Contribution of Rhodamine B doping on the structural and optical properties of PVA is investigated here. With increasing doping wt%, Raman spectra show the disappearance of main PVA peaks revealing a decrease in crystallinity and breaking of bonds, which also results in modified surface morphology as seen from corresponding SEM measurements. Optical absorption measurements show the possibility of both direct and indirect transitions, also indicating strong modifications in optical properties as a result of doping fluorescent dye in the polymer host.  相似文献

Chloro‐substituted phenothiazines and phenoxazines were successfully derivatized with phenylboronic and styrylboronic acids using Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction catalyzed by Pd(0)/XPhos for the first time in good yields. The protocol employed 4 mol% Pd and 7 mol% XPhos with K3PO4 in acetonitrile at 80°C. The reaction condition is compatible with carbonyl and unprotected N–H groups in substrates. Structural assignments were established by combined spectroscopic (UV, IR, 1H, and 13C NMR), MS, and elemental analytical data.  相似文献

New halogen-containing tetrametallic aluminium alkoxides of formula [Al{(mu-OEt)2AlMeCl}3] ( 2-cis; 2-trans), and [Al{(mu-OEt)2AlBr2}3] ( 4), have been synthesized by combining Al(OEt)3 and Me2AlCl (for 2) or EtAlBr2 (for 4). They were fully characterized by (1H, 27Al) NMR, IR, mp, elemental analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffractometry. The chloride analogue of 4, [Al{(mu-OEt)2AlCl2}3] ( 3), prepared previously using a different route, was also prepared here by combining Al(OEt)3 and EtAlCl2.  相似文献

Proposed methods for detecting circulatory system disease include targeting ultrasound contrast agents to inflammatory markers on vascular endothelial cells. For antibody-based therapies, soluble forms of the targeted adhesion proteins of the immunoglobulin superfamily (IgSF) reduce adhesion yet were left unaccounted in prior reports. Microspheres labeled simply with a maximum level of antibodies can reduce the diagnostic sensitivity by adhering to proteins expressed normally at a low level, while sparsely coated particles may be rendered ineffective by circulating soluble forms of the targeted proteins. A new microdevice technique is applied to simultaneously measure the adhesion profile to a series of IgSF-protein-coated surfaces. In this investigation, we quantify the in vitro binding characteristics of 5-μm microspheres to oriented intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) protein-coated surfaces in the presence of human serum at physiological concentrations. Defined regions of a slide were coated with recombinant chimeric Fc-human ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 in variable ratios but constant total concentration. Monoclonal human anti-ICAM-1 or anti-VCAM-1 antibodies in competition with non-binding mouse anti-rabbit antibodies coat the microsphere surface at a constant surface density with variable yet controlled surface activities. Using multiple slide surface IgSF protein and microsphere antibody concentrations, an adhesion profile was developed for the microspheres with and without IgSF proteins from human serum, which demonstrated that exposure to serum reduced microsphere binding, on average, more than 50% compared to the no-serum condition.. The serum effects were limited to antibodies on the microsphere, since binding inhibition was reversed after rinsing serum from the system and fresh antibody-coated microspheres were introduced. This analysis quantifies the binding effects of soluble IgSF proteins from human serum on antibody-based targeted ultrasound detection and drug delivery methods.  相似文献

The 25% niobium substituted crystalline titanosilicate with the composition Na1.5Nb0.5Ti1.5O3SiO4·2H2O (Nb-TS) was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Its selectivity for radioactive 137Cs and 89Sr was compared with the TS, Na2Ti2O3SiO4·2H2O, having sitinakite topology. The Nb-TS shows significantly higher uptake value for 137Cs but lower for 89Sr than the TS. To investigate the origin of selectivity, the ion exchanged Cs+ and Sr2+ forms with the composition, CsxNaHyNb0.5Ti1.5O3SiO4·zH2O (x=0.1, 0.2 and 0.3, x+y=0.5 and z=1-2) and Sr0.2Na0.6H0.5Nb0.5Ti1.5O3SiO4·H2O, respectively, were structurally characterized from the X-ray powder diffraction data using the Rietveld refinement technique. Simultaneously the kinetics of 137Cs and 89Sr uptake was investigated for the NbV free and doped samples. While the Cs+ and Sr2+ exchanged form of Nb-TS and the Cs+ exchanged form of TS retain the symmetry of the parent compound, the Sr2+ exchanged form of TS undergoes a symmetry change. The differences in the uptake of Cs+ and Sr2+ result from the different coordination environments of cesium and strontium in the eight-ring channel, that result from various hydration sites in the tunnel. The origin of selectivity appears to arise from the higher coordination number of cesium or strontium. Other effects due to NbV substitution are reflected in the increase of both, the a- and c-dimensions and thus the unit cell volume, and the population of water vs. Na+ in the channel to charge-balance the Nb5+↔Ti4+ substitution.  相似文献

Macrocyclic Schiff base ligand through the condensation of 1,3-dicarbonyl-phenyl-dihydrazide with 4,4′-difluorobenzil and its Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) metal complexes have been synthesized. The ligand and metal complexes were characterized by analytical and physicochemical methods. An octahedral geometry arising from coordination of N2O2 donor atoms from the macrocyclic framework has been proposed for all metal complexes. Synthesized ligand and metal complexes were investigated for in vitro antibacterial and antioxidant activity. Complex [Ni(C22H14N4F2O2)(OCOCH3)2] has shown remarkable antibacterial activity (Minimum inhibitory concentration 8–16?μg/ml) comparable to commercial antibiotic Ciprofloxacin. Anticancer activity of synthesized compounds against Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC4), head and neck cancer cell line has also been studied at different concentrations and at different time points. Complexes [Co(C22H14N4F2O2)(NO3)2] and [Cu(C22H14N4F2O2)(OCOCH3)2] have shown remarkable anticancer results (IC50 31.1 and 43.1?μM) against the tested cell line in concentration dependent manner. Molecular docking studies were carried out to find the binding mode of the synthesized macrocyclic Schiff base ligand to Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) Kinase (PDB ID: 1M17).  相似文献

Experimental procedures were investigated to improve the efflux of biomolecule pyrolyzates from quartz tube pyrolysis under atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometry conditions. Heating regimes, airflows, and ion focusing parameters were optimized to increase the informative mass spectral signals generated from the pyrolysis of Gram-positive bacterial spores and vegetative cells. Dipicolinic acid (DPA) is found in 5-15% by weight in Gram-positive Bacillus spores, and the parameter optimization procedures provided an intense mass spectral signature of the m/z 168 protonated DPA molecule with a minimization of pyrolytic and ionization fragments. Moreover, mass spectral information from the optimization protocols yielded peaks and mass patterns characteristic of DNA and RNA nitrogen bases, protein diketopiperazines, and amino sugars.  相似文献
