Treatment of [Cp*RuCl2]2, 1 , [(COD)IrCl]2, 2 or [(p-cymene)RuCl2]2, 3 (Cp*=η5-C5Me5, COD= 1,5-cyclooctadiene and p-cymene=η6-iPrC6H4Me) with heterocyclic borate ligands [Na[(H3B)L], L1 and L2 ( L1 : L=amt, L2 : L=mp; amt=2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole, mp=2-mercaptopyridine) led to the formation of borate complexes having uncommon coordination. For example, complexes 1 and 2 on reaction with L1 and L2 afforded dihydridoborate species [LAM(μ-H)2BHL] 4 – 6 ( 4 : LA=Cp*, M=Ru, L=amt; 5 : LA=Cp*, M=Ru, L=mp; 6 : LA=COD, M=Ir, L=mp). On the other hand, treatment of 3 with L2 yielded cis- and trans-bis(dihydridoborate) species, [Ru{(μ-H)2BH(mp)}2], cis- 7 and trans- 7 . The isolation and structural characterization of fac- and mer-[Ru{(μ-H)2BH(mp)}{(μ-H)BH(mp)2}], 8 from the same reaction offered an insight into the behaviour of these dihydridoborate species in solution. Fascinatingly, despite having reduced natural charges on Ru centres both at cis-and trans- 7 , they underwent hydroboration reaction with alkynes that yielded both Markovnikov and anti-Markovnikov addition products, 10 a – d .  相似文献

We have shown solvent- and substrate-dependent chiral inversion of a few glycoconjugate supramolecules. (Z)-F-Gluco, in which d -glucosamine has been attached chemically to Cbz-protected l -phenylalanine at the C terminus, forms a self-healing hydrogel through intertwining of the nanofibers wherein the gelators undergo lamellar packing in the β-sheet secondary structures with a single chiral handedness. Dihybrid (Z)-F-gluco nanocomposite gel was prepared by in-situ formation of silver nanoparticles AgNPs in the gel; this enhances the mechanical properties of the composite gel through physical crosslinking without altering the packing pattern. In contrast, (Z)-L-gluco bearing an l -leucine moiety does not form a hydrogel but an organogel. Interestingly, the chiral handedness of the aggregates of (Z)-L-gluco can be reversed by choosing suitable solvents. In addition to self-healing behavior, (Z)-L-gluco gel revealed shape persistency. Further, (Z)-F-gluco hydrogel is benign, nontoxic, non-immunogenic, and non-allergenic in animal cells. AgNP-loaded (Z)-F-gluco hydrogel showed antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.  相似文献

The stereoselective synthesis of 1,3-enynes from 1,3-diynes is demonstrated by palladium-catalyzed selective C–C bond cleavage of cyclopropanol. Exclusive formation of mono-alkenylated adducts was achieved by eliminating the possibility of di-functionalization with high stereoselectivity. Indeed, this protocol worked very well with electronically and sterically diverse substrates. Several studies, including deuterium labeling experiments and intermolecular competitive experiments, were carried out to understand the mechanistic details. The atomic-level mechanism followed in the catalytic process was also validated using DFT calculations, and the rate-controlling states in the catalytic cycle were identified. Furthermore, preliminary mechanistic investigations with radical scavengers revealed the non-involvement of the radical pathway in this transformation.

Palladium-catalyzed tandem activation and functionalization of readily accessible cyclopropanols have been demonstrated to access valuable conjugated enynes from 1,3-diynes with high stereo-selectivity.  相似文献

Summary Cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of 3, 5-dimethyl-1-(4, 6-dimethyl-2-pyrimidyl)pyrazole (DPymPz) have been synthesized and characterized. Magnetic and electronic spectral features show that both [M(DPymPz)2X2nH2O [M=cobalt(II) or nickel(II), X=Cl, Br, I, SCN, NO3, ClO4 or BF4 andn=0 or 2] and [Cu(DPymPz)X2(H2O)2] (X=Cl, Br or SCN) are essentially octahedral species. The i.r. spectra indicate that DPymPz is a neutral bidentate ligand being the pyrazolyl and one pyrimidyl ring nitrogen. Summary The kinetics of reduction of [MnIII(cydta)] (where H4cydta=trans-cyclohexane-1,2-diamine-N N N' N'-tetraacetic acid) by some thiourea reductants have been studied in aqueous solution by stopped-flow techniques in the pH ranges 2.5–4.5 and 9.2–10.2. An initial increase in absorbance followed by a steady decrease indicated the formation of a precursor complex prior to the electron transfer step. The reactions are first order in both oxidant and reductant. The observed increase in rate in going from low to high pH is attributed to the difference in reactivities of the aqua and hydroxo species of the MnIII complex; the higher reactivity of the latter is consistent with the formation of a ligand-bridged activated species prior to electron transfer. The reactivity order for the thiourea derivatives follows the order of their reported substituent effects.  相似文献

Silica has been non-covalently coated on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) using the sol–gel chemistry, where tetraethoxy silane (TEOS) was used to form an inorganic silica layer immediately next to surface of MWCNTs and octyl triethoxy silane was coated over the TEOS. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) measurements show that the diameter of MWCNTs increases with increasing the number of coating layer, indicating that the silica has been coated on MWCNTs. Quantitative analysis from thermogravimetric analysis (TG) also indicates that the inorganic and organic silica has been successfully coated on MWCNTs. Further, quantitative analysis found that the amount of silica measured by TG agrees well with the increase of thickness of coated MWCNTs obtained from TEM, indicating that little or no free silica exists in the system. The thermal conductivity of epoxy/MWCNTs composite was studied and the results show that the thermal conductivity of the composite is improved by coating MWCNTs in this manner and increases with increasing the number of coatings.  相似文献

A new ortho-phenylenediamine-based fluorescent cleft 1 has been designed and synthesized. The open cleft of 1 selectively recognizes tetrabutylammonium dihydrogen phosphate in CH3CN by exhibiting a significant decrease in the emission of anthracene. The interactions of 1 are also investigated in aq CH3OH where no measurable change in the emission is observed for tetrabutylammonium dihydrogen phosphate, although sodium salts of phosphate, hydrogen phosphate, and dihydrogen phosphate exhibit moderate changes. Tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate is sensed effectively in aq CH3OH. The anion binding properties of 1 were evaluated by 1H NMR, UV-vis, and fluorescence spectroscopic methods.  相似文献

In developing new insulin-mimetic zinc(II) complexes with various ligands including a biodegradable polymer, we prepared and characterized a Zn(gamma-pga) complex in solution as well as in solid, and investigated its in vitro insulin-mimetic activity and in vivo antidiabetic effect in type-2 diabetic KKA(y) mice. The in vitro insulin-mimetic activity of the Zn(gamma-pga) complex was considerable better than that of ZnSO(4). The Zn(gamma-pga) complex normalized the hyperglycemia in KKA(y) mice within 21 d when administrated orally at doses of 10-20 mg (0.15-0.31 mmol) Zn per kg body mass for 30 d. In addition, the impaired glucose tolerance, elevated HbA(1c) levels and metabolic syndromes were significantly improved in Zn(gamma-pga)-treated KKA(y) mice relative to those administrated with saline and ZnSO(4).  相似文献
