Singularly perturbed reaction diffusion equations with time delay

Abstract A class of initial boundary value problems of differential-difference equations for reaction diffusion with a small time delay is considered. Under suitable conditions and by using the stretched variable method, a formal asymptotic solution is constructed. Then, by use of the theory of differential inequalities, the uniform validity of the solution is proved.     

Soliton solution to generalized nonlinear disturbed Klein-Gordon equation

A generalized nonlinear disturbed Klein-Gordon equation is studied. Using the homotopic mapping method, the corresponding homotopic mapping is constructed. A suitable initial approximation is selected, and an arbitrary-order approximate solution to the soliton is calculated： A weakly disturbed equation is also studied.

Asymptotic solution for a perturbed mechanism of western boundary undercurrents in the Pacific

This paper consider a class of perturbed mechanism for the western boundary undercurrents in the Pacific. The model of generalized governing equations is studied. Using the perturbation method, it constructs the asymptotic solution of the model. And the accuracy of asymptotic solution is proved by the theory of differential inequalities. Thus the uniformly valid asymptotic expansions of the solution are obtained.     

Asymptotic solution of a sea--air oscillator for ENSO mechanism

The EI Ni\~{n}o/La Ni\~{n}a--Southern Oscillation (ENSO) is an interannual phenomenon involved in the tropical Pacific ocean--atmosphere interactions. In this paper, a class of coupled system of the ENSO mechanism is considered. Based on a class of oscillator of ENSO model, the asymptotic solution of a corresponding problem is studied by employing the approximate method. It is proved from the results that the perturbation method can be used for analysing the sea surface temperature anomaly in the equatorial eastern Pacific and the thermocline depth anomaly of the atmosphere--ocean oscillation for the ENSO model.

非线性非局部反应扩散方程奇摄动问题

研究了一类具有非线性非局部反应扩散方程奇摄动Robin初始边值问题。在适当的条件下,首先求出了原问题的外部解,然后利用伸长变量、合成展开法和幂级数展开理论构造出解的初始层项,并由此得到解的形式渐近展开式。最后利用微分不等式理论,讨论了问题解的渐近性态并导出了几个有关的不等式,讨论了原问题解的存在唯一性和解的一致有效的渐近估计式。
