A novel silsesquioxane material was synthetized and used as a stabilizing agent for silver nanoparticles. This hybrid material was characterized by FTIR, 29Si CP‐MAS NMR, 13C DEPT 135° NMR and TGA techniques and the silver nanoparticles were characterized from DLS, UV‐Vis spectroscopy, zeta‐potential, TEM and SAXS results. The silver nanoparticles obtained were spherical in shape with a diameter of 3.74 nm. The nanomaterial was successfully applied in the modification of a glassy carbon electrode and a pronounced current response was obtained in the determination of the biomarker 4‐nitrophenol. Quantum chemical calculations, using density functional theory, were also performed in order to evaluate the redox properties of the analyte. Two different linear ranges were obtained applying optimal square wave voltammetry conditions. The reduction peak currents obtained were linear for 4‐NP concentrations in the ranges of 0.29 to 1.50 μmol L?1 (Ed=?0.6 V and td=20 s) and 2.75 to 31.5 μmol L?1, with a theoretical (signal to noise=3) limit of detection of 0.05 μmol L?1 (td=20 s). The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of 4‐NP in synthetic serum samples at different levels of 4‐NP with a recovery range of 94–101 %. Validation was performed using a comparative method through the capillary electrophoresis (CE) technique.  相似文献

A library of 64 phytosphingolipid analogues resulting from the systematic variation of the C1, C3, C4, and the N-acyl moiety of phytosphingosine (PHS) has been prepared from common scaffolds derived from the chiral pool and Sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation reactions. Library members have been evaluated as growth inhibitors of the yeast Saccaromyces cerevisiae. In addition, 1-amino-N-pivaloyl PHS analogues were also tested as IPC synthase inhibitors, in comparison with the natural product khafrefungin.  相似文献

The size of droplets in emulsions is important in many industrial, biological, and environmental systems, as it determines the stability, rheology, and area available in the emulsion for physical or chemical processes that occur at the interface. While the balance of fluid inertia and surface tension in determining droplet size under turbulent mixing in the inertial subrange has been well established, the classical scaling prediction by Shinnar half a century ago of the dependence of droplet size on the viscosity of the continuous phase in the viscous subrange has not been clearly validated in experiment. By employing extremely stable suspensions of highly viscous oils as the continuous phase and using a particle video microscope (PVM) probe and a focused beam reflectance method (FBRM) probe, we report measurements spanning 2 orders of magnitude in the continuous phase viscosity for the size of droplets in water-in-oil emulsions. The wide range in measurements allowed identification of a scaling regime of droplet size proportional to the inverse square root of the viscosity, consistent with the viscous subrange theory of Shinnar. A single curve for droplet size based on the Reynolds and Weber numbers is shown to accurately predict droplet size for a range of shear rates, mixing geometries, interfacial tensions, and viscosities. Viscous subrange control of droplet size is shown to be important for high viscous shear stresses, i.e., very high shear rates, as is desirable or found in many industrial or natural processes, or very high viscosities, as is the case in the present study.  相似文献

A molecular-diversity-oriented approach for the preparation of bicyclic sp(2)-iminosugar glycomimetics related to nojirimycin and galactonojirimycin is reported. The synthetic strategy takes advantage of the ability of endocyclic pseudoamide-type atoms in five-membered cyclic iso(thio)ureas and guanidines to undergo intramolecular nucleophilic addition to the masked carbonyl group of monosaccharides. The stereochemistry of the resulting hemiaminal stereocenter is governed by the anomeric effect, with a large preference for the axial (pseudo-α) orientation. A library of compounds differing in the stereochemistry at the position equivalent to C-4 in monosaccharides (D-gluco and D-galacto), the heterocyclic core (cyclic isourea, isothiourea or guanidine) and the nature of the exocyclic nitrogen substituent (apolar, polar, linear or branched) has been thus prepared and the glycosidase inhibitory activity evaluated against commercial glycosidases. Compounds bearing lipophilic substituents behaved as potent and very selective inhibitors of β-glucosidases. They further proved to be good competitive inhibitors of the recombinant human β-glucocerebrosidase (imiglucerase) used in enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) for Gaucher disease. The potential of these compounds as pharmacological chaperones was assessed by measuring their ability to inhibit thermal-induced denaturation of the enzyme in comparison with N-nonyl-1-deoxynojirimycin (NNDNJ). The results indicated that amphiphilic sp(2)-iminosugars within this series are more efficient than NNDNJ at stabilizing β-glucocerebrosidase and have a strong potential in pharmacological chaperone (PC) and ERT-PC combined therapies.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a representative a priori unstable Hamiltonian system with 2+1/2 degrees of freedom and we apply the geometric mechanism for diffusion introduced in [A. Delshams, R. de la Llave, T.M. Seara, A geometric mechanism for diffusion in Hamiltonian systems overcoming the large gap problem: heuristics and rigorous verification on a model, Mem. Amer. Math. Soc. 179 (844) (2006), viii + 141 pp.], and generalized in [A. Delshams, G. Huguet, Geography of resonances and Arnold diffusion in a priori unstable Hamiltonian systems, Nonlinearity 22 (8) (2009) 1997-2077]. We provide explicit, concrete and easily verifiable conditions for the existence of diffusing orbits.The simplification of the hypotheses allows us to perform the straightforward computations along the proof and present the geometric mechanism of diffusion in an easily understandable way. In particular, we fully describe the construction of the scattering map and the combination of two types of dynamics on a normally hyperbolic invariant manifold.  相似文献

