Total phenolic choline ester fractions prepared from seeds of Arabidopsis thaliana and Brassica napus were analyzed by capillary LC/ESI‐QTOF‐MS and direct infusion ESI‐FTICR‐MS. In addition to the dominating sinapoylcholine, 30 phenolic choline esters could be identified based on accurate mass measurements, interpretation of collision‐induced dissociation (CID) mass spectra, and synthesis of selected representatives. The compounds identified so far include substituted hydroxycinnamoyl‐ and hydroxybenzoylcholines, respective monohexosides as well as oxidative coupling products of phenolic choline esters and monolignols. Phenolic choline esters are well separable by reversed‐phase liquid chromatography and sensitively detectable using electrospray ionization mass spectrometry in positive ion mode. CID mass spectra obtained from molecular ions facilitate the characterization of both the type and substitution pattern of such compounds. Therefore, LC/ESI‐MS/MS represents a valuable tool for comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis of this compound class. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Sm(II)-modified periodic mesoporous silica (PMS), Sm[N(SiHMe2)2]2(THF)x@MCM-41, was used for the synthesis of Sm(II) alkyl, alkoxide, and indenyl surface species via secondary ligand exchange. The performance of the novel Sm(II)-based organometallic–inorganic hybrid materials as initiators for the graft polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) is reported. All of the Sm(II) hybrid materials including the new PMMA–PMS composites were characterized via N2 physisorption, elemental analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The organic–inorganic composites revealed complete pore blockage as well as enrichment and strong adhesion of the polymer at the exterior of the porous silica material. 相似文献

Synthesis and characterisation of the SrxBa1−xFeO3−y-system and the fluorinated phases SrxBa1−xFeO2F

Compounds in the system SrxBa1?xFeO3?y have been prepared under different partial pressures of oxygen. In this system, different perovskite-type structures are found depending highly on the values of x and y. Fluorination using polyvinylidenedifluoride (PVDF) gives oxyfluoride materials of composition SrxBa1?xFeO2F, which normally crystallize in the cubic perovskite structure. Rietveld refinement results provide information about the packing density for oxide and oxyfluoride samples and allow a general comparison between these two different types of materials. Furthermore, the determination of the average iron oxidation state also showed that the oxygen deficiency, y, depends significantly on the value of x and the structure determined by the Sr/Ba ratio. 相似文献

Summary : Via geometrical micro- and nanostructures new functionalities like controlled wetting properties, biological adhesive / dehesive properties or surface patterns for guided self assembly can be added to polymer surfaces. This is especially interesting for medical or biotechnological applications, because there is no new approval process necessary. The whole process from producing the structures via EUV-interference lithography to the injection moulding will be shown. How far the limits for the smallness of these structures on polymers are already pushed forward show the results from our latest injection moulded samples. Supramolecular photoinduced electron transfer dynamics between coumarin 153 (C153) and 4,4'-dimethyl viologen dichloride (MV(2+)) across the molecular barrier of a host molecule, octa acid (OA), has been investigated with femtosecond time resolution. The ultrafast electron transfer from C153 to MV(2+) followed excitation with 150 fs laser pulses at a wavelength of 390 nm despite the fact that C153 was incarcerated within an OA(2) capsule. As a result, the photoexcited coumarin did not show any of the typical relaxation dynamics that is usually observed in free solution. Instead, the excited electron was transferred across the molecular wall of the capsuleplex within 20 ps. Likewise, the lifetime of the charge transfer state was short (724 ps), and electron back-transfer reestablished the ground state of the system within 1 ns, showing strong electronic coupling among the excited electron donor, host, and acceptor. When the donor was encapsulated into the host molecule, the electron transfer process showed significantly accelerated dynamics and essentially no solvent relaxation compared with that in free solution. The photoluminescence (PL) of CdSe quantum dots (QD) in aqueous media has been studied in the presence of gold nanoparticles (NP) with different shapes. The steady state PL intensity of CdSe QD (1.5-2 nm in size) is quenched in the presence of gold NP. Picosecond bleach recovery and nanosecond time-resolved luminescence measurements show a faster bleach recovery and decrease in the lifetime of the emitting states of CdSe QD in the presence of quenchers. Surfactant-capped gold nanorods (NR) with aspect ratio of 3 and surfactant-capped and citrate-capped nanospheres (NS) of 12 nm diameter were used as quenchers in order to study the effect of shape and surface charge on the quenching rates. The Stern-Volmer kinetics model is used to examine the observed quenching behavior as a function of the quencher concentration. It was found that the quenching rate of NR is more than 1000 times stronger than that of NS with the same capping material. We also found that the quenching rate decreases as the length of the NR decreases, although the overlap between the CdSe emission and the NR absorption increases. This suggests that the quenching is a result of electron transfer rather than long-range (Forster-type) energy transfer processes. The quenching was attributed to the transfer of electron with energies below the Fermi level of gold to the trap holes of CdSe QD. The observed large difference between NR and NS quenching efficiencies was attributed to the presence of the [110] facets only in the NR, which have higher surface energy. 相似文献
