The standard (p° = 0.1 MPa) molar energies of combustion of 2-furancarbonitrile, 2-acetylfuran, and 3-furaldehyde were measured by static bomb combustion calorimetry; the Calvet high-temperature microcalorimetry was used to measure the enthalpies of vaporization of these liquid compounds. The standard molar enthalpies of formation of the three compounds, in the gaseous phase, at T = 298.15 K, have been derived from the corresponding standard molar enthalpies of formation in the liquid phase and the standard molar enthalpies of phase transition, as (106.8 ± 1.1) kJ · mol?1, ?(207.4 ± 1.3) kJ · mol?1, and ?(151.9 ± 1.1) kJ · mol?1, for 2-furancarbonitrile, 2-acetylfuran, and 3-furaldehyde, respectively.Standard molar enthalpies of formation are discussed in terms of the isomerization ortho meta. Enthalpic increment values of the introduction of the functional groups –CN, –CHO, and –COCH3 were also compared with some other heterocycles; i.e. thiophene and pyridine. 相似文献
In the last years, there has been an increasing interest
in evaluating possible relations between fatty acid (FA) patterns and the risk for chronic diseases. Due to the long life span (120 days) of red blood cells (RBCs), their FA profile reflects a longer term dietary intake and was recently suggested to be used as an appropriate biomarker to investigate correlations between FA metabolism and diseases. Therefore, the aim of this work was to develop and validate a simple and fast methodology for the quantification of a broad range of FAs in RBCs using gas chromatography with flame ionization detector, as a more common and affordable equipment suitable for biomedical and nutritional studies including a large number of samples. For this purpose, different sample preparation protocols were tested and compared, including a classic two-step method (Folch method) with modifications and different one-step methods, in which lipid extraction and derivatization were performed simultaneously. For the one-step methods, different methylation periods and the inclusion of a saponification reaction were evaluated. Differences in absolute FA concentrations were observed among the tested methods, in particular for some metabolically relevant FAs such as trans elaidic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid. The one-step method with saponification and 60 min of methylation time was selected since it allowed the identification of a higher number of FAs, and was further submitted to in-house validation. The proposed methodology provides a simple, fast and accurate tool to quantitatively analyse FAs in human RBCs, useful for clinical and nutritional studies.
The adhesive and rheological properties of model acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) films prepared from high solid emulsions with different particle sizes and distributions have been investigated with a customized probe tack apparatus. For each emulsion, the monomer composition and gel content were kept constant but different average particle sizes and distributions were used. Adhesive films 100 microm thick were then prepared from these emulsions and their rheological properties in the linear regime and adhesive properties were systematically characterized. Surprisingly, both the rheological and adhesive properties were found to be very dependent on the initial latex particle size distribution. A series of experiments were carried out to assess the adhesive properties of films made from blends of small- and large-particle-size latexes. Using the probe tack test, a maximum in adhesion energy of the dry films was found for 60% of small particles in the blend, a composition clearly different from that giving a minimum viscosity of the latex implying that optimizing for properties may not be equivalent to optimizing for processing in these adhesive applications. Finally, the adhesive properties of two multimodal latexes with different particle size distributions were investigated. Both gave significantly higher adhesion energies and clear evidence of a fibrillar detachment process. This important result suggests that the spatial distribution of gel domains in the dry film and the molecular connectivity between those gel domains also play an important role in controlling its adhesive properties. 相似文献
The effects of Kr post-bombardment on carbonitrides produced by N-implantation in a low carbon steel are studied by means of conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy, nuclear reaction analysis and Rutherford backscattering technique. The results show two main features: dissolution and reprecipitation of the produced carbonitrides and modification of the thermal behaviour of the precipitates. Recently we have performed similar experiments bombarding samples of the same steel with He and Ar. Comparison of the experiments shows that irradiation with Ar or Kr ions provides the best retention of carbonitrides at 450° C. On the other hand irradiation with Kr ions to the same dpa level is most effective in producing the dissolution and reprecipitation process. 相似文献
The crude ethanol extracts from the leaves of three Croton hemiargyrus hemiargyreus plants are fractionated by thin-layer chromatography, yielding five fractions. The fractions and the crude extract are analyzed by high-temperature high-resolution gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (HT-HRGC-MS). Several natural products, including thermolabile components, can be characterized directly in the samples, such as alkaloids, terpenes, flavonoids, acids, alcohols, etc. The cold on-column technique proves to be appropriate for the injection of these thermolabile compounds. HT-HRGC-MS is shown to be a valuable tool and an alternative technique to classical phytochemical procedures for the simple and fast routine analysis of natural products in crude extracts. 相似文献

We present the results of a search for neutral Higgs bosons produced in association with b quarks in pp-->bb(phi)-->bbb final states with 91+/-7 pb(-1) of pp collisions at sqrt[s] = 1.8 TeV recorded by the Collider Detector at Fermilab. We find no evidence of such a signal and the data are interpreted in the context of the neutral Higgs sector of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model. With basic parameter choices for the supersymmetric scale and the stop-quark mixing, we derive 95% C.L. lower mass limits for neutral Higgs bosons for tan(beta) values in excess of 35. 相似文献
We report a study of the decays B0 --> J/psiK(*)0pi(+)pi(-), which involve the creation of a uu or dd quark pair in addition to a b -->c(cs) decay. The data sample consists of 110 pb(-1) of pp collisions at square root[s] = 1.8 TeV collected by the CDF detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider during 1992-1995. We measure the branching fractions to be B(B0 --> J/psiK(*0)pi(+)pi(-)) = (6.6 +/- 1.9 +/- 1.1)x10(-4) and B(B0 --> J/psiK0pi(+)pi(-)) = (10.3 +/- 3.3 +/- 1.5)x10(-4). Evidence is seen for contributions from psi(2S)K(*)0, J/psiK0rho(0), J/psiK(*+)pi(-), and J/psiK1(1270). 相似文献
