The Existence of Solutions to Sturm-Liouville Boundary Value Problems with Laplacian-like Operator

Abstract The existence of infinitely many solutions to Sturm-Liouville boundary value problem with aLaplacian-like operator is studied by applying generalized polar coordinates.     

Efficient synthesis of an aldehyde‐capped polythiophene containing fluorinated electron‐withdrawing groups

To incorporate an acceptor type polythiophene segment onto a supramolecular block copolymer for potential light harvesting applications, effective synthetic routes for the end‐functionalized and acceptor‐substituted polythiophenes are critical. The Ullmann coupling reaction can be utilized to obtain electron‐deficient polythiophenes and to attach terminal thiophene units that carry functional groups. In this article, the reactions involving a 2,5‐dibromothiophene monomer containing an electron‐withdrawing fluorinated ester and 5‐bromo‐2‐thiophenecarboxaldehyde (the end‐capper) were studied in detail. It was found that the Ullmann coupling reaction of the dibromide is very fast (completed in a few minutes) and the terminal bromine group does not survive long under the reaction condition. These findings lead to the development of an effective procedure for aldehyde end‐capping of electron‐deficient polythiophenes. Polymers with molecular weights around 4000 Da are routinely obtained. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 45: 41–47, 2007     

Simulation and fabrication of carbon nanotubes field emission pressure sensors

A novel field emission pressure sensor has been achieved utilizing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as the electron source. The sensor consists of the anode sensing film fabricated by wet etching process and multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) cathode in the micro-vacuum chamber. MWNTs on the silicon substrate were grown by thermal CVD. The prototype pressure sensor has a measured sensitivity of about 0.17-0.77 nA/Pa (101-550 KPa). The work shows the potential use of CNTs-based field-emitter in microsensors, such as accelerometers and tactile sensors.     

相位差与q变形广义相干叠加态的压缩特性

对于q变形的非简谐振子广义相干态的叠加态β〉+eiφβeiδ〉,其量子涨落的可能高阶压缩阶数可以表示为k≠2πn/δ,这里n是整数.当δ=π时,压缩阶数不能是偶数即只能是奇数,这正是q变形非简谐振子广义奇偶相干态的结果.由此表明参数相位差δ对决定q变形的非简谐振子广义相干态叠加态的高阶压缩阶数起决定性作用.     

准Λ型四能级系统中的超窄谱线的研究

在一般Λ型三能级模型的基础上提出准Λ型四能级系统,并对准Λ型四能级模型的共振荧光谱作了详尽的研究.从上能级向两边下能级辐射的自发辐射谱中产生了三个超窄谱线,且在很大参数范围内光谱具有这一特性.三个超窄谱线的产生是和两个相干驱动场的Rabi频率密切相关,在较大的Rabi频率作用下谱线会变得更窄,而当只有一个驱动场作用时是不会产生谱线变窄效应的.能级间的碰撞弛豫和非相干激发严重地破坏了谱线变窄.这种超窄谱线效应是多通道量子干涉的结果 关键词： 准Λ型四能级系统 超窄谱线 多通道量子干涉     

双面电弧焊接的传热模型

将等离子焊接(PAW)电弧和钨极氩弧焊(TIG)电弧串接,相对作用于工件的正反面形成双面电弧焊接(DSAW)系统,可以引导焊接电流沿工件厚度方向流过小孔,补偿等离子电弧穿透工件时消耗的能量,以有效地提高等离子弧的穿透能力.综合考虑影响双面电弧焊接正反面熔池几何形状的力学因素,建立了熔池表面变形的控制方程,以此为基础并采用帖体曲线坐标系建立了DSAW焊接传热的数学模型,分析了DSAW,PAW焊接传热的差异,从传热的角度解释了DSAW焊接熔深增加的原因.焊接工艺实验表明,计算结果与实测结果吻合良好. 关键词： 双面电弧焊接(DSAW) 传热模型 熔池表面变形模型     

OPTIMAL HARVESTING POLICY FOR INSHORE-OFFSHORE FISHERY MODEL WITH IMPULSIVE DIFFUSION

This article studies the inshore-offshore fishery model with impulsive diffusion. The existence and global asymptotic stability of both the trivial periodic solution and the positive periodic solution are obtained. The complexity of this system is also analyzed. Moreover, the optimal harvesting policy are given for the inshore subpopulation, which includes the maximum sustainable yield and the corresponding harvesting effort.     

First-principles study on the origin of optical transitions to be associated with F colour centers for PbWO4 crystals

The electronic structures of PbWO₄ crystals containing F type color centers with the lattice structure optimized are studied within the framework of the fully relativistic self-consistent Direc–Slater theory, using a numerically discrete variational (DV-Xα) method. The calculated results show that F and F⁺ centers have donor energy level in forbidden band. Their optical transition energy are 1.84 eV, 2.21 eV, respectively, which corresponds to the 680 nm, 550 nm absorption bands. It predicts that the 680 nm, 550 nm absorption bands originate form the F and F⁺ centers in PbWO₄ crystals.     

On Polynomial Functions over Finite Commutative Rings

Let R be an arbitrary finite commutative local ring. In this paper, we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a function over R to be a polynomial function. Before this paper, necessary and sufficient conditions for a function to be a polynomial function over some special finite commutative local rings were obtained.
