Currently, most clinical studies in metabolomics only consider a single type of sample such as urine, plasma, or feces and use a single analytical platform, either NMR or MS. Although some studies have already investigated metabolomics data from multiple fluids, the information is limited to a unique analytical platform. On the other hand, clinical studies investigating the human metabolome that combine multi-analytical platforms have focused on a single biofluid. Combining data from multiple sample types for one patient using a multimodal analytical approach (NMR and MS) should extend the metabolome coverage. Pre-analytical and analytical phases are time consuming. These steps need to be improved in order to move into clinical studies that deal with a large number of patient samples. Our study describes a standard operating procedure for biological specimens (urine, blood, saliva, and feces) using multiple platforms (1H-NMR, RP-UHPLC-MS, and HILIC-UHPLC-MS). Each sample type follows a unique sample preparation procedure for analysis on a multi-platform basis. Our method was evaluated for its robustness and was able to generate a representative metabolic map. 相似文献

Samples (0.1 g) containing molybdenum disulphide are digested with aqua regia or with a (1 + 1) hydrofluoric/nitric acid mixture, without complete destruction of the matrix, and the molybdenum is determined in an air/acetylene flame, after emulsification with a non-ionic surfactant (Nemol K-39). ITQ-21 has been synthesized in a wide range of compositions. By rationally modifying the synthesis variables and zeolite composition, it is possible to fine-tune the crystallite size from nanocrystals (<80 nm) up to microns and to avoid the competition of other phases such as CIT-5, SSZ-24, or a laminar phase that can also be synthesized with the same organic structure directing agent. By means of XRD and (19)F MAS NMR, Ge and Si have been localized among the different crystallographic positions, and it is shown that Ge preferentially occupies T1 positions at the D4R cages, avoiding formation of Ge-O-Ge pairs. However, at high Ge loadings (Si/Ge = 1.7), a new (19)F MAS NMR signal at -14 ppm has been observed and assigned to the presence of Ge-O-Ge in Ge-rich D4R cages. Energetic configurations obtained by theoretical calculations fully agree with experimental observations, with the following increasing order in energy for Ge substitution: T1 < T2 < Ge-O-Ge in T1 < T3. 相似文献

This paper describes a methodology for the analysis of nitrogen by scanning electron microscope with an energy dispersive X‐ray spectrometer (SEM‐EDS). The methodology was developed to have a rapid and accurate alternative method to the elemental analysis by combustion and thermoconductivity detection that does not imply the decomposition of the sample. Two methods by SEM‐EDS were established: a quantitative method trying to construct a calibration curve with reference materials and another using the standardless method provided with the instrument software, and the results were compared with those obtained by elemental analysis using two instruments that work at different temperature. An important matrix effect was found when trying to construct a calibration curve for SEM‐EDS for any kind of material, being corrected when using the standardless method because this method corrects the matrix effect. The quantification of nitrogen by SEM‐EDS is a good alternative to elemental analysis by combustion and thermoconductivity detection in those cases where the sample has a very high decomposition temperature. Line emission spectrum of a laser plasma produced in an argon cluster jet target was measured on the n 1 P1?11 S 0 (n=5–9) transitions of the helium-like Ar XVII ion for a pulse duration varying from 45 fs to 1.1 ps and a constant fluence of ~105 J/cm2. The independent modeling of the relative intensities of the transitions from the n=5,..., 10 levels, as well as of the 21 P 1? 12 S 0 and 23 P 1?12 S 0 lines and dielectronic satellites indicates that the electron temperature is anomalously low and that the electron density in emitting plasma increases with shortening the laser pulse. The excitation from the ground state by a small fraction of hot electrons is expected to be the main channel of populating the Ar XVII levels. 相似文献

Pb2MnW(1-x)Re(x)O6 samples have been synthesized and their structure determined by powder x-ray diffraction. These samples undergo a first order structural phase transition between 413 and 445 K depending on the composition. Above this temperature, the samples are cubic. Below the transition temperature, solid solutions are found for x ≤ 0.2 and x ≥ 0.5. The W-rich samples adopt an orthorhombic cell whereas the Re-rich compounds are monoclinic. In the intermediate region, 0.2 < x < 0.5, both phases coexist. X-ray absorption spectra did not reveal significant changes in the local structure for Pb, Mn or Re atoms across the structural phase transition. All the atoms exhibit distorted environments in the whole series. In the case of Pb and W(Re) atoms, the local distortion remains in the high temperature phase. Samples with x ≤ 0.2 also show a sharp discontinuity in the dielectric permittivity at the phase transition temperature indicating the presence of a concomitant electrical ordering in the bulk grains. Such an anomaly in the dielectric constant is not observed for the x ≥ 0.5 samples, compatible with the lack of dipole ordering for this composition range. The different electrical behaviours also explain the differences in the entropy content for the two types of transition. 相似文献

The use of high-intensity ultrasound represents an efficient manner of producing small scale agitation, enhancing mass transfer on supercritical fluids (SF) extraction processes. In this way, a supercritical CO(2) extraction of oil from particulate almonds using power ultrasound was studied. To examine the effect of the acoustic waves all experiments were performed with and without ultrasound. A power ultrasonic transducer for a working frequency of about 20 kHz was constructed and installed inside a high-pressure 5 l SF extractor. The experimental tests were carried out with CO(2) at 280 bar and 55 degrees C. Grounded almonds with an oil content of about 55%, in an amount of 1500 g were deposited inside the SF reactor where the solvent was introduced at a flow rate of 20 kg/h. The results show that the kinetics and the extraction yield of the oil were enhanced by 30% and 20% respectively, when a power of about 50 W was applied to the transducer. The average time of each extraction process was of about 8 h and 30 min. In addition, the transducer was also used as a sensitive probe capable to detect the phase behavior of supercritical fluids when it was driven with low power signals. 相似文献

In this paper we deal with the maximal subspace in BMOA where a general semigroup of analytic functions on the unit disk generates a strongly continuous semigroup of composition
operators. Particular cases of this question are related to a well-known theorem of Sarason about VMOA. Our results describe analytically that maximal subspace and provide a condition which is sufficient for the maximal subspace
to be exactly VMOA. A related necessary condition is also proved in the case when the semigroup has an inner Denjoy-Wolff point. As a byproduct
we provide a generalization of the theorem of Sarason.
