Interaction in Crystals: The Keyboard of Na⊕ Coordination Numbers in Its Carbazole Anion Salts Some local minima in the shallow potential of the system carbazole anion, sodium cation, and the ethers tetrahydrofuran, 1,2-dimethoxyethane, diglyme, triglyme, tetraglyme, 15-crown-5 as well as 2.2.1-cryptand are explored experimentally and by quantum-chemical calculations. Three prototype contact-ion multiples of Na⊕-solvated carbazole anion M? salts have been crystallized and structurally characterized: polyether-solvated monomers [M?Na⊕solv]1, solvent-shared dimers [M?Na⊕solv]2, and solvent-separated polyions [(M?)nNa?solv](n?1)? [Na⊕solv](n?1). The Na⊕ coordination numbers stretch from 3 to 7 as illustrated by the compounds [(M?)3Na+]??[Na+(2.2.1-crytand)]2 for 3 and 7, [(M?)2Na+(THF)2]? [Na⊕(2.2.1-cryptand)] for 4 and 7, [M? Na+(diglyme)]2 for 5, or [M? Na+(l 5-crown-5)] for 6. Structural comparison is based on literature analogies as well as on results of MNDO calculations concerning charge distribution and enthalpies of formation. Taken together, the results demonstrate the delicate energy balance, by which cation solvation can influence the formation of organic salts.  相似文献

To investigate the functional role of KAI1/CD82, a metastasis suppressor for human prostate cancer, in the regulation of homotypic cell adhesion, we transfected KAI1 cDNA into DU 145 human prostate cancer cells and established stable transfectant clones with high KAI1/CD82 expression. The KAI1 transfectant cells exhibited significantly increased homotypic cell aggregation in comparison with the control transfectant cells. This aggregation of the KAI1 transfectants was further enhanced upon exposure to anti-CD82 antibody, suggesting that KAI1/CD82 may be involved in the intracellular signaling for the cell adhesion. Among several signal pathway inhibitors tested, PP1, an inhibitor of Src family kinases, significantly suppressed homotypic aggregation of the KAI1 transfectant cells. Ligation of KAI1/CD82 with anti-CD82 antibody increased endogenous Src kinase activity of the KAI1 transfectant cells. When different types of src expression constructs were retransfected into the KAI1-transfected DU 145 cells, kinase-negative mutant src transfectant cells exhibited much lower homotypic aggregation than the mock cells transfected with an empty vector. Moreover, homotypic aggregation of the mutant src transfectant cells was not enhanced by KAI1/CD82 ligation with anti- CD82 antibody. These results suggest that Src mediates the intracellular signaling pathway of KAI1/CD82 for the induction of homotypic adhesion of human prostate cancer cells.  相似文献

Wetting film extraction was combined with colorimetry to determine nanogram amounts of molybdenum(VI). The simple extraction procedure enhanced sensitivity and selectivity while maintaining a high sample throughput. Extraction and back extraction steps were exploited to exclude interference from the 31 metal species and 11 anions tested. In the first step, molybdenum(VI) was extracted into a toluene film as an ion paired complex. Molybdenum(VI) reacted with thiocyanate to form anionic molybdenum(V) and/or molybdenum(VI) thiocyanate complexes. The complexes were extracted into a toluene film containing tetraheptylammonium bromide as ion pairing reagent. The thiocyanate ligands were displaced by 1,5-diphenylcarbazone (DPC) to form a more intensely colored complex (λmax= 540 nm). DPC was introduced in the back extraction solvent, methanol. The relative standard deviation was 2.5% for 50 ng ml−1of molybdenum(VI) (n= 10) at a rate of 25 samples h−1. The detection limit (3 × baseline noise) was 2.5 × 10−8M.  相似文献

