Binary As–Se glasses with different amounts of As content have been prepared and scanned with different heating rates (3 ≤ ψ ≤ 48 K min−1) over temperatures ranging from 300 to 450 K. Both the glass transition temperature (Tgl) and the temperature peak of crystallization (Tpc) increase as a function of As and/or the ψ values. A good correlation between Tgl and Tpc has been investigated. The observed increase in Tgl and Tpc by increasing the ψ values or as a function of As is well discussed in accordance with Lasocka’s relationship and using the average coordination number Acn, the viscosity at glass transition μ(Tgl) and the overall mean bond energy E. The glass transition Egl and crystallization activation energies (Egl and Epc) were determined based on the changes in Tgl and Tpc values due to the heating rate (ψ). The increase in the values of Egl and Epc with increasing the As content is expected due to the increase in Tgl and Tpc values. The kinetic exponent n and the crystal dimensionality m have been determined.
Lanthanide complexes are of increasing importance in cancer diagnosis and therapy. In the present study 1:1 and 1:3 solid complexes of La (III)–5-FU (5-fluorouracil) were prepared and characterized. In solution, the formation of 1:1 La (III) and Eu (III) complexes enabled the enhancement of 5-FU's effectiveness. Binding constants of the 1:1 complexes of both metals were estimated using spectrophotometry and HPLC with fluorescence detection methods. The thermodynamic parameters ΔG ° , ΔH ° and ΔS ° were calculated using differential scanning calorimetry. Evaluation of the cytotoxic activity of the 1:1 La (III)- and Eu (III)–5-FU complexes was performed through two methodologies, trypan blue for cell viability where La (III)- and Eu (III)–5-FU complexes were found to have 52,000 and 80,000 dead cells, respectively, and via flow cytometric analysis to measure the apoptotic values, which were found to be 59.87 and 86.86% respectively. 相似文献
Melamine salt of pentaerythritol phosphate kaolin (MPPK) was synthesized by the reaction of pentaerythritol phosphate with kaolin (K) and melamine. The structure of MPPK was confirmed by EDXS, 1H NMR, FTIR, and XRD. MPPK was blended with polypropylene (PP) at different loading levels. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) results showed that MPPK improved the thermal stability of PP at high temperatures in all PP composites. Vertical burning rate test manifested that PP composites can achieve V0 at 20% and 25% MPPK loading levels. Cone calorimeter data exhibited that addition of 25% MPPK to PP reduced peak of heat release rate (pHRR) and total heat release (THR) by 86% and 76% and increased the char residue after test to 67%. The results of PP/25% MPPK composite were compared with the data obtained from PP containing 25% K and 25% of traditional intumescent flame retardant composed of melamine phosphate (MP), pentaerythritol (PE), and K. The outcomes indicated that MPPK was more efficient in flame retardancy than the other systems. The digital photographs and SEM images for char residue demonstrated that MPPK succeeded in forming cellular and coherent char layer on the PP surface. The main advantage of adding 25% MPPK to PP was its ability to preserve nearly the inner half of the sample without burning after cone calorimeter test. 相似文献
Reaction of pyrimidinylacetic acid 2 with different electrophilic and nucleophilic reagents gave annulated pyrimidine derivatives 3‐11 , respectively. Compound 3 was transformed to pyrimidinylacetyl azide 12 , which upon heterocyclization with active methylene compounds, acidic and basic reagents furnished functionally substituted heteroaromatic compounds 13‐21 , respectively. The antimicrobial activity of some synthesized compounds was investigated. The structures of the synthesized derivatives were elucidated by elemental and spectral analyses. 相似文献
The unsaturated cyclic [M3(dppm)3(CO)](2+) clusters (M = Pt, Pd; dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2; such as PF6(-) salt) exhibit a cavity formed by the six dppm-phenyl groups placed like a picket fence above the unsaturated triangular M3 dicationic center. Electrostatic interactions of the M(3+) units inside this cavity with the carboxylate anion RCO2(-) [R = tetraphenylporphyrinatozinc(II), ZnTPP; p-phenyltritolylporphyrinatozinc(II), ZnTTPP; p-phenyltritolylporphyrinatopalladium(II), PdTTPP] form dyads for through-space triplet energy transfers. The binding constants are on the order of 20,000 M(-1) in all six cases (298 K). The energy diagram built upon absorption and emission spectra at 298 and 77 K places the [Pt3(dppm)3(CO)](2+) and [Pd3(dppm)3(CO)](2+) as triplet energy donors, respectively, with respect to the ZnTPPCO2(-), ZnTTPPCO2(-), and PdTTPPCO2(-) pigments, which act as acceptors. Evidence