Summary  The aim of this paper is to propose new selection criteria for the orders of selfexciting threshold autoregressive (SETAR) models. These criteria use bootstrap methodology; they are based on a weighted mean of the apparent error rate in the sample and the average error rate obtained from bootstrap samples not containing the point being predicted. These new criteria are compared with the traditional ones based on the Akaike information criterion (AIC). A simulation study and an example on a real data set end the paper.  相似文献

A new efficient interval partitioning approach to solve constrained global optimization problems is proposed. This involves a new parallel subdivision direction selection method as well as an adaptive tree search. The latter explores nodes (intervals in variable domains) using a restricted hybrid depth-first and best-first branching strategy. This hybrid approach is also used for activating local search to identify feasible stationary points. The new tree search management technique results in improved performance across standard solution and computational indicators when compared to previously proposed techniques. On the other hand, the new parallel subdivision direction selection rule detects infeasible and suboptimal boxes earlier than existing rules, and this contributes to performance by enabling earlier reliable deletion of such subintervals from the search space.  相似文献

Using the supersymmetric quantum mechanics, we investigate the wave function-sensitive properties of the supersymmetric potentials which have received a lot of attention in the literature recently. We show that a superdeep potential and its phase-equivalent shallow-partner potential give very similar rms radius values for the weakly bound systems such as the deuteron and 11Be nuclei. Although the corresponding eigenstates differ in the node-number, our investigation on the 11Be(p, d )10Be single nucleon halo transfer reaction at 35 MeV show that also other physical quantities such as the cross-section angular distributions calculated using these wave functions reflect the nodal structure rather weakly. Beam search (BS) is used as a heuristic to solve various combinatorial optimization problems, ranging from scheduling to assembly line balancing. In this paper, we develop a backtracking and an exchange-of-information (EOI) procedure to enhance the traditional beam search method. The backtracking enables us to return to previous solution states in the search process with the expectation of obtaining better solutions. The EOI is used to transfer information accumulated in a beam to other beams to yield improved solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, the entanglement properties of a system of two atoms inside an optical cavity in a stochastic interaction with field are studied by the Jaynes-Cummings Model. The phase telegraph noise is considered as a noise term and an exact solution to the model is obtained. The solution reveals the resulting decoherence effects of the noise on the entanglement properties of the system. It shows that under the noise the individual atoms do not entangle with the cavity field. However, a strong atom-atom entanglement is observed in a stationary state. It is seen that a relatively strong noise is cooperative in the construction of the steady state atom-atom entanglement.  相似文献

A series of homo‐, heterodinuclear and homotrinuclear copper(II) complexes containing a new Schiff base ligand and 1,10‐phenanthroline were synthesized. Based on results of elemental analyses, FTIR, 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR spectra, conductivity measurements and magnetic susceptibility measurements, the complexes had general compositions {[Cu(L)(H2O)M(phen)2](ClO4)2 [M = Cu(II), Mn(II), Co(II)]} and {[Cu3(L)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2}. The metal:L:phen ratio is 2:1:2 for the dinuclear copper(II) complexes and the metal:L ratio was 3:2 for the trinuclear copper(II) complex. The liquid–liquid extraction of various transition metal cations [Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Pb(II), Cd(II), Hg(II)] from the aqueous phase to the organic phase was carried out using the diimine–dioxime ligand. It was concluded that the ligand can effectively be used in solvent extraction of copper(II) from the aqueous phase to the organic phase. Furthermore, catalytic activitiy of the complexes for the disproportionation of hydrogen peroxide was also investigated in the presence of imidazole. Dinuclear copper(II)–manganese(II) complex has some similarity to manganese catalase in structure and activity. The interaction between these complexes and DNA has also been investigated by agarose gel electrophoresis; we found that the homo‐ and heterodinuclear copper complexes can cleave supercoiled pBR322 DNA to nicked and linear forms in the presence of H2O2.
