This paper describes a GC–MS method for the determination of naproxen in human plasma. Naproxen and internal standard ibuprofen were extracted from plasma using a liquid–liquid extraction method. Derivatization was carried out using N‐methyl‐N‐(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide. The calibration curve was linear between the concentration range of 0.10–5.0 μg/mL. Intra‐ and interday precision values for naproxen in plasma were <5.14, and accuracy (relative error) was better than 4.67%. The extraction recoveries of naproxen from human plasma were between 93.0 and 98.9%. The LOD and LOQ of naproxen were 0.03 and 0.10 μg/mL, respectively. Also, this assay was applied to determine the pharmacokinetic parameters of naproxen in six healthy Turkish volunteers who had been given 220 mg naproxen.  相似文献

In this work polystyrene based strontium phosphate membranes (SPMs) were prepared by applying different pressures. The membrane potential is measured with uni-univalent electrolytes (KCl, NaCl, and LiCl) solutions using saturated calomel electrodes (SCEs). The effective fixed charge density of these membranes is determined by the Torell, Meyer and Sievers method and it showed the dependence of membrane potential on the porosity, the charge on the membrane matrix, charge and size of permeating ions. The membranes are characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and IR spectroscopy. The order of surface charge density for electrolytes is KCl > NaCl > LiCl. Other parameters such as transport number, distribution coefficient, charge effectiveness and related parameters are calculated. The membrane was found to be mechanically stable, and can be operated over a wide pH range.  相似文献

A new high‐yielding, operationally simple, solvent‐free, and mild method for preparation of pyrazolines, tetrahydrocarbazoles, and indoles has been developed using KHSO4 · H2O impregnated on SiO2. The reactions have been probed under microwave irradiation (MWI), and ultrasonic and thermal conditions, employing different solid supports. The data revealed that KHSO4 · H2O impregnated on SiO2 under MWI provides the best yields in a shorter time under solvent‐free reaction conditions.  相似文献

The predictable relationship between beta-amino acid sequence and folding has inspired several biological applications of beta-peptides. For many such applications, it would be desirable to prepare and screen beta-peptide libraries. However, standard peptide synthesis protocols are not efficient enough to support a library approach for many types of beta-peptides. We recently optimized the solid-phase synthesis of beta-peptides using microwave irradiation, and we have now adapted this approach to synthesis on polystyrene macrobeads. We rapidly prepared a high-quality beta-peptide combinatorial library via a split-and-mix strategy. This library was screened in search of beta-peptide antagonists of the p53-MDM2 protein-protein interaction.  相似文献

A new type of physiologically relevant nitrosamines have been recently recognized, the N(1)-nitrosoindoles. The possible pathways by which N(1)-nitrosomelatonin (NOMel) can react in physiological environments have been studied. Our results show that NOMel slowly decomposes spontaneously in aqueous solution, generating melatonin as the main organic product (k = (3.7 +/- 1.1) x 10(-5) s(-1), Tris-HCl (0.2 M) buffer, pH 7.4 at 37 degrees C, anaerobic). This rate is accelerated by acidification (k(pH 5.8) = (4.5 +/- 0.7) x 10(-4) s(-1), k(pH 8.8) = (3.9 +/- 0.6) x 10(-6) s(-1), Tris-HCl (0.2 M) buffer at 37 degrees C), by the presence of O(2) (k(o) = (9.8 +/- 0.1) x 10(-5) s(-1), pH 7.4, 37 degrees C, [NOMel] = 0.1 mM, P(O(2)) = 1 atm), and by the presence of the spin trap TEMPO (2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine 1-oxyl; k(o) = (2.0 +/- 0.1) x 10(-4) s(-1), pH 7.4, 37 degrees C, [NOMel] = 0.1 mM, [TEMPO] = 9 mM). We also found that NOMel can transnitrosate to l-cysteinate, producing S-nitrosocysteine and melatonin (k = 0.127 +/- 0.002 M(-1) s(-1), Tris-HCl (0.2 M) buffer, pH 7.4 at 37 degrees C). The reaction of NOMel with ascorbic acid as a reducing agent has also been studied. This rapid reaction produces nitric oxide and melatonin. The saturation of the observed rate constant (k = (1.08 +/- 0.04) x 10(-3) s(-1), Tris-HCl (0.2 M) buffer, pH 7.4 at 37 degrees C) at high ascorbic acid concentration (100-fold with respect to NOMel) and the pH independence of this reaction in the pH range 7-9 indicate that the reactive species are ascorbate and melatonyl radical originated from the reversible homolysis of NOMel. Taking into account kinetic and DFT calculation data, a comprehensive mechanism for the denitrosation of NOMel is proposed. On the basis of our kinetics results, we conclude that under physiological conditions NOMel mainly reacts with endogenous reducing agents (such as ascorbic acid), producing nitric oxide and melatonin.  相似文献

Photocatalytic CO2 reduction is a most promising technique to capture CO2 and reduce it to non-fossil fuel and other valuable compounds. Today, we are facing serious environmental issues due to the usage of excessive amounts of non-renewable energy resources. In this aspect, photocatalytic CO2 reduction will provide us with energy-enriched compounds and help to keep our environment clean and healthy. For this purpose, various photocatalysts have been designed to obtain selective products and improve efficiency of the system. Semiconductor materials have received great attention and have showed good performances for CO2 reduction. Titanium dioxide has been widely explored as a photocatalyst for CO2 reduction among the semiconductors due to its suitable electronic/optical properties, availability at low cost, thermal stability, low toxicity, and high photoactivity. Inspired by natural photosynthesis, the artificial Z-scheme of photocatalyst is constructed to provide an easy method to enhance efficiency of CO2 reduction. This review covers literature in this field, particularly the studies about the photocatalytic system, TiO2 Z-scheme heterojunction composites, and use of transition metals for CO2 photoreduction. Lastly, challenges and opportunities are described to open a new era in engineering and attain good performances with semiconductor materials for photocatalytic CO2 reduction.  相似文献
