Based on a study of the analytic running coupling obtained from the standard perturbation-theory results up to four-loop order,
the QCD “synthetic” running coupling αsyn is built. In so doing the perturbative time-like discontinuity is preserved and nonperturbative contributions not only remove
the nonphysical singularities of the perturbation theory in the infrared region but also decrease rapidly in the ultraviolet
region. In the framework of the approach, on the one hand, the running coupling is enhanced at zero and, on the other hand,
the dynamical gluon mass m
g
arises. Fixing the parameters which characterize the infrared enhancement corresponding to the string tension σ and normalization,
say, at M
τ completely define the synthetic running coupling. In this case the dynamical gluon mass appears to be fixed and the higher-loop
stabilization property of m
g
is observed. For σ = (0.42 GeV)2 and αsyn(M
τ
2) = 0.33 ± 0.01 it is obtained that m
g
= 530 ± 80 MeV.

New experimental data on the spin-rotation parameters A and R measured for elastic π ± p scattering in the resonance region and on the asymmetry in pC scattering at primary momenta in the range 1.35–2.02 GeV/c, as well as in quasielastic proton scattering on nuclei in the same momentum range, are summarized. All these data were recently obtained by using the proton synchrotron installed at the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP, Moscow). The spectrum and features of seven isospin-3/2 baryon resonances that form a peak in the total cross section at a c.m. energy of 1.9 GeV are analyzed on the basis of new data on the parameters A and R, and the results of this analysis are presented. Blends of polyarylate of bisphenol A, PAr, with two commercial main chain liquid crystalline polymers, Vectra A950 and Vectra B950, are studied. From dynamic viscoelastic measurements it is deduced that both systems (PAr/Vectra A950 and PAr/Vectra B950) are immiscible and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) micrographs show the presence of spherical domains of the liquid crystalline polymer when PAr constitutes the matrix. Extrusion capillary measurements reveal that, under conditions of temperature and shear rate similar to those of processing, the viscosity is reduced to approximately 10% of its value when the content of liquid crystalline polymer is only 20%. This great improvement of the rheological properties is observed in both PAr/Vectra A950 and PAr/Vectra B950 blends. The effect of draw ratio on Young's modulus for different compositions is also analyzed, pointing out the reinforcing action of both liquid crystalline polymers on polyarylate: for instance, 20% of Vectra B950 in the blend gives rise to a 700% increase of the modulus of fibres prepared at a draw ratio of 50. SEM of the extrudates reveals that the spherical domains are elongated at the entrance of the capillary giving rise to a microfibrillar morphology which is related to the excellent rheological and mechanical properties of the blends. 相似文献

To extend the capabilities of the existing spectroscopic methods of investigation and diagnostics of gaseous media, we consider a macroscopic effect of an increase in the rate of spontaneous emission, which results in the transition of a considerable part of excited molecules to lower-lying optically accessible states with light pulse emission along the direction of propagation of the exciting laser radiation. Conditions are studied under which an electron beam and a volume discharge with a subnanosecond rise time of a voltage pulse
are produced in air under atmospheric pressure. It is shown that the electron beam appears in a gas-filled diode at the front
of the voltage pulse in ∼0.5 ns, has a half-intensity duration of ≤0.4 ns and an average electron energy of ∼0.6 of the voltage
across the gas-filled diode, and terminates when the voltage across the gap reaches its maximum value. The electron beam with
an average electron energy of 60 to 80 keV and a current amplitude of ≥70 A is obtained. It is assumed that the electron beam
is formed from electrons produced in the gap due to gas ionization by fast electrons when the intensity of the field between
the front of the expanding plasma cloud and the anode reaches its critical value. A nanosecond volume discharge with a specific
power input of ≥400 MW/cm3, a density of the discharge current at the anode of up to 3 kA/cm2, and specific energy deposition of ∼1 J/cm3 over 3 to 5 ns is created. 相似文献

For any self-adjoint realization S of a singular Sturm-Liouville equation on an interval (a,b) with limit-circle endpoints, we construct a family of self-adjoint realizations S r ,r ∈ (0,∞), of this equation on subintervals (a r ,b r ) of (a,b) such that every eigenvalue of S is the limit of a continuous eigenvalue branch of this family. Of particular interest are the cases when at least one endpoint is oscillatory or the leading coefficient function changes sign. In these cases, we show that the index determining each continuous eigenvalue branch has an infinite number of jump discontinuities and give an explicit characterization of these discontinuities. 相似文献

Novel oscillatory flow results of phenoxy/organoclay nanocomposites are analysed considering the blocking effect of nanostructure on polymer chain mobility. The modification provoked by this hindering effect on loss tangent spectrum is investigated. The study of three different systems, involving a pristine montmorillonite and two montmorillonites modified with one alkyl tail and two alkyl tails, respectively, leads to conclude that polymer-alkyl repulsive interactions play the most important role in the chain mobility obstruction process.
