Hardy's inequality and the boundary size

We establish a self-improving property of the Hardy inequality and an estimate on the size of the boundary of a domain supporting a Hardy inequality.

A New Cytotoxic Acetogenin from the Seeds of Annona squamosa

A New Annonaceous acetogenin,squamostolide(1),was isolated from the seeds of Annona squamosa.Its structure was elucidated based on spectroscopic methods and comparison with known compounds.It is the first example of Annonaceous acetogenin with each of the two ends of the aliphatic chain bearing a γ-lactone.Thenew compound exhibited cytotoxic activity in vitro against bel-7402 and CNE2 human tumor cell lines.     

Second order parabolic equations in Banach spaces with dynamic boundary conditions

In this paper, we exhibit a unified treatment of the mixed initial boundary value problem for second order (in time) parabolic linear differential equations in Banach spaces, whose boundary conditions are of a dynamical nature. Results regarding existence, uniqueness, continuous dependence (on initial data) and regularity of classical and strict solutions are established. Moreover, several examples are given as samples for possible applications.

     

An Improved Synthesis of Retinoic Acid from β-Ionone

A convenient and large-scale preparation of retinoic acid 1 from β-ionone in five steps with 38% overall yield is described.The key steps are the epoxidization of 2 with a new methylated agent and the condensation 4 with tetraethyl methylenediphophonate in one-pot procedure to prepare 6.     

Crystallographic report: Bis(norfloxacin)dilead(II) tetranitrate, [Pb2(H‐Norf)2(ONO2)4]

The centrosymmetric binuclear structure of [Pb₂(H‐Norf)₂(ONO₂)₄]shows the geometry around each lead(II) atom to be distorted trigonal bipyramidal with Pb–O distances ranging from 2.357(3) to 2.769(4) Å. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法测定化妆品中砷、铅、汞

本文采用五氧化二钒作催化剂，HNO3－H2SO4消解法对化妆品前处理后，用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱仪同时测定砷，铅，汞，方法简便，快速，回收率在95％－103．5％之间，相对标准偏差不大于3％。     

MgO在Mg-hBN体系中对合成cBN晶体的影响

 以金属镁粉为触媒，以六角氮化硼为原料，其中加入适量比例的氧化镁，在国产六面顶压机上，在约5.0 GPa压力、1 500～1 800 K温度条件下，合成出了颜色均匀、晶形完整的黄色立方氮化硼单晶体。实验结果表明，在Mg-hBN体系中，氧化镁对合成cBN晶体的颜色及合成温度有很大的影响。     

Synthesis and characterization of white‐light‐emitting polyfluorenes containing orange phosphorescent moieties in the side chain

Two orange phosphorescent iridium complex monomers, 9‐hexyl‐9‐(iridium (III)bis(2‐(4′‐fluorophenyl)‐4‐phenylquinoline‐N,C^2′)(tetradecanedionate‐11,13))‐2,7‐dibromofluorene (Br‐PIr) and 9‐hexyl‐9‐(iridium(III)bis(2‐(4′‐fluorophenyl)‐4‐methylquinoline‐N,C^2′)(tetradecanedionate‐11,13))‐2,7‐dibromofluorene (Br‐MIr), were successfully synthesized. The Suzuki polycondensation of 2,7‐bis(trimethylene boronate)‐9,9‐dioctylfluorene with 2,7‐dibromo‐9,9‐dioctylfluorene and Br‐PIr or Br‐MIr afforded two series of copolymers, PIrPFs and MIrPFs, in good yields, in which the concentrations of the phosphorescent moieties were kept small (0.5–3 mol % feed ratio) to realize incomplete energy transfer. The photoluminescence (PL) of the copolymers showed blue‐ and orange‐emission peaks. A white‐light‐emitting diode with a configuration of indium tin oxide/poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)/PIr05PF (0.5 mol % feed ratio of Br‐PIr)/Ca/Al exhibited a luminous efficiency of 4.49 cd/A and a power efficiency of 2.35 lm/W at 6.0 V with Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.46, 0.33). The CIE coordinates were improved to (0.34, 0.33) when copolymer MIr10PF (1.0 mol % feed ratio of Br‐MIr) was employed as the white‐emissive layer. The strong orange emission in the electroluminescence spectra in comparison with PL for these kinds of polymers was attributed to the additional contribution of charge trapping in the phosphorescent dopants. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 聚能射流的断裂时间

从描述聚能射流失稳的一维近似方程出发，导出了聚能射流断裂时间的近似公式。这个近似公式定量显示了屈服应力、本构关系、粘度和径向收缩效应等对射流断裂时间的影响，在４个不同的特殊近似下，可以自然演化为近１０年来所发表的几个半经验解析公式，并且在合理的参数范围内，公式给出的断裂时间曲线覆盖了射流断裂时间的全部实验点。
