Molecular dynamics simulations in slab geometry and surface tension measurements were performed for aqueous solutions of magnesium acetate and magnesium nitrate at various concentrations. The simulations reveal a strong affinity of acetate anions for the surface, while nitrate exhibits only a very weak surface propensity, and magnesium is per se strongly repelled from the air/water interface. CH3COO- also exhibits a much stronger tendency than NO3- for ion pairing with Mg2+ in the bulk and particularly in the interfacial layer. The different interfacial behavior of the two anions is reflected by the opposite concentration dependence (beyond 0.5 M) of surface tension of the corresponding magnesium salts. Measurements, supported by simulations, show that the surface tension of Mg(NO3)2(aq) increases with concentration as for other inorganic salts. However, in the case of Mg(OAc)2(aq) the surface tension isotherm exhibits a turnover around 0.5 M, after which it starts to decrease, indicating a positive net solute excess in the interfacial layer at higher concentrations.  相似文献

Mesoporous CuFe2O4 solid solution nanopowders with high specific surface areas were synthesized by a novel, very simple and inexpensive sol-gel route using propylene oxide as gelation agent, and used as the catalyst in low temperature CO oxidation. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption-desorption, thermogravimetric/differential thermal analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and temperature-programmed reduction. The results revealed that the samples have a nanocrystalline structure with crystals in the range of 10 to 25 nm, and that all the catalysts have mesoporous pores. The addition of Cu into iron oxide affected its structural and catalytic properties. The sample containing 15 mol% Cu showed the highest specific surface area and catalytic activity, and showed high catalytic stability in low temperature CO oxidation.  相似文献

A facile and efficient method for dehydration of aldoximes into nitriles using N-(p-toluenesulfonyl) imidazole (TsIm) is described. In this method, aldoximes were refluxed with TsIm in the presence of 1,8-diazabicyclo-[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) in dimethylformamide (DMF) to afford the corresponding nitriles in good yields. This methodology is highly efficient for various structurally diverse aldoximes including aromatic, heteroaromatic, and aliphatic oximes. A plausible mechanism for the conversion of aldoxime into nitriles using TsIm/DBU is explained.  相似文献

Behavior of {[(CH3)2SnCl2·H2O]2·18-crown-6}n in solution have been investigated by HMBC NMR. The results show that coordination of water to tin containing species and its hydrogen bonding to crown ether remains intact in non-coordinating solvent in contrast to coordinating solvent. H-NMR reveals that the chemical shift of water in complex varies by solvent of crystallization.  相似文献

A simple, efficient, and general method has been developed for the synthesis of carbamoyl and thiocarbamoyl phosphonic esters using CaCl2 as an efficient Lewis base catalyst. Carbamoyl and thiocarbamoyl phosphonic esters were obtained in good yield (37%–65%) and purity under mild conditions by the reaction of diethyl phosphite with isocyanates and isothiocyanates in the presence of CaCl2. This method is easy, rapid, and good‐yielding reaction for the synthesis of carbamoyl and thiocarbamoyl phosphonic esters. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Densities and viscosities of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium nitrate [Bmim][NO3], and its binaries with alcohol (ethanol, 1-propanol, or 1-butanol) were measured at different temperatures. The densities and viscosities of pure ionic liquid were correlated successfully by empirical equations. The Vogel–Fulcher–Tammann equations can fit the experimental data of viscosities for pure IL. Excess molar volume and viscosity deviations were calculated for the binaries. The excess molar volumes have negative deviations from the ideal solution.  相似文献

Among a number of different sulfonic acid nanoreactors prepared, 5 having both acidic sites and phenyl groups located inside the mesochannels of SBA-15 was shown to be the most active and reusable catalyst in the von Pechmann reaction. The mesochannels, and covalently anchored organic groups, provide a synergistic means of an efficient approach of the reactants to acidic sites, enough space for the subsequent cyclization, and suitable hydrophobicity to drive out the water byproduct.  相似文献

(13)C chemical shieldings and (14)N and (2)H electric field gradient (EFG) tensors of L-alanylglycine (L-alagly) dipeptide were calculated at RHF/6-31 + + G** and B3LYP/6-31 + + G** levels of theory respectively. For these calculations a crystal structure of this dipeptide obtained from X-ray crystallography was used. Atomic coordinates of different clusters containing several L-alagly molecules were used as input files for calculations. These clusters consist of central and surrounding L-alagly molecules, the latter forming short, strong, hydrogen bonds with the central molecule. Since the calculations did not converge for these clusters, the surrounding L-alagly molecules were replaced by glycine molecules. In order to improve the accuracy of calculated chemical shifts and nuclear quadrupole coupling constants (NQCCs), different geometry-optimization strategies were applied for hydrogen nuclei. Agreement between calculated and experimental data confirms that our optimized coordinates for hydrogen nuclei are more accurate than those obtained by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

A manganese(II) complex of 2,4,6-tris(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine (tptz) has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses, IR, and UV–Vis spectroscopic techniques. Oxidation of alcohols to their corresponding aldehydes and ketones was conducted by this catalyst using oxone (2KHSO5·KHSO4·K2SO4) as an oxidant under biphasic reaction conditions (CH2Cl2/H2O) and tetra-n-butylammonium bromide as phase transfer agent under air at room temperature. Easy preparation, mild reaction conditions, high yields of the products, short reaction times, no further oxidation to the corresponding carboxylic acids, high selectivity and inexpensive reagents make this catalytic system a useful oxidation method for aliphatic and benzylic alcohols.  相似文献

We report the formation of a new class of supported membranes consisting of a fluid phospholipid bilayer coupled directly to a broadly tunable colloidal crystal with a well-defined photonic band gap. For nanoscale colloidal crystals exhibiting a band gap at the optical frequencies, substrate-induced vesicle fusion gives rise to a surface bilayer riding onto the crystal surface. The bilayer is two-dimensionally continuous, spanning multiple beads with lateral mobilities which reflect the coupling between the bilayer topography and the curvature of the supporting colloidal surface. In contrast, the spreading of vesicles on micrometer scale colloidal crystals results in the formation of bilayers wrapping individual colloidal beads. We show that simple UV photolithography of colloidal crystals produces binary patterns of crystal wettabilities, photonic stopbands, and corresponding patterns of lipid mono- and bilayer morphologies. We envisage that these approaches will be exploitable for the development of optical transduction assays and microarrays for many membrane-mediated processes, including transport and receptor-ligand interactions.  相似文献
