Annealing characteristics of photodarkening have been studied experimentally in order to investigate a model represented by a configuration diagram which includes excited and ground states. Barrier heights of the ground states, having double wells, are fairly scattered around 0.5 ~ 1.5 ev from site to site, and the energy difference between the wells is 0.1 eV. The relaxation energy of the excited states is estimated to be 0.05 eV. The fact that band-gap illumination determines the position of optical absorption edges of the specimen irrespective of the previous history, is understandable with this model. Further, it is shown from annealing kinetics that the origins of the photodarkening and mid-gap-absorption are not the same.  相似文献

An attempt was made to calculate 13C NMR chemical shifts of poly(β-benzyl L-aspartate) having the right-handed α-helix (αR-helix) and left-handed α-helix (αL-helix) forms by a tight-binding MO sum-over-states theory within the extended Hückel framework, in order to examine whether or not the conformation-dependent 13C chemical shifts previously determined by the cross polarization-magic angle spinning technique are reproduced by a change of electronic structure of the polymer. It is found that the relative displacements of the observed Cα, Cβ and carbonyl 13C chemical shifts between the αR- and αL-helices are reproduced qualitatively by the calculation.  相似文献

Stability of moments of the mild solution of a semilinear stochastic evolution equation is studied and sufficient conditions are given for the exponential stability of the pth moment in terms of Liapunov function. Sufficient conditions for sample continuity of the solution are also obtained and the exponential stability of sample paths is proved. Three examples are given to illustrate the theory.  相似文献

The cross-section for J/ψ production in proton-proton collisions has been measured as a function of centre-of-mass energy at the CERN Intersecting Storage Rings by observing its decay into electron-positron pairs. This cross-section is found to rise by a factor of about six over the full centre-of-mass energy range from √s=23 to √s=63 GeV. Electrons resulting from this decay were identified by the use of liquid argon calorimeters and lithium foil transition radiators. Measurements of the energies of the electrons were obtained from the liquid argon calorimeters.  相似文献

The fundamental absorption edge of evaporated WO3 films is investigated. The optical gap of the virgin film is estimated to be 3.41 eV at room temperature and it decreases with increase of annealing temperature up to 200°C. Annealing at 300°C leads to change in the spectral shape, which is caused by crystallization. For the films annealed at 200°C, temperature coefficient of the optical gap is estimated to be −2×10−4 eV/K and the slope of Urbach's tail is found to be independent of measuring temperature up to 200°C. With electrolytic coloration, shift of the optical gap toward higher energy is observed. Magnitude of this shift is estimated to be 0.05 eV at the color center concentration of 7.5×1021 cm−3 when H+ electrolyte is used. If Li+ electrolyte is used, the magnitude of this shift is about three times larger than in the case of H+ electrolyte. This fact is interpreted by a small change in the host matrix structure owing to the injection of proton or Li+ during coloration.  相似文献
