Soil samples from Paraná State, Brazil, were collected in 1991 and compared with others collected at the same location in March 1977 and at the end of 1983. Pedological analyses were practiced on these samples and137Cs and232Th,226Ra and40K activities were determined by gammaray spectrometry. A latitude dependence of137Cs was found as well. It was impossible to determine the137Cs contribution from Chernobyl nuclear accident because of low fallout and intense leaching, erosion and re-suspension in soils of regions with high annual precipitation. Natural radionuclides did not show such effects.  相似文献

Production of xylanolytic enzymes by anAspergillus niger CCMI 850 isolate was investigated in batch cultures. The effect of the composition of a fermentation medium that did not include chemical inducers, on β-xylanase, β-xylosidase, α-l-arabinofuranosidase, and total cellulase activity was studied. With 4% xylan as the carbon source, about 65 U/mL of β-xylanase was obtained, whereas the total cellulase activity was undetectable, under the specified conditions. This β-xylanase activity represents the highest reported for a wild-type strain ofA. niger. The effect of pH and temperature on the activity of β-xylanase was studied. Partial characterization of the β-xylanase showed that with insoluble birchwood as substrate theK m andV max were 0.3 mM and 19 μmol/min, respectively. Aspects of using the crude β-xylanase preparation for applications in the pulp and paper industry were discussed.  相似文献

A major challenge in metabolomic studies is how to extract and analyze an entire metabolome. So far, no single method was able to clearly complete this task in an efficient and reproducible way. In this work we proposed a sequential strategy for the extraction and chromatographic separation of metabolites from leaves Jatropha gossypifolia using a design of experiments and partial least square model. The effect of 14 different solvents on extraction process was evaluated and an optimized separation condition on liquid chromatography was estimated considering mobile phase composition and analysis time. The initial conditions of extraction using methanol and separation in 30 min between 5 and 100% water/methanol (1:1 v/v) with 0.1% of acetic acid, 20 μL sample volume, 3.0 mL min?1 flow rate and 25°C column temperature led to 107 chromatographic peaks. After the optimization strategy using i‐propanol/chloroform (1:1 v/v) for extraction, linear gradient elution of 60 min between 5 and 100% water/(acetonitrile/methanol 68:32 v/v with 0.1% of acetic acid), 30 μL sample volume, 2.0 mL min?1 flow rate, and 30°C column temperature, we detected 140 chromatographic peaks, 30.84% more peaks compared to initial method. This is a reliable strategy using a limited number of experiments for metabolomics protocols.  相似文献

Fourteen thalidomide analogs bearing two phthalimido units were prepared in high yields (83-94%) by condensation of different diamines with phthalic or 3-nitrophthalic anhydride. An in vitro investigation of the compounds as inhibitors of the TNF-alpha production was performed. The inhibition was higher for compounds bearing amino and nitro groups and was modulated by increasing the size of the spacers between the phthalimide groups.  相似文献

Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetry (TG) were used in order to evaluate the thermal stability of an enalapril maleate formulation packaged in two types of packaging, polyvinyl chloride/aluminum blister and aluminum strip. Enalapril and the excipients employed in the formulation were also evaluated by TG and DSC. Tablets were analyzed before and after storage in an acclimatized room at 40 °C and relative humidity of 75 % for 90 days. The DSC and TG results were compared with the results of dosage of enalapril and related compounds obtained by high-performance liquid chromatography. These results indicate an occurrence of chemical interaction between enalapril maleate and the excipients during its storage. After storage, it was observed that the enalapril content reduced and the predominant degradation product was diketopiperazine for both types of packaging. The predominance of diketopiperazine could be related to the absence of sodium bicarbonate in the tablets, alkalinizing agent employed in the thermal stabilization of the drug.  相似文献

The manufacture of three‐dimensional patterned electroactive poly(vinylidene fluoride‐co‐chlorotrifluoroethylene) microstructures with tailored architecture, morphology, and wettability is presented. The patterned microstructures are fabricated using a simple, effective, low cost, and reproducible technique based on microfluidic technology. The effect of temperature on the performance of an anaerobic sequencing biofilm batch reactor (ASBBR) with liquid-phase recirculation was assessed. Assays were performed using a recirculation velocity of 0.20 cm/s, 8-h cycles, and an average treated synthetic wastewater volume of 2 L/cycle with a concentration of 500 mg of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)/L. Operation temperatures were 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35°C. At 25, 30, and 35°C, organic matter removal efficiencies for filtered samples ranged from 81 to 83%. At lower temperatures, namely 15 and 20°C, removal efficiency decreased significantly to 61 and 65%, respectively. A first-order model could be fitted to the experimental concentration profile values. The first-order kinetic parameter value of this model varied from 0.46 to 0.81 h1 considering the lowest and highest temperature studied. Moreover, analysis of the removal profile values allowed fitting of an Arrhenius-type equation with an activation energy of 5715 cal/mol.  相似文献
