Online mathematics teacher education is characterized as an emergent area of research in mathematics education. We identify some key topics that require further research: communities and networks of teachers in online environments; sustainability of these communities and kinds of organizational structures; knowledge-building practices in technology-mediated work group interactions; and online interactions among teachers. The emergence of new research issues also gives rise to new theoretical approaches or the adaptation of existing theoretical perspectives that are presented in this special issue. We summarize some of these theoretical perspectives and attempt to show how online environments have changed them, as well as some theoretical problems that remain to be solved.  相似文献

In this work, methodologies to determine manganese (Mn) in urine and whole blood by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry were developed. The use of Ru, Rh, and Zr as permanent modifiers, Pd as a modifier in solution, and the condition without modifier were investigated for the direct determination of Mn in urine and whole blood samples. The best results for Mn in urine and in whole blood were obtained without modifier use. The analytical characteristic, such as accuracy, precision and limit of detection of the proposed methodology were adequate.  相似文献

This paper begins by situating online mathematics education in Brazil within the context of research on digital technology over the past 25?years. I argue that Brazilian research on technology in mathematics education can be divided into four phases, and then present an example that ??blends?? aspects of the second and third phases. Phase two can be characterized by research with software designed to address traditional mathematics topics, such as functions, while the third phase is characterized by online courses. The data presented show creative solutions for a problem designed for collectives of humans-with-function-software. The paper is analyzed from a perspective that emphasizes the role of different technologies as teachers and professors collaborate to produce knowledge about the use of mathematical software in regular face-to-face classrooms. A model of online education is presented. Finally, the paper discusses how technology may change collaboration and teaching approaches in continuing education, as it allows for greater integration of online learning with teachers?? classroom activities in schools. In this case, the online platform plays an active role in the learning collective composed of humans-with-media.  相似文献

The most severe interferences in atomic absorption spectrometry are caused by the presence of anions when they are in different concentrations in the samples and in the calibration solutions. The analyte addition technique or matrix matching calibration can be employed to minimize or compensate the non-spectral interferences, but they are time consuming or difficult to be carried out. The use of chemical modifiers usually allows higher pyrolysis temperatures and consequently the removal of components of the sample matrix, equalizing the analyte signal in the sample and in the calibration solution. In this work, a mixture of Ir and Rh is proposed as permanent modifier to determine As, Cd and Pb in diluted hydrochloric, sulfuric and phosphoric acids and in ethanol and methanol by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ET AAS) with calibration against 1% v/v nitric acid aqueous solutions. The performance of the proposed permanent modifier was compared to that of Pd plus Mg nitrates in solution. Better recoveries, low background levels and faster analysis were obtained with the permanent modifier. The permanent modifier was also successfully employed for the determination of As, Cd and Pb in different concentrations of sulfuric and hydrochloric acids. For the phosphoric acid, the proposed modifier was only efficient for acid concentrations up to 2% v/v for As and up to 5% v/v for Cd and Pb. The precision, expressed as the relative standard deviation (n=3), was lower than 10%, for all samples, including ethanol and methanol.  相似文献

In this study Ru, deposited thermally on an integrated platform pyrolytic graphite tube, is proposed as a permanent modifier for the determination of Cu and Cr in urine samples by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. The samples were diluted 1:1 with nitric acid (1% v/v). Pyrolysis and atomization temperatures for spiked urine samples were 1,100 degrees C and 1,900 degrees C respectively for Cu, and 1,400 degrees C and 2,500 degrees C respectively for Cr. For comparison purposes, the conventional modification with Pd+Mg was also studied. The sensitivity for Ru as permanent modifier was higher for the two analytes. The characteristic masses were 7.3 and 17.7 for Cr and Cu. The detection limits (3sigma) were 0.22 and 0.32 microg/L, for Cr and Cu, respectively. Good agreement was obtained with certified urine samples for the two elements.  相似文献

Microchip electrophoresis has become a powerful tool for DNA separation, offering all of the advantages typically associated with miniaturized techniques: high speed, high resolution, ease of automation, and great versatility for both routine and research applications. Various substrate materials have been used to produce microchips for DNA separations, including conventional (glass, silicon, and quartz) and alternative (polymers) platforms. In this study, we perform DNA separation in a simple and low-cost polyester-toner (PeT)-based electrophoresis microchip. PeT devices were fabricated by a direct-printing process using a 600 dpi-resolution laser printer. DNA separations were performed on PeT chip with channels filled with polymer solutions (0.5% m/v hydroxyethylcellulose or hydroxypropylcellulose) at electric fields ranging from 100 to 300 V cm(-1). Separation of DNA fragments between 100 and 1000 bp, with good correlation of the size of DNA fragments and mobility, was achieved in this system. Although the mobility increased with increasing electric field, separations showed the same profile regardless of the electric field. The system provided good separation efficiency (215,000 plates per m for the 500 bp fragment) and the separation was completed in 4 min for 1000 bp fragment ladder. The cost of a given chip is approximately $0.15 and it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare a single device.  相似文献
