Microwave absorption studies have been carried out on MgB2 superconductor using a standard X-band EPR spectrometer. The modulated low-field microwave absorption signals recorded for polycrystalline (grain size ∼ 10 μm) samples suggested the absence of weak-link character. The field dependent direct microwave absorption has been found to obey a ✓H dependence with two different slopes, which indicated a transition from strongly pinned lattice to flux flow regime.  相似文献

In this study, a novel series of 5‐piperazinethiazole 2,2‐dimethylbutanoic acid and 5‐piperidinethiazole 2,2‐dimethylbutanoic acid derivatives have been synthesized. Structures of the newly synthesized compounds have been elucidated using 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, high‐resolution mass spectroscopy, and high‐performance liquid chromatographic analysis. The synthesized derivatives have been evaluated in vitro for their ability to inhibit the enzyme diacylglycerol acyltransferase 1 responsible for triglyceride biosynthesis.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The present phosphor K2Ca(SO4)2, doped by dysprosium and europium, is synthesized by the solid-state diffusion method. The doping concentration varied from 0.1 to 0.5?mol% by weight. A phosphor is studied for X-ray powder diffraction, surface morphology analytical scanning electron microscopy and analyzed by energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The prepared phosphor K2Ca(SO4)2, doped by Dy and Eu, has been characterized for thermoluminescence (TL) glow curve, showing maximum peak temperatures at 176°C and at 200°C, respectively. TL peak intensity of K2Ca(SO4)2: Dy and Eu was compared with the standard TLD CaSO4:Dy phosphor. Both phosphors show the dose linearity ranging from 20 to 240?Gy doses of γ-rays of 60Co source at room temperature. Negligible fading has been observed when irradiated with γ-rays and stored for 60 days without taking any care from sunlight. The TL materials were used in powder forms. The linearity of ESR response with dose for powder forms of K2Ca(SO4)2: Dy was also studied using the signals at g?=?2:0039 (SO3?) and at g?=?2:02282 (SO4?). It was observed that the range of linearity of dose response extended between 20 and 240?Gy. Kinetic parameters have been calculated using three different methods: Chen's peak shape method, various heating rate method and initial rise method. To study the heating rate method, the glow curve was recorded for the heating rate as 1°C, 3°C, 5°C, 7°C, 9°C each time. Electron spin resonance (ESR) shows the ionic radical formation during γ-irradiation, which is responsible for TL. The effect of temperature and microwave power on the ESR signal was also studied.  相似文献

Densities, viscosities and speeds of sound of binary mixtures of ethanol, propan-1-ol, butan-1-ol and pentane-1-ol with n-butyl acetate have been measured over the entire range of composition at temperatures of 298.15, 303.15, 308.15 and 313.15 K and atmospheric pressure. From the experimental densities, viscosities and speeds of sound, the excess molar volumes V E, deviations in viscosity ????, and deviations in isentropic compressibility ???? S have been calculated. The excess molar volumes and deviations in isentropic compressibility are positive for all the binary systems studied over the whole composition, while deviations in viscosities are negative for all of the binary mixtures. The excess molar volumes, deviations in viscosity, and deviations in isentropic compressibility have been fitted to a Redlich?CKister type polynomial equation. FTIR and 1H-NMR studies of these mixtures are also reported.  相似文献

