The inelastic strains are used to characterize the deformation of concrete in triaxial compression. The relation between the plastic volumetric strain and the plastic strain deviator in round confined concrete columns is analyzed. This relation is described by the inclination of the incremental plastic strain vector. A relationship for the inclination as a function of the plain concrete strength, confinement properties, and hydrostatic pressure is found.  相似文献

Electrical conductivity in the monoclinic Li2TiO3, cubic Li1.33Ti1.67O4, and in their mixture has been studied by impedance spectroscopy in the temperature range 20–730 °C. Li2TiO3 shows low lithium ion conductivity, σ300≈10–6 S/cm at 300 °C, whereas Li1.33Ti1.67O4 has 3×10–8 at 20 °C and 3×10–4 S/cm at 300 °C. Structural properties are used to discuss the observed conductivity features. The conductivity dependences on temperature in the coordinates of 1000/T versus logeT) are not linear, as the conductivity mechanism changes. Extrinsic and intrinsic conductivity regions are observed. The change in the conductivity mechanism in Li2TiO3 at around 500–600 °C is observed and considered as an effect of the first-order phase transition, not reported before. Formation of solid solutions of Li2– x Ti1+ x O3 above 900 °C significantly increases the conductivity. Irradiation by high-energy (5 MeV) electrons causes defects and the conductivity in Li2TiO3 increases exponentially. A dose of 144 MGy yields an increase in conductivity of about 100 times at room temperature. Electronic Publication  相似文献

Tests are given for uniform convergence of Fourier series for spaces of functions of generalized bounded variation; along with the well-known tests (of Salem–Oskolkov–Young, Chanturiya, and Waterman) we suggest new tests. We show that the Waterman test for uniform convergence of Fourier series is strongest and unimprovable. We present a theorem on exact estimates for the Fourier coefficients for spaces of functions of bounded variation which contains classical results, improves several well-known results, and gives some new results.  相似文献

The kinetics of the solid‐state phase transformation of xylazine hydrochloride form X to A has been investigated using powder X‐ray diffraction and differential thermal analysis. Three different kinetic models have been used to describe transition kinetics: the Avrami–Erofeev equation, the Cardew equation, and the methodology for simulation of solid‐state phase transition kinetics by the combination of nucleation and nuclei growth processes. The latter has been recently developed and has been tested in this paper for the case of a real solid‐state transition. The relative humidity, mechanical pressure, temperature, and sample‐preparation effect on phase‐transition kinetics have been investigated, and rate constant changes have been analyzed.  相似文献

Results of studying the conditions for optimum electrooptical (EO) interaction in lithium niobate crystals are presented. Analytical formulas are obtained for calculating refractive indices of natural waves and their polarizations for basis X-, Y-, and Z-cuts of crystals for arbitrary orientations of the wave vector of an optical wave. Conditions are found for the appearance of intermode EO interaction causing the orientation of polarization plane of natural waves to become a function of the external electric field.  相似文献

Star partial order was initially introduced for semigroups and rings with (proper) involution. In particular, this order has recently been studied on Rickart *-rings. It is known that the star order in such rings can be characterized by conditions not involving involution explicitly. Owing to these characterizations, the order can be extended to certain special Rickart rings named strong in the paper; this extension is the objective of the paper. The corresponding order structure of strong Rickart rings is studied more thoroughly. In particular, the most significant lattice properties of star-ordered Rickart *-rings are successfully transferred to strong Rickart rings; also several new results are obtained.  相似文献
