Reaction of benzonitrilium N-phenylimide 3a with dibenzalacetone 1 yielded a mixture of the mono- and biscycloadducts 8a and 11a in a 1:1 ratio. A similar reaction of 1 with ethoxycarbonylnitrilium N-phenylimide 3b afforded a mixture of the cycloadducts 7b , 8b , and 12b in a 1:3:6 ratio, respectively. The structures of these products were established by spectral analyses and chemical transformations. The results invalidate the previously reported structure 4a assigned for the biscycloadduct isolated from the reaction of 3a with 1 . © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The spectra of rare earth elements (REE) have been investigated to select thermometric species for spectroscopic diagnostic of analytical plasmas. Groups of lines of Y II, La II, Eu II and Yb II were found appropriate for the determination of ionic excitation temperature in argon wall-stabilized plasma arc (WSA) and inductively coupled plasma (ICP). Boltzman plots with excellent Fitting to straight lines were obtained. Temperature values deduced with the different groups of spectral lines agree with each other as well as with that obtained with the most familiarly used Ti II lines.

In Abdallah (2008, 2009) [2] and [3], we have investigated the existence of exponential attractors for first and second order autonomous lattice dynamical systems. Within this work, in l2, we carefully study the existence of a uniform exponential attractor for the family of processes associated with an abstract family of first order non-autonomous lattice dynamical systems with quasiperiodic symbols acting on a closed bounded set.  相似文献

Problems of existence and nonexistence of global nontrivial solutions to quasilinear evolution differential inequalities in a product of cones are investigated. The proofs of the nonexistence results are based on the test-function method developed, for the case of the whole space, by Mitidieri, Pohozaev, Tesei and Véron. Azimuthal decorrelations between the two central jets with the largest transverse momenta are sensitive to the dynamics of events with multiple jets. We present a measurement of the normalized differential cross section based on the full data set (∫Ldt=36 pb(-1)) acquired by the ATLAS detector during the 2010 sqrt(s)=7 TeV proton-proton run of the LHC. The measured distributions include jets with transverse momenta up to 1.3 TeV, probing perturbative QCD in a high-energy regime.  相似文献

A search for diphoton events with large missing transverse energy is presented. The data were collected with the ATLAS detector in proton-proton collisions at √s=7 TeV at the CERN Large Hadron Collider and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 3.1 pb?1. No excess of such events is observed above the standard model background prediction. In the context of a specific model with one universal extra dimension with compactification radius R and gravity-induced decays, values of 1/R<729 GeV are excluded at 95% C. L., providing the most sensitive limit on this model to date.  相似文献

Opacity measurements in warm dense matter (WDM) provide a valuable benchmark for the diverging theoretical models in this regime. Heating of thin foils with intense heavy-ion beams allows one to create isolated samples of warm dense matter suitable for experimental determination of frequency-dependent opacities. A prerequisite for the measurements is the isothermal expansion of the heated foil. Hydrodynamic simulations predict that this condition is fulfilled. The analysis shows that existing ion-beam accelerators are capable to contribute to this field of research.  相似文献

In this letter we suggest a theoretical model to investigate the weak interaction dependence of the in situ radii of condensate boson atoms in a combined harmonic with one or two-dimensional deep optical lattice. The semiclassical approximation is employed to calculate the above mentioned parameters. The calculated results showed that the in situ radii depends crucially on the interatomic interaction. Our results can be extended to investigate the moment of inertia of condensate boson atoms in combined harmonic-optical potential as well as superfluidity nature of synthetically charged boson atoms in combined potential.  相似文献

A measurement of the ZZ production cross section in proton-proton collisions at sqrt[s] = 7 TeV using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.02 fb(-1) recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC is presented. Twelve events containing two Z boson candidates decaying to electrons and/or muons are observed, with an expected background of 0.3 ± 0.3(stat)(-0.3)(+0.4)(syst) events. The cross section measured in a phase-space region with good detector acceptance and for dilepton masses within the range 66 to 116 GeV is σ(ZZ → ?+ ?- ?+ ?-)(fid) = 19.4(-5.2)(+6.3)(stat)(-0.7)(+0.9)(syst) ± 0.7(lumi) fb. The resulting total cross section for on-shell ZZ production, σ(ZZ)(tot) = 8.5(-2.3)(+2.7)(stat)(-0.3)(+0.4)(syst) ± 0.3(lumi) pb, is consistent with the standard model expectation of 6.5(-0.2)(+0.3) pb calculated at the next-to-leading order in QCD. Limits on anomalous neutral triple gauge boson couplings are derived.  相似文献
