A renewal jump-diffusion process with threshold dividend strategy

In this paper, we consider a jump-diffusion risk process with the threshold dividend strategy. Both the distributions of the inter-arrival times and the claims are assumed to be in the class of phase-type distributions. The expected discounted dividend function and the Laplace transform of the ruin time are discussed. Motivated by Asmussen [S. Asmussen, Stationary distributions for fluid flow models with or without Brownian noise, Stochastic Models 11 (1) (1995) 21–49], instead of studying the original process, we study the constructed fluid flow process and their closed-form formulas are obtained in terms of matrix expression. Finally, numerical results are provided to illustrate the computation.     

Construction of Ka-Band Preselected Harmonic Mixer

In this paper, a new method to realize pre-selected harmonic mixer is introduced. It includes a harmonic mixer, and a YIG turning filter (YTF) design. A digital driver is used for YTF, which can realize linearization modification and temperature compensation. The spectrum analyzer's out scanning voltage is given an A/D conversion and interface to digital driver.     

Application of 1,10-phenanthroline for preconcentration of selected heavy metals on silica gel

Stripping voltammetry analysis using a hemispheroidal mercury microelectrode has been previously assessed theoretically as a possible candidate ‘primary method’ for amount of substance measurement. It was shown that the measurement methodology can be described completely by a set of measurement equations when a novel quantification process is employed to measure the steady-state diffusion-limited deposition current over an optimum sampling time, instead of employing an analyte stripping step. The corollary is that, for solutions of known composition, the method may be used for highly accurate determination of diffusion coefficients. This investigation uses experimental data from steady-state diffusion-limited current measurements with sampling periods optimised using Allan deviation techniques, together with a full uncertainty analysis to estimate feasibility and likely accuracy of this method.     

Oxidation of isobutane over hydrothermally synthesized Mo-V-Te-Nb-O mixed oxide catalysts

MoV_0.3Te_0.17 and MoV_0.3Te_0.17Nb_0.12 catalysts were prepared by a hydrothermal synthesis route and tested for the oxidation of isobutane and isobutene. Characterization results showed that the structure and property of Mo-V-Te-based catalysts are relatively different depending on the presence of the Nb element. Catalytic tests showed that the selectivity of methacrolein can comparatively be improved by the addition of Nb into the MoV_0.3Te_0.17 catalyst for the selective oxidation of isobutane.     

A direct approach to Bergman kernel asymptotics for positive line bundles

We give an elementary proof of the existence of an asymptotic expansion in powers of k of the Bergman kernel associated to L ^k , where L is a positive line bundle over a compact complex manifold. We also give an algorithm for computing the coefficients in the expansion.     

Instantaneous phase shifting arrangement for microsurface profiling of flat surfaces

Phase shifting interferometry is a well-established technique for non-contact surface profile measurement. Though phase shifting technique has many advantages, it is marred by a few inaccuracies due to the vibration and mechanical movement of the phase shifter itself. Significant amount of work is reported to theoretically compensate these error sources. But for a few works, prominent achievements have not been reported in eliminating these error sources in phase shifting interferometry. In this paper, a novel optical layout, in combination with instantaneous phase shifting interferometry is described. Experiments were carried out with this setup on a super mirror with a λ/20 surface roughness, to demonstrate the validity of the principle.     

以学生为主体的混合式个性化教学模式在分析化学课程中的探索与思考

In order to solve the issues of traditional teaching methods in the undergraduate basic theory course, the blended learning mode was put forward by taking analytical chemistry as an example. With concept of student-centered, personalized teaching, together with assistant means, was introduced to achieve the breakthrough in solving the problems. We hope to reinforce the adaptability and targeting of the course teaching.

用表面纹理化的热模型 ,分析了固体表面的熔化和重固化的物理过程 ,计算了在纹理化过程中的表面温度、穿透深度、熔化深度、相面移动速度等物理量 ,提出了 Rayleigh-Taylor不稳定性形成周期化结构的机理。     

On the relative stability of cobalt‐ and nickel‐based amidinate complexes against β‐migration

We present a first‐principles study on the relative stability of cobalt‐ and nickel‐based amidinate complexes against β‐migration using density functional theory. Factors that influence the reactivity of these compounds were carefully addressed and the calculated molecular structures are in excellent agreement with the available crystal structural data. Reaction energies as well as activation barriers of β‐migration were evaluated. The predicted relative stability of the selected compounds is consistent with experimental observations. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2009
