Summary A new micromethod for spectrophotometric determination of hydrazine compounds is described. It is based on a reaction withperi-naphthindan-2,3,4-trione hydrate at pH 2.5 to give a red precipitate of dihydroxy-peri-naphthindenone which is dissolved in methanol and measured at 460 nm. The results obtained show an average recovery of 99.8 %, the precision being ± 1 %.
Zusammenfassung Eine neue Mikromethode zur spektrophotometrischen Bestimmung von Hydrazinverbindungen wurde beschrieben. Sie beruht auf der Reaktion mit peri-Naphthindan-2,3,4-trion-hydrat bei pH 2,5, wobei ein roter Niederschlag von Dihydroxy-peri-naphthindenon entsteht, der in Methanol gelöst und bei 460 nm gemessen wird. 99,8% Substanz werden wiedergefunden, die Genauigkeit beträgt ±1%.相似文献

Summary The solid state ion-selective chloride and bromide electrodes are used for the microdetermination of chlorine and bromine in organic compounds. After combustion in an oxygen-filled flask, potentiometric titration with silver nitrate at pH 5–7 in presence of 50% dioxan is carried out. Results accurate to ±0.3% absolute are obtained with some partially and highly halogenated compounds.

Zusammenfassung Chlorid- und bromidselektive Festkörperelektroden wurden zur Chlor- und Brombestimmung in teilweise bzw. hochhalogenierten organischen Verbindungen benutzt. Nach Verbrennung im Sauerstoffkolben erfolgt eine potentiometrische Titration mit Silbernitrat bei pH 5–7 in Gegenwart von 50% Dioxan. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse sind auf ±0,3 % genau.相似文献

For the determination of trace elements in neutron irradiated, selenium by gamma-ray spectrometry the separation of the matrix activity is often necessary. In model experiments the decontamination of cation and anion impurities from the matrix solution was investigated by the counter current ion migration. After a processing of 3 hrs the trace activities of Co, Cr, Ga, Na and Zn were decontaminated from Se with a factor of >103. For the trace elements As and Te representing the anionic constituents, a decontamination factor of 3·102 was obtained. 相似文献

Summary A microanalytical radioactive method for the estimation of the iodine number in linseed oil has been fully described. The application of the method was carried out on three varieties of linseed oil, namely: Guiza IV, Indian and Baladi. The relationship between the radioactivity measured on the oil spot and the iodine consumed for saturation is described.A simple equation has been put forward for the direct estimation of the iodine value from the specific activity and the number of counts on the oil spot. Summary The iodine number of twenty-two samples of different fats and oils is determined by 131I, according to the radiometric method. The values obtained for such samples lie between 7.2 and 154.9. The method is applicable with reproducible results and is recommended to cover any stage of unsaturation.

A three-dimensional mathematical model is developed to examine the flow of nonlinear thermal radiation Oldroyd-B nanofluid past a bidirectional linearly stretched surface in a porous medium. The flow is induced by temperature dependent thermal conductivity, chemical reaction and convective heat and mass conditions. Novel characteristics of Brownian motion and thermophoresis are accompanied by magnetohydrodynamic and heat generation/absorption. Self-similar transformations are employed to convert the system of nonlinear partial differential equations to a system of ordinary differential equations with high nonlinearity and are solved by strong analytic technique named as Homotopy Analysis method (HAM). Effects of varied arising parameters on involved distributions are reflected through graphical illustrations. From this study, it is perceived that strong magnetic field hinders the fluid's motion and leads to rise in temperature that eventually lowers heat transfer rate from the surface. Further, decrease in heat transfer rate is also observed for enhanced values of thermal radiation parameter. To validate our results, a comparison with already published paper in limiting case is also given and results are found in excellent oncurrence; hence reliable results are being presented. 相似文献

The asymptotic iteration method is used to find exact and approximate solutions of Schrödinger’s equation for a number of one-dimensional trigonometric potentials (sine-squared, double-cosine, tangent-squared, and complex cotangent). Analytic and approximate solutions are obtained by first using a coordinate transformation to reduce the Schrödinger equation to a second-order differential equation with an appropriate form. The effect of a strong magnetic field (induction up to 10 T) on free and bound excitons in CuInS2 single crystals is studied. A diamagnetic shift to higher energies is observed in the luminescence and reflectance spectra
for free-exciton lines ALPB ≈ 1.5348 eV, AUPB ≈ 1.5361 eV, and BC ≈ 1.557 eV. The diamagnetic shifts of free-exciton lines ALPB, AUPB, and BC provide a basis for estimating the exciton reduced masses
