An emission band system in the region 5700–6700 Å from Dergaon stoney iron meteorite which fell at Dergaon, India on March 2, 16.40 local time (2001) was excited with the help of a continuous 500 mW Ar+ laser. The band system is attributed to silicate (olivine), a major component of the meteorite.  相似文献

A combined solid and solution phase methodology for the synthesis of a series of mononuclear and polynuclear zinc benzoate complexes is described. The substituent on the aromatic ring and the effect of solvent on deciding the composition of the complexes is presented. From the 4-substituted benzoic acids 4-methylbenzoic acid (ptolH), 4-nitrobenzoic acid (pnitrobenH) and 4-chlorobenzoic acid (pchlorbenH), the mononuclear complexes [Zn(ptol)2(H2O)2], [Zn(pnitroben)2(H2O)(DMSO)2] and [Zn(pchlorben)2py)2] (where DMSO = dimethylsulfoxide, py = pyridine) have been synthesized and structurally characterised. Zinc complexes from the reaction of zinc sulfate heptahydrate with 3-methylbenzoic acid (mtolH) and 2-methylbenzoic acid (otolH), the dinuclear complexes [Zn22-mtol)4(py)2], [Zn22-otol)4(py)2], pentanuclear complex [Zn52-mtol)6(mtol)23-OH)2 (py)2] and tetranuclear complex [Zn42-otol)64-O) (DMSO)2], have been prepared by varying the reaction conditions and the complexes have been structurally characterized.  相似文献

Strontium(II) bis (oxalato) strontium(II) trihydrate, Sr[Sr(C2O4)2]·3H2O and mercury(II) bis (oxalato) mercurate(II) hexahydrate, Hg[Hg(C2O4)2]·6H2O have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, reflectance and IR spectral studies. Thermal decomposition studies (TG, DTG and DTA) in air showed SrCO3 was formed at ca. 500°C through the formation of transient intermediate of a mixture of SrCO3 and SrC2O4 around 455°C. Sharp phase transition from γ-SrCO3 to β-SrCO3 indicated by a distinct endothermic peak at 900°C in DTA. Mercury(II) bis (oxalato) mercurate(II) hexahydrate showed an inclined slope followed by surprisingly steep slope in TG at 178°C and finally 98.66% of weight loss at 300°C. The activation energies (E *) of the dehydration and decomposition steps have been calculated by Freeman and Carroll and Flynn and Wall's method and compared with the values found by DSC in nitrogen. A tentative reaction mechanism for the thermal decomposition of Sr[Sr(C2O4)2]·3H2O has been proposed.  相似文献
