An investigation into the comparative reactivity of simple β-lactones and β-thiolactones toward a thiol and a primary amine is reported. A simple 3-mercaptomethyl-2-oxetanone is found to undergo rearrangement in the presence of aqueous base to give the corresponding thietane-3-carboxylic acid rather than the 3-hydroxymethyl-2-thietanone. Implications for the use of β-thiolactones in bioorganic and medicinal chemistry are discussed.  相似文献

We derive asymptotics for the quenched probability that a critical branching Brownian motion killed at a small rate ε in Poissonian obstacles exits from a large domain. Results are formulated in terms of the solution to a semilinear partial differential equation with singular boundary conditions. The proofs depend on a quenched homogenization theorem for branching Brownian motion among soft obstacles.  相似文献

Herein, we describe a very straightforward and metal free method for the synthesis of benzazepinones through an intramolecular cyclization. This involves an ortho‐vinyl‐anilino‐amide as starting material which is converted to a keteniminium intermediate that spontaneously cyclize to form a 7‐membered ring iminium. Under slightly basic hydrolysis conditions, this latter is ultimately converted to the desired benzazepinone. Control experiments on the electron density of the nitrogen constituting the aniline were performed to support our proposed mechanism and rationalize the selectivity of the reaction.  相似文献

Small fiber peripheral neuropathy is an early complication of diabetes. Electric skin response to some stimulus, as electrochemical skin conductance ECS, is a promising route in the early follow‐up of such diseases. It is related to sweat gland innervations and their permeability to chlorides and protons; it is non‐invasive, quantitative and reproducible. In routine clinical use, it could allow to better adapt the treatments and improve the adhesion for preventing pathological progress, thus reducing colossal healthcare costs. To optimize the measurements and understand the electrochemical behavior of electrodes, an original electrolytic cell was designed in lab scale. Thereby, an electrolyte is chosen to mimic sweat composition. For achieving currents range of ESC in vivo measurements, the original idea was to play on electrolyte viscosity by adding sucrose. In this paper, the novel electrolytic lab cell is presented with its limiting kinetics processes. A model of chloride migration to the anode and global electric model dedicated to the cell are proposed. Cell parameters are thoroughly studied, e. g. the resistance, which is equivalent to the inverse of ESC, by exploiting the models and through in vitro experiments, with protocols focusing on reproducibility. This original approach establishes, inter alia, an important result: the resistance is accurately retrieved using linear voltammetry, whereas single voltage measurement fails notably and is, therefore, unsatisfactory.  相似文献

This paper proposes a new methodology to model uncertainties associated with functional random variables. This methodology allows to deal simultaneously with several dependent functional variables and to address the specific case where these variables are linked to a vectorial variable, called covariate. In this case, the proposed uncertainty modelling methodology has two objectives: to retain both the most important features of the functional variables and their features which are the most correlated to the covariate. This methodology is composed of two steps. First, the functional variables are decomposed on a functional basis. To deal simultaneously with several dependent functional variables, a Simultaneous Partial Least Squares algorithm is proposed to estimate this basis. Second, the joint probability density function of the coefficients selected in the decomposition is modelled by a Gaussian mixture model. A new sparse method based on a Lasso penalization algorithm is proposed to estimate the Gaussian mixture model parameters and reduce their number. Several criteria are introduced to assess the methodology performance: its ability to approximate the functional variables probability distribution, their dependence structure and their features which explain the covariate. Finally, the whole methodology is applied on a simulated example and on a nuclear reliability test case.  相似文献

Herein, we describe a high yielding approach towards the synthesis of 3-amino-indoles and -benzofurans through 6π-electrocyclization. This was made possible by taking advantage of the high reactivity of keteniminium salts, formed in-situ by treating with triflic anhydride and 2-fluoropyridine amides bearing at the α-position either an aniline or a phenoxy moiety. These mild conditions, on top of furnishing rapidly the 3-aminobenzoheteroles, allow the tolerance of various functional groups. Control experiments were carried out to highlight that the keteniminium is, indeed, in most cases, the reactive intermediate and conformational preferences of such species were investigated through a DFT study.  相似文献

Sinapoyl malate is a natural plant sunscreen molecule which protects leaves from harmful ultraviolet radiation. Here, the ultrafast dynamics of three sinapoyl malate derivatives, sinapoyl L-dimethyl malate, sinapoyl L-diethyl malate and sinapoyl L-di-t-butyl malate, have been studied using transient electronic absorption spectroscopy, in a dioxane and methanol solvent environment to investigate how well preserved these dynamics remain with increasing molecular complexity. In all cases it was found that, upon photoexcitation, deactivation occurs via a trans-cis isomerisation pathway within ∼20–30 ps. This cis-photoproduct, formed during photodeactivation, is stable and longed-lived for all molecules in both solvents. The incredible levels of conservation of the isomerisation pathway with increased molecular complexity demonstrate the efficacy of these molecules as ultraviolet photoprotectors, even in strongly perturbing solvents. As such, we suggest these molecules might be well-suited for augmentations to further improve their photoprotective efficacy or chemical compatibility with other components of sunscreen mixtures, whilst conserving their underlying photodynamic properties.  相似文献

The quality of the cell culture media used in biopharmaceutical manufacturing is a crucial factor affecting bioprocess performance and the quality of the final product. Due to their complex composition these media are inherently unstable, and significant compositional variations can occur particularly when in the prepared liquid state. For example photo-degradation of cell culture media can have adverse effects on cell viability and thus process performance. There is therefore, from quality control, quality assurance and process management view points, an urgent demand for the development of rapid and inexpensive tools for the stability monitoring of these complex mixtures. Spectroscopic methods, based on fluorescence or Raman measurements, have now become viable alternatives to more time-consuming and expensive (on a unit analysis cost) chromatographic and/or mass spectrometry based methods for routine analysis of media. Here we demonstrate the application of surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy for the simple, fast, analysis of cell culture media degradation. Once stringent reproducibility controls are implemented, chemometric data analysis methods can then be used to rapidly monitor the compositional changes in chemically defined media. SERS shows clearly that even when media are stored at low temperature (2–8 °C) and in the dark, significant chemical changes occur, particularly with regard to cysteine/cystine concentration.  相似文献

The one-step synthesis and characterization of a new and robust titanium-based metal–organic framework, ACM-1 , is reported. In this structure, which is based on infinite Ti−O chains and 4,4′,4′′,4′′′-(pyrene-1,3,6,8-tetrayl) tetrabenzoic acid as a photosensitizer ligand, the combination of highly mobile photogenerated electrons and a strong hole localization at the organic linker results in large charge-separation lifetimes. The suitable energies for band gap and conduction band minimum (CBM) offer great potential for a wide range of photocatalytic reactions, from hydrogen evolution to the selective oxidation of organic substrates.  相似文献