for energy transfer is provided by the transient absorption spectra at 298 K, where triplet-triplet absorption bands of the metalloporphyrin chromophores are depicted at all time (at 298 K) with total absence of the charge-separated state in the nanosecond to microsecond time scale. Rates for energy transfer (ranging in the 10(4) s(-1) time scale) are extracted from the emission lifetimes of the [Pt3(dppm)3(CO)](2+) donor in the free chromophore and the host-guest assemblies. The emission intensity of [Pd3(dppm)3(CO)](2+) is too weak to measure its spectrum and emission lifetime in the presence of the strongly luminescent metalloporphyrin-containing materials. For the [Pd3(dppm)3(CO)](2+)...metalloporphyrin dyads, evidence for fluorescence and phosphorescence lifetime quenching of the porphyrin chromophore at 298 K is provided. These quenchings, exhibiting rates of 10(4) (triplet) and 10(8) s(-1) (singlet), are attributed to a photoinduced electron transfer from the metalloporphyrin to the cluster due to the low reduction potential. 相似文献
The synthesis of heterocyclic azo‐dyes via conventional heating and microwave (MW) heating was investigated. From a sequence of reactions starting from cyanoacetic acid, 4‐arylazo‐2H‐pyrazol‐3‐ylamines and 4‐arylazo‐2‐phenyl‐2H‐pyrazol‐3‐ylamines were obtained. The structures these compounds were obtained by inspection of spectroscopic and analytical techniques including 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis. The fastness properties and UV/Vis absorption spectroscopic data of these disperse dyes in printing polyester fabrics were investigated. 相似文献

Sage, Salvia officinalis L., is used worldwide as an aromatic herb for culinary purposes as well as a traditional medicinal agent for various ailments. Current investigations exhibited the effects of extended dryings of the herb on the yields, composition, oil quality, and hepatoprotective as well as anti-cancer biological activities of the hydrodistillation-obtained essential oils from the aerial parts of the plant. The essential oils’ yields, compositions, and biological activities levels of the fresh and differently timed and room-temperature dried herbs differed significantly. The lowest yields of the essential oil were obtained from the fresh herbs (FH, 631 mg, 0.16%), while the highest yield was obtained from the two-week dried herbs (2WDH, 1102 mg, 0.28%). A notable decrease in monoterpenes, with increment in the sesquiterpene constituents, was observed for the FH-based essential oil as compared to all the other batches of the essential oils obtained from the different-timed dried herbs. Additionally, characteristic chemotypic constituents of sage, i.e., α-pinene, camphene, β-pinene, myrcene, 1, 8-cineole, α-thujone, and camphor, were present in significantly higher proportions in all the dried herbs’ essential oils as compared to the FH-based essential oil. The in vivo hepatoprotective activity demonstrated significant reductions in the levels of AST, ALT, and ALP, as well as a significant increase in the total protein (p < 0.05) contents level, as compared to the acetaminophen (AAP) administered experimental group of rats. A significant reduction (p < 0.05) in the ALT level was demonstrated by the 4WDH-based essential oil in comparison to the FH-based essential oil. The levels of creatinine, cholesterol, and triglycerides were reduced (p < 0.05) in the pre-treated rats by the essential oil batches, with non-significant differences found among them as a result of the herbs dryings based oils. A notable increase in the viability of the cells, and total antioxidant capacity (TAOxC) levels, together with the reduction in malondialdehyde (MDA) levels were observed by the essential oils obtained from all the batches as compared with the AAP-treated cell-lines, HepG-2, HeLa, and MCF-7, that indicated the in vitro hepatoprotective effects of the sage essential oils. However, significant improvements in the in vivo and in vitro hepatoprotective activities with the 4WDH-based oil, as compared to all other essential oil-batches and silymarin standard demonstrated the beneficial effects of the drying protocol for the herb for its medicinal purposes. 相似文献
The Selkov system, which is typically employed to model glycolysis phenomena, unveils some rich dynamics and some other complex formations in biochemical reactions. In the present work, the synchronization problem of the glycolysis reaction-diffusion model is handled and examined. In addition, a novel convenient control law is designed in a linear form and, on the other hand, the stability of the associated error system is demonstrated through utilizing a suitable Lyapunov function. To illustrate the applicability of the proposed schemes, several numerical simulations are performed in one- and two-spatial dimensions. 相似文献