Diphenyl(3‐methyl‐2‐indolyl)phosphine (C9H8NPPh2, 1 ) gives stable dimeric palladium(II) complexes that contain the phosphine in P,N‐bridging coordination mode. On treating 1 with [Pd(O2CCH3)2], the new complexes [Pd(μ‐C9H7NPPh2)(NCCH3)]2 ( 2 ) or [Pd(μ‐C9H7NPPh2)(μ‐O2CCH3)]2 ( 3 ) were isolated, depending on the solvent used, acetonitrile or toluene, respectively. Further reaction of 3 with the ammonium salt of 1 led to the substitution of one carboxylate ligand to afford [Pd(μ‐C9H7NPPh2)3(μ‐O2CCH3)] ( 4 ), in which the bimetallic unit is bonded by three C9H7NPPh2? moieties and one carboxylate group. Using this methodology, [Pd2(μ‐C6H4PPh2)2(μ‐C9H7NPPh2)(μ‐O2CCX3)] (X=H ( 7 ); X=F ( 8 )) were synthesised from the ortho‐metalated compounds [Pd(C6H4PPh2)(μ‐O2CCX3)]2 (X=H ( 5 ); X=F ( 6 )). Complexes 3 , 4 , 7 , and 8 have been found to be active in the catalytic β‐boration of α,β‐unsaturated esters and ketones under mild reaction conditions. Hindrance of the carbonyl moiety has an influence on the reaction rate, but quantitative conversion was achieved in many cases. More remarkably, when aryl bromides were added to the reaction media, complex 7 induced a highly successful consecutive β‐boration/cross‐coupling reaction with dimethyl acrylamide as the substrate (99 % conversion, 89 % isolated yield).  相似文献

The surface tension, vapor-liquid equilibrium densities, and equilibrium pressure for common water models were calculated using molecular dynamics simulations over temperatures ranging from the melting to the critical points. The TIP4P/2005 and TIP4P-i models produced better values for the surface tension than the other water models. We also examined the correlation of the data to scaling temperatures based on the critical and melting temperatures. The reduced temperature (T/T(c)) gives consistent equilibrium densities and pressure, and the shifted temperature T + (T(c, exp) - T(c, sim)) gives consistent surface tension among all models considered in this study. The modified fixed charge model which has the same Lennard-Jones parameters as the TIP4P-FQ model but uses an adjustable molecular dipole moment is also simulated to find the differences in the vapor-liquid coexistence properties between fixed and fluctuating charge models. The TIP4P-FQ model (2.72 Debye) gives the best estimate of the experimental surface tension. The equilibrium vapor density and pressure are unaffected by changes in the dipole moment as well as the surface tension and liquid density.  相似文献

The splitting of separatrices of hyperbolic fixed points for exact symplectic maps of n degrees of freedom is considered. The non-degenerate critical points of a real-valued function (called the Melnikov potential) are associated to transverse homoclinic orbits and an asymptotic expression for the symplectic area between homoclinic orbits is given. Moreover, if the unperturbed invariant manifolds are completely doubled, it is shown that there exist, in general, at least $4$ primary homoclinic orbits (4n in antisymmetric maps). Both lower bounds are optimal. Two examples are presented: a 2n-dimensional central standard-like map and the Hamiltonian map associated to a magnetized spherical pendulum. Several topics are studied about these examples: existence of splitting, explicit computations of Melnikov potentials, transverse homoclinic orbits, exponentially small splitting, etc. Received: 6 June 1996 / Accepted: 16 April 1997  相似文献
