We study the Case sum rules, especially C 0 , for general Jacobi matrices. We establish situations where the sum rule is valid. Applications include an extension of Shohats theorem to cases with an infinite point spectrum and a proof that if lim n(a n –1)= and lim nb n = exist and 2<||, then the Szeg condition fails. Monoamine oxidases (MAOs) are an important group of enzymes involved in the degradation of neurotransmitters and their imbalanced mode of action may lead to the development of various neuropsychiatric or neurodegenerative disorders. In this work, we report the results of an in-depth computational study in which we performed a static and a dynamic analysis of a series of substituted β-carboline natural products, found mainly in roasted coffee and tobacco smoke, that bind to the active site of the MAO-A isoform. By applying molecular docking in conjunction with structure-based pharmacophores and molecular dynamics simulations coupled with dynamic pharmacophores, we extensively investigated the geometric aspects of MAO-A binding. To gain insight into the energetics of binding, we used the linear interaction energy (LIE) method and determined the key anchors that allow productive β-carboline binding to MAO-A. The results presented herein could be applied in the rational structure-based design and optimization of β-carbolines towards preclinical candidates that would target the MAO-A enzyme and would be applicable especially in the treatment of mental disorders such as depression.  相似文献

Pentagonal-bipyramidal isothiocyanato Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes with condensation product of 2,6-diacetylpyridine and trimethylammoniumacetohydrazide (Girard’s T reagent) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR and UV–vis spectra, molar conductivity, and magnetic susceptibility. Crystal structures of the Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes were also determined. Antimicrobial activities of the ligand and metal complexes were examined.  相似文献

Top–down shotgun lipidomics relies on direct infusion of total lipid extracts into a high‐resolution tandem mass spectrometer and implies that individual lipids are recognized by their accurately determined m/z. Lipid ionization efficiency and detection specificity strongly depend on the acquisition polarity, and therefore it is beneficial to analyze lipid mixtures in both positive and negative modes. Hybrid LTQ Orbitrap mass spectrometers are widely applied in top–down lipidomics; however, rapid polarity switching was previously unfeasible because of the severe and immediate degradation of mass accuracy. Here, we report on a method to rapidly acquire high‐resolution spectra in both polarity modes with sub‐ppm mass accuracy and demonstrate that it not only simplifies and accelerates shotgun lipidomics analyses but also improves the lipidome coverage because more lipid classes and more individual species within each class are recognized. In this way, shotgun analysis of total lipid extracts of human blood plasma enabled to quantify 222 species from 15 major lipid classes within 7 min acquisition cycle. The enantiomeric resolution and the elution order of (+/-)-trans-7,8-dihydrodiols of benzo[a]pyrene and its 6-fluoro and 6-bromo derivatives were analyzed on three polysaccharide-based columns: Daicel Chiralcel CA-I (cellulose triacetate), OF, and OG [cellulose tris(4-chloro- and 4-methylphenylcarbamate)]. For comparison, the separation of (+/-)-1,1'-bi-2-naphthol was evaluated on the OG and OF columns. Possibly similar interactions of (S)-1,1'-bi-2-naphthol and (7S,8S)-isomers of 6-halo-7,8-dihydroxy-7,8-dihydrobenzo[a]pyrene with the chiral sorbent are suggested.  相似文献

Creatinine is an important diagnostic marker and is also used as a standardization tool for the quantitative evaluation of exogenous/endogenous substances in urine. This study aimed at evaluating and comparing three analytical approaches, based on hyphenations of different separation [two-dimensional capillary isotachophoresis (CITP–CITP), capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE), ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC)] and detection [conductivity (CD), ultraviolet (UV), tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS)] techniques, for their ability to provide reliable clinical data along with their suitability for the routine clinical use (cost, simplicity, sample throughput). The developed UHPLC–MS/MS, CITP–CITP–CD, and CZE–UV methods were characterized by favorable performance parameters, such as linearity (r ˃ 0.99), precision (relative standard deviation, 0.22–2.97% for the creatinine position in analytical profiles), and recovery (87.1–115.1%). Clinical data, obtained from the analysis of 24 human urine samples by a reference enzymatic method, were comparable with those obtained by the tested methods (Passing–Bablok regression and Bland–Altman analysis), approving their usefulness for the routine clinical use. In this context, the UHPLC–MS/MS method provides benefits of enhanced orthogonality/accuracy and high sample throughput (threefold shorter total analysis times than the CE methods), whereas advantages of the CE methods for routine labs are simplicity and low cost of both the instrumentation and measurements.  相似文献

Within classes of isomeric benzenoid hydrocarbons various Kekulé- and Clar-structure-based parameters (Kekulé structure count, Clar cover count, Herndon number, ZhangZhang polynomial) are all mutually correlated. This explains why both the total π-electron energy (E), the Dewar resonance energy (DRE), and the topological resonance energy (TRE) are well correlated with all these parameters. Nevertheless, there exists an optimal value of the variable of the ZhangZhang polynomial for which it yields the best results. This optimal value is negative-valued for E, around zero for TRE, and positive-valued for DRE. A somewhat surprising result is that TRE and DRE considerably differ in their dependence on Kekulé- and Clar-structure-based parameters.  相似文献

Summary Syntheses of 1-methylimidazo[1,2-c]quinazolinium iodide (3) and 1-methylimidazo[2,1-f]pyrido[3,2-d]pyrimidinium iodide (4) are described. These tricyclic compounds react with nucleophiles derived from active methylene compounds to give the corresponding open-chain enamines.

Zusammenfassung Synthesen von 1-Methylimidazo[1,2-c]chinazoliniumjodid (3) und 1-Methylimidazo[2,1-f]pyrido[3,2-d]pyrimidiniumjodid (4) werden beschrieben. Diese tricyclischen Verbindungen reagieren mit einigen Carbanionen aus Verbindungen mit reaktiven Methylengruppen, wobei die offenkettigen Enamine entstehen.
