This paper uses the cellular automaton model to study the
dynamics of traffic flow around an on-ramp with an acceleration lane.
It adopts a parameter, which can reflect different lane-changing
behaviour, to represent the diversity of driving behaviour. The
refined cellular automaton model is used to describe the lower
acceleration rate of a vehicle. The phase diagram and the capacity of the
on-ramp system are investigated. The simulation results show that in
the single cell model, the capacity of the on-ramp system will stay
at the highest flow of a one lane system when the driver is moderate
and careful; it will be reduced when the driver is aggressive. In
the refined cellular automaton model, the capacity is always reduced
even when the driver is careful. It proposes that the capacity drop of
the on-ramp system is caused by aggressive lane-changing behaviour
and lower acceleration rate. 相似文献

Considering the effect of multiple flux difference, an extended lattice model is proposed to improve the stability of traffic flow. The stability condition of the new model is obtained by using linear stability theory. The theoretical analysis result shows that considering the flux difference effect ahead can stabilize traffic flow. The nonlinear analysis is also conducted by using a reductive perturbation method. The modified KdV (mKdV) equation near the critical point is derived and the kink-antikink solution is obtained from the mKdV equation. Numerical simulation results show that the multiple flux difference effect can suppress the traffic jam considerably, which is in line with the analytical result. 相似文献

We examine the weighted networks grown and evolved by local events, such as the addition of new vertices and links and we show that depending on frequency of the events, a generalized power-law distribution of strength can emerge. Continuum theory is used to predict the scaling function as well as the exponents, which is in good agreement with the numerical simulation results. Depending on event frequency, power-law distributions of degree and weight can also be expected. Probability saturation phenomena for small strength and degree in many real world networks can be reproduced. Particularly, the non-trivial clustering coefficient, assortativity coefficient and degree-strength correlation in our model are all consistent with empirical evidences. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new cellular automaton (CA) model for train
movement simulations under mixed traffic conditions. A kind of control
strategy is employed for trains to reduce energy consumption. In the
proposed CA model, the driver controls the train movements by using some
updated rules. In order to obtain a good insight into the evolution
behaviours of the rail traffic flow, we investigate the space--time diagram
of the rail traffic flow and the trajectories of the train movements. The
numerical simulation results demonstrate that the proposed CA model can well
describe the dynamic behaviours of the train movements. Some complex
phenomena of train movements can be reproduced, such as the train delay

In the functional properties of complex networks, modules play a
central role. In this paper, we propose a new method to detect and
describe the modular structures of weighted networks. In order to
test the proposed method, as an example, we use our method to analyse
the structural properties of the Chinese railway network. Here, the
stations are regarded as the nodes and the track sections are
regarded as the links. Rigorous analysis of the existing data shows
that using the proposed algorithm, the nodes of network can be
classified naturally. Moreover, there are several core nodes in each
module. Remarkably, we introduce the correlation function $G_{rs}$,
and use it to distinguish the different modules in weighted networks. 相似文献