On Ternary Chalcogenides. XXIV. The Structure of TlGaSe2 TlGaSe2 is monoclinic with a = 10.772(3), b = 10.771(5), c = 15.636(8) Å, ß = 100.6(3)°, Z = 16, space group Cc. The refinement yielded an R value of 0.082 for 1366 unique observed reflections (MoKα). The compound crystallizes with a layer structure with two anion layers perpendicular to c* in the unit cell. The structural motive of the layers are large corner-linked Ga4Se10- tetraeder consisting of four corner-linked GaSe4 tetrahedra. Two adjacent layers are turned relative to each other by 90°. They are kept together by Tl1+ ions, which are situated on straight lines parallel to the edges of the Ga4Se10 groups. They are surrounded by six selenium atoms forming trigonal-prismatic TlSe6 polyhedra. 42 screw-axes within the layers are the reason for a strongly pronounced pseudo tetragonal symmetry. Different possibilities of stacking cause a onedimensional disorder along the c* direction. The relations between the TlGaSe2 type and the TlSe type and also the high-pressure modifications of some compounds with the TlGaSe2 structure are discussed.  相似文献

Contributions to the Chemistry of Phosphorus. 111. 1,2-Dichloro-1,2-di-tert-butyl-diphosphane The reaction of tri-tert-butyl-cyclotriphosphane, (t-BuP)3, with phosphorus(V) chloride (molar ratio 1:2) leads to the title compound Cl(t-Bu)P? P(t-Bu)Cl ( 1 ), which is remarkably stable against disproportionation reactions. As the first 1,2-dichloro-1,2-diorganyldiphosphane, 1 has been isolated in a pure state and was thoroughly characterized. At room temperature, 1 exists in a mixture of the d,l and meso form (about 20:80). The mutual repulsion of the negative polarized Cl atoms and their preferred gauche arrangement to the free electron pairs of neighboured P atoms leads to a gauche-conformation of the lone electron pairs in the d,l- and to a trans-conformation in the meso-configuration.  相似文献

 Extracts containing the diarrhetic shellfish poisoning (DSP) toxins okadaic acid (OA), dinophysistoxin-2 (DTX2), and dinophysistoxin-1 (DTX1) were purified on a silica gel cartridge and derivatized with 4-bromomethyl-7 methoxycoumarin (BrMmc). After pre-column derivatization the BrMmc derivatives of the DSP toxins were directly injected into an HPLC system, isocratically eluted, and quantified by fluorescence detection. The signals of the esters showed good linearity in the fluorescence detector within the examined contamination range of 0.03 mg DSP/kg to 2.5 mg DSP/kg. The detection limits for the DSP toxins as 7-Mmc esters were 0.04 ng (corresponding to 0.05 mg DSP/kg). The chromatographic conditions allow to couple the HPLC device with mass spectrometry. Cross-linked block copolymers are used as adhesives in fiber-reinforced composite material manufactures for automotive applications. Good adhesion between the polymer matrix and fibers in the interphase region is required for the structural integrity of these materials. Experimental evidence indicates that superior adhesion is obtained when phase segregation occurs between the two matrix phase block copolymers. It is therefore desirable to predict the conditions under which phase segregation is expected to occur. Configurational bias Monte Carlo simulations of two-component, trifunctional block copolymer networks were carried out to investigate phase segregation in these materials. The effects of four principal parameters on phase segregation were examined: the weight fractions of the two components, the cross-link length, the connectivity of the network, and the ratio of the square-well interactions. The molecular simulation results confirmed trends observed in laboratory measurements.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] A sequential solid-phase peptide synthesis was developed using both photolabile linker and protecting groups. The chromatic sequential lability between a tert-butyl ketone-derived linker (sensitive to irradiation at 305 nm) and a nitroveratryloxycarbonyl (NVOC) group (sensitive at 360 nm) was exploited to prepare Leu-Enkephalin in a 55% overall yield. This new strategy allows the preparation of peptides in essentially neutral medium, by avoiding the use of common deprotection reagents such as trifluoroacetic acid or piperidine.  相似文献

This review discusses the development of capillary electrochromatography (CEC) coupled to mass spectrometric (MS) detection over the last few years. Major topics addressed are instrumental setups employed and applications of this technology published in the recent literature. The instrumental section includes a discussion of the most commonly used interfaces for the hyphenation of CEC and MS as well as ionization techniques.
