecedented for three‐coordinate actinide complexes that have exclusively adopted trigonal pyramidal geometries to date. The characterization data for [UIII(N**)3] were compared with the prototypical trigonal pyramidal uranium(III) triamide complex [UIII(N“)3] (N”=N(SiMe3)2?), and taken together with theoretical calculations it was concluded that pyramidalization results in net stabilization for [UIII(N“)3], but this can be overcome with very sterically demanding ligands, such as N**. The planarity of 1 leads to favorable magnetic dynamics, which may be considered in the future design of UIII single‐molecule magnets.  相似文献

Most ternary sulfides belonging to the MGaS2 structure‐type have been known for many years and are well‐characterized. Surprisingly, there have been no reports of the NaGaS2 composition, which contains Na, a monovalent cation slightly larger in size than Li, found in LiGaS2, a compound known for its non‐linear optical properties. Now it is demonstrated for the first time that the unique reversible water absorption in NaGaS2 has resulted in its absence from previous reports owing to difficulties encountered when characterizing this compound by SC XRD. The layered structure of this compound coupled with uniquely easy migration of water molecules between the layers allows for ion exchange with 3d and 5f metal cations. Some cations, for example, Ni2+, facilitate exfoliation of the layers, providing a facile synthetic route to a new class of 2D chalcogenide materials and furthermore demonstrating that NaGaS2 can readily uptake uranyl species from aqueous solutions.  相似文献

This paper describes a method for speciation of Hg associated with airborne particulate matter. This method uses a mini-sampler for sample collection and analysis, thermal desorption for separating Hg species, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP–MS) for identification and quantification of Hg. Coal fly ash spiked with different Hg compounds (e.g. Hg0, HgCl2, HgO, and HgS) was used for qualitative calibration. A standard reference material with a certified value for Hg concentration was used to evaluate the method. When the temperature of the furnace was programmed at a linear rate of increase of 50° min–1, different Hg compounds could clearly be separated. Three airborne particulate matter samples were collected in parallel in Toronto, ON, Canada and analyzed using this method. Reproducible results were obtained and Hg0, HgCl2, HgO, and HgS species from these samples were detected.  相似文献

It is proposed that continuous time is in effect discretized in the brain by dynamic pattern recognition mechanisms in neurons. Time discretization is required to support formal computations in continuous time systems consisting of a large number of components. The ability to perform formal computations is necessary if the system is to execute high level algorithms of the type used in present day artificial intelligence. The weakness of such algorithms is that they work efficiently only when the forms of patterns and objects presented to them are highly constrained. The dynamic mechanisms which discretize the brain's time line also serve to code patterns into constrained forms suitable for high level processing.  相似文献

We study two slightly different versions of truncated generalized matricial moment problems of Stieltjes type. A central topic is the construction and investigation of distinguished solutions of both moment problems under consideration. These solutions turn out to be nonnegative Hermitian Borel measures on the real axis which are concentrated on a finite number of points. Our approach is mainly algebraic. It is based on the use of particular matrix polynomials constructed from a nonnegative Hermitian block Hankel matrix.  相似文献

We prove that the intersection of all maximal special-valued subgroups of a lattice-ordered group is the special-valued quasi-torsion radical of a lattice-ordered group , which extends our earlier result that the intersection of all maximal finite-valued subgroups of a lattice-ordered group is the finite-valued torsion radical of . We also show that the class of almost finite-valued lattice-ordered groups is a quasi-torsion class, and the quasi-torsion radical of a group is equal to the intersection of the group with the lateral completion of the finite-valued torsion radical of the group.
