ZnO nanoplates with Er-doping concentrations varying in the range from 3 to 7 wt% and co-doped with (Er–Yb) (7 + 7 wt%) were successfully prepared by wet chemical precipitation method. The effects of doping on the structural and optical properties of ZnO nanostructures have been systematically investigated. The structural morphology of the prepared nanostructures was found to change with increasing Er-doping concentrations. The visible photoluminescence and infrared photoluminescence of the prepared nanostructures were measured at room temperature. The intensity of visible emission spectra was found to increase with increasing Er-doping concentrations and was further enhanced for (Er–Yb) co-doped ZnO nanoplate samples. Additionally, Er-doped (7 wt%) and Yb-doped (7 wt%) ZnO nanoplates showed an enhanced emission peak at 950 nm, whereas two enhanced emission peaks at 950 and 980 nm have been found for (Er–Yb)-co-doped (7 + 7 wt%) ZnO nanoplates samples when excited at 310, 365 and 371 nm excitation wavelengths.  相似文献

For one-dimensional kinetic BGK models, regarded as relaxation models for scalar conservation laws with genuinely nonlinear fluxes, we prove that the macroscopic density converges to the rarefaction wave solution of the corresponding scalar conservation law in the long time limit, and that the phase space density approaches an equilibrium distribution with the rarefaction wave as macroscopic density. The proof requires a smallness assumption on the amplitude of the rarefaction waves and uses a micro-macro decomposition of the perturbation equation.  相似文献

Fibrinogen is a blood plasma protein that plays a crucial role in hemostasis. It is known that erythrocyte aggregation increases in the presence of fibrinogen, and that β-estradiol decreases erythrocyte aggregation with a constant fibrinogen concentration. In this work, we have used intrinsic tryptophan fluorescence to obtain information on the conformational changes of fibrinogen upon the recently proposed interaction with β-estradiol. To evaluate the effect on the conformational changes during fibrinogen-β-estradiol binding, fluorescence experiments were performed using guanidine hydrochloride (0–6 M) as denaturant, at different pH values. The results obtained for pH 6.5 and 8.0 showed no effect during the binding. The main differences were observed between pH 4.2 and 7.4, in the absence and in the presence of two different denaturant concentrations (1 and 5 M). A red shift of the fluorescence emission from 344 to 354 nm is observed when denaturant concentration is above 3 M for all studied pH values. This phenomenon may be explained by the loss of compact structure of the protein in the presence of denaturant, with tryptophan residues exposure to the aqueous environment and alteration of fibrinogen-β-estradiol binding. These results demonstrate that the binding sites of fibrinogen are strongly dependent on the conformational state of the protein.  相似文献

We show that, in the framework of three light neutrino species with hierarchical masses and assuming no fine tuning between the entries of the neutrino mass matrix, one can use the solar neutrino data to obtain information on the element U(e3) of the lepton mixing matrix. Conversely, a measurement of U(e3) in atmospheric or long baseline accelerator or reactor neutrino experiments would help discriminate between possible oscillation solutions of the solar neutrino problem.  相似文献

In this work we study the singularities at infinity of algebraic vector fields in dimension 2.These singularities will be classified under a mild assumption. The general problem is also reduced to the study of the combinatorics of certain resolutions which will be developed in Part II. Our main results are local and therefore can be carried over more general surfaces. Hunger and malnutrition are persistent problems in many developing countries. Policies required to overcome these problems are difficult to identify, whereas the experience in planning policies in their broadest sense for this purpose is limited. In this paper, economy-wide models constructed for this purpose by the Centre for World Food Studies are described, with special emphasis on a model for Bangladesh. Its application is demonstrated in assessing alternative policies for two specific cases, i.e. the subsidization of synthetic fertilizers and food rationing. Other applications are briefly described. Construction of the models has involved the development of software to facilitate the execution and organization of the work and also problem-specific algorithms. Direct measurements of the pH of six new operational standard solutions for the British Standard pH scale are reported from measurements with hydrogen gas electrodes in cells with liquid junctions reproducibly formed in vertical capillary tubes (1 mm internal diameter). Comparison with assigned pH values from cells without liquid junction enables values of the conventional residual liquid-junction potential to be calculated.  相似文献

Lower critical solution temperatures (LCST)-type of phase diagrams, including the presence of closed loops, have been encountered for the first time in binary and quasi-binary liquid solutions of ionic liquids. Furthermore, the results constitute the first experimental support for the existence of a theoretically postulated, but never encountered, special kind of type VII phase diagram. Two distinct mechanisms are involved in the appearance of demixing upon temperature increase. These findings underlie the presence of specific, oriented interactions between the ionic liquid, 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium bis{(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl}amide, [Cnmim][NTf2], and trichloromethane, as well as aggregation phenomena.  相似文献

The electrochemical oxidation of 8-oxoguanine (8-oxoG) in the presence of uric acid (UA) was studied by differential pulse voltammetry over a wide pH range (1-12). The results showed that both compounds follow a pH-dependent oxidation mechanism that involves two electrons and two protons corresponding to reversible charge transfer reactions. The difference between the peak potential for the oxidation of each analyte was found to be always less than 100 mV over the whole pH range, the separation being greater in the pH interval 4-7. In mixtures of both analytes, pH 6 was shown to be the best for 8-oxoG determination in the presence of uric acid, since the peak current is higher and a greater peak separation is achieved.  相似文献