The effect of Cr3+ substitution in Mg–Zn ferrite, with a chemical formula Mg0.5Zn0.5CrxFe2−xO4 (x=0.0–1.0), synthesized by a sol–gel auto-combustion reaction is presented in this paper. The resultant powders were investigated by various techniques, including X-ray diffractometry (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), infrared spectroscopy (IR), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), and DC resistivity. The XRD pattern revealed that the cubic spinel structure is maintained for the all the compositions. The particle sizes measured from XRD and TEM are in good agreement with each other. The cation distribution suggests that Mg2+, Cr3+ and Fe3+ have strong preference towards octahedral B-site. The theoretical lattice constant and experimental lattice constant match each other very well. The IR analysis supports the presently accepted cation distribution. The saturation magnetization decreases linearly with increasing Cr3+ content. Curie temperatures are obtained by the Laoria and AC susceptibility techniques. The dc resistivity has been investigated as a function of temperature and composition.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline cerium oxide (CeO2) thin films were deposited onto the fluorine doped tin oxide coated glass substrates using methanolic solution of cerium nitrate hexahydrate precursor by a simple spray pyrolysis technique. Thermal analysis of the precursor salt showed the onset of crystallization of CeO2 at 300 °C. Therefore, cerium dioxide thin films were prepared at different deposition temperatures from 300 to 450 °C. Films were transparent (T ~ 80%), polycrystalline with cubic fluorite crystal structure and having band gap energy (Eg) in the range of 3.04–3.6 eV. The different morphological features of the film obtained at various deposition temperatures had pronounced effect on the ion storage capacity (ISC) and electrochemical stability. The larger film thickness coupled with adequate degree of porosity of CeO2 films prepared at 400 °C showed higher ion storage capacity of 20.6 mC cm? 2 in 0.5 M LiClO4 + PC electrolyte. Such films were also electrochemically more stable than the other studied samples. The Ce4+/Ce3+ intervalancy charge transfer mechanism during the bleaching–lithiation of CeO2 film was directly evidenced from X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The optically passive behavior of the CeO2 film (prepared at 400 °C) is affirmed by its negligible transmission modulation upon Li+ ion insertion/extraction, irrespective of the extent of Li+ ion intercalation. The coloration efficiency of spray deposited tungsten oxide (WO3) thin film is found to enhance from 47 to 53 cm2 C? 1 when CeO2 is coupled with WO3 as a counter electrode in electrochromic device. Hence, CeO2 can be a good candidate for optically passive counter electrode as an ion storage layer.  相似文献

Three new mono–di–trinuclear cobalt complexes of three different Schiff bases have been synthesised. In all the three complexes psuedohalides (NCO and N3) have been incorporated to generate structural variation. Of the three Schiff bases, HL1 and HL2 were obtained by selective condensation of two different 1,3-diamines with 2-hydroxyacetophenone and H2L3 resulted from non-selective condensation of 1,3-diamine with 2-hydroxyacetophenone. Only one –NH2 functionality of 1,3-diaminopropane and 1,3-diaminopentane was selectively condensed with 2-hydroxyacetophenone to generate Schiff bases HL1 and HL2, respectively. H2L3 was obtained by condensing both the amine functionality of 1,3-diaminopropane with 2-hydroxyacetophenone. Therefore HL1 and HL2 behave as a N2O donors, whereas H2L3 provides a N2O2 donor coordination environment for the cobalt ions in the respective complexes. In [Co(L1)2]2 [Co(NCO)4] (1) the asymmetric unit comprises of five mononuclear cobalt centers, [Co2(μ–N3)2(L2)2(N3)2] (2) is a dinuclear and [(H2O)2Co(μ–N3)2(μ–L3)2Co2(N3)1.25(CH3O)0.75] · H2O (3) is a trinuclear cobalt species. The three complexes have been characterised using IR, UV–Vis spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. Structural aspects of 1, 2 and 3 have been described by performing single crystal X-ray analysis. EPR analyses of 1 and 3, and DNA binding abilities of all three cobalt complexes have been studied in detail.  相似文献

At the center of many complex biosynthetic pathways, the acyl carrier protein (ACP) shuttles substrates to appropriate enzymatic partners to produce fatty acids and polyketides. Carrier proteins covalently tether their cargo via a thioester linkage to a phosphopantetheine cofactor. Due to the labile nature of this linkage, chemoenzymatic methods have been developed that involve replacement of the thioester with a more stable amide or ester bond. We explored the importance of the thioester bond to the structure of the carrier protein by using solution NMR spectroscopy and molecular dynamics simulations. Remarkably, the replacement of sulfur with other heteroatoms results in significant structural changes, thus suggesting more rigorous selections of isosteric substitutes is needed.  相似文献
