A simple and fast method for determining the content of Na, K, Ca, Mg, P, and 20 heavy metals in biodiesel samples with inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP OES) using a two-nozzle Flow Blurring® multinebulizer prototype and on-line internal standard calibration, are proposed. The biodiesel samples were produced from different feedstock such as sunflower, corn, soybean and grape seed oils, via a base catalyst transesterification. The analysis was carried out without any sample pretreatment. The standards and samples were introduced through one of the multinebulizer nozzles, while the aqueous solution containing yttrium as an internal standard was introduced through the second nozzle. Thus, the spectral interferences were compensated and the formation of carbon deposits on the ICP torch was prevented. The determination coefficients (R2) were greater than 0.99 for the studied analytes, in the range 0.21–14.75 mg kg−1. Short-term and long-term precisions were estimated as relative standard deviation. These were acceptable, their values being lower than 10%. The LOQ for major components such as Ca, K, Mg, Na, and P, were within a range between 4.9 ng g−1 for Mg (279.553 nm) and 531.1 ng g−1 for Na (588.995 nm), and for the other 20 minor components they were within a range between 1.1 ng g−1 for Ba (455.403 nm) and 2913.9 ng g−1 for Pb (220.353 nm). High degrees of intensity correlation between two independent lasers were observed after propagation through a rubidium vapor cell in which they generate Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT). As the optical field intensities are increased, the correlation changes sign (becoming anti-correlation). The experiment was performed in a room temperature rubidium cell, using two diode lasers tuned to the 85Rb D2 line (λ= 780 nm). The cross-correlation spectral function for the pump and probe fields is numerically obtained by modeling the temporal dynamics of both field phases as diffusing processes. We explored the dependence of the atomic response on the atom-field Rabi frequencies, optical detuning and Doppler width. The results show that resonant phase-noise to amplitude-noise conversion is at the origin of the observed signal and the change in sign for the correlation coefficient can be explained as a consequence of the competition between EIT and Raman resonance processes.  相似文献

The transformation of n-pentane into aromatic hydrocarbons over Zn-exchanged ZSM-11 zeolite (Zn-ZSM-11) has been studied. The catalyst exhibited a high activity and BTX selectivity for n-C5 conversion at about 538°C, 1 h–1 and 1 atm. Zn-species are effective for the activation of the n-pentane and the transformation of intermediate products into aromatic compounds.

The synthesis of spirocyclic amide acetals (33–93 %) has been achieved through Ru(II)-catalyzed condensations of N-carbamate protected pyrrolidinones with metal carbenes derived from α-diazo-β-ketoesters. Thanks to the mildness of the diazo decomposition conditions induced by a 1 : 1 combination of [CpRu(MeCN)3][BArF] and 1,10-phenanthroline, the formation of the sensitive products is possible. Full characterization of this carbonyl-ylide mediated process is provided by DFT calculations.  相似文献

An extensive study of surface/interface phenomena during wear of an adaptive TiAlCrSiYN/TiAlCrN nano‐multilayer coating deposited using physical vapor deposition was undertaken under increasingly severe tribological conditions associated with dry end milling of H13 hardened tool steel. The results of FEM modeling on the temperature/stress distribution at different cutting speeds outline actual cutting conditions on the both rake and flank frictional surfaces of the coated tool. Studies of the surface/interface phenomena were made by means of SEM/high‐resolution transmission electron microscopy/XPS analyses. Results demonstrate that intensifying tribological conditions facilitates improved wear performance of the adaptive coating layer. In extreme tribological conditions of ultra‐performance machining (cutting speed of 500 m/min), the self‐organization process establishes entirely through the formation of a nano‐scale layer of dynamically re‐generating tribo‐ceramic films. The formation of these surface nano‐films results in exceptionally efficient protection of the underlying coating layers. In response to the extreme external environment, the coating layer remained almost undamaged during a long run, demonstrating the capacity to efficiently replenish necessary tribo‐ceramic films. In this way, interconnection of various surface and undersurface processes is established in the hierarchically structured tribo‐films/coating layer. This integral performance is responsible for exceptional wear resistance under intensifying and extreme tribological conditions. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We argue that, in the context of eternal inflation in the landscape, making predictions for cosmological--and possibly particle physics--observables requires a measure on the possible cosmological histories as opposed to one on the vacua themselves. If significant slow-roll inflation occurs, the observables are generally determined by the history after the last transition between metastable vacua. Hence, we start from several existing measures for counting vacua and develop measures for counting the transitions between vacua.  相似文献

An optical coherence microscopy system based on line illumination and detection is demonstrated. The system uses a Linnik-type interferometer illuminated by a broadband Ti:sapphire laser and detected by a high-speed, line-scan CCD camera. This approach is less sensitive to incoherent scattering and sample motion than full-field imaging. Spatial resolutions of approximately 2 microm x approximately 3 microm(transverse x axial) are achieved. The sensitivity of the system is 93 dB with averaging over 30 line scans. En face real time, cellular-level imaging of biological tissues is demonstrated at approximately 2 frames/s.  相似文献
