The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the initial results of the dynamic contrast-enhanced MRA in under four seconds in the assessment of anomalous pulmonary circulation. We performed dynamic contrast enhanced MRA on ten patients with a temporal resolution of 2-3 sec for each phase. Five patients had pulmonary vascular anomaly and five patients had reconstructed pulmonary circulation. On nine patients catheter angiography was performed for the correlation. Dynamic contrast-enhanced MRA successfully demonstrated congenital pulmonary vascular anomalies and the pathway of anomalous pulmonary circulation in our series. With the improved temporal and spatial resolution, the dynamic contrast-enhanced MRA can be used in children and infants for the assessment of congenital vascular disease. 相似文献

High-spin states in the 97Tc nucleus have been studied by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy with the reaction 82Se(19F,4nγ) at 68 MeV incident energy. Excited states have been observed up to about 8 MeV excitation and spin 43/2. The observed

The activity concentration of natural (238U, 232Th, and 40K) and artificial (137Cs) radionuclides was determined in 50 samples (obtained from the same station) from various species of mushrooms and soil collected from the Middle Black Sea Region (Turkey). The activities of 238U, 232Th, 40K, and 137Cs were found as 84 ± 16, 45 ± 14, 570 ± 28, and 64 ± 6?Bq?kg–1 (dry weight), respectively, in the mushroom samples and as 51?±?6, 41?±?6, 201?±?11, and 44?±?4?Bq?kg–1, respectively, in the soil samples for the entire area of study. The results of all radionuclide activity measurements, except those of 238U and 232Th in the mushroom samples, are consistent with previous studies. In the soil samples, the mean values of 238U and 232Th are above the world mean, and the activity mean of 40K is below the world mean. Finally, the activity estimation was made with both the soil and mushroom samples for unmeasured points within the study area by using the ordinary kriging method. ZnO thin films were grown using Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction (SILAR) method on glass substrates at room temperature. Annealing temperatures and film thickness effect on the structural, morphological, optical and electrical properties of the films were studied. For this as-deposited films were annealed at 200, 300, 400 and 500 °C for 30 min in oxygen atmosphere. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies showed that the films are covered well with glass substrates and have good polycrystalline structure and crystalline levels. The film thickness effect on band gap values was investigated and band gap values were found to be within the range of 3.49-3.19 eV. The annealing temperature and light effect on electrical properties of the films were investigated and it was found that the current increased with increasing light intensity. The resistivity values were found as 105 Ω-cm for as-deposited films from electrical measurements. The resistivity decreased decuple with annealing temperature and decreased centuple with light emission for annealed films. 相似文献

Twenty-two medicinal herb samples, each representing a distinct species, were collected from Turkish markets and measured by the gamma spectrometric method. The activity concentration of 226Ra in medicinal herbs was found in the range of minimum detectable activity (MDA) and 15.1?±?2.2?Bqkg?1. The activity concentration of 232Th ranged from MDA values to 3.5?±?0.8?Bqkg?1. The activity concentration of 40K varied between 50.0?±?16.8 and 1311.5?±?57.3?Bqkg?1. All 137Cs activity concentrations of medicinal herbs were found to have lower than MDA values. The bone surface dose, lower large intestine and colon doses were found to be 182.9, 18.8 and 18.7?µSvy?1, respectively. The highest committed effective dose originated from the annual ingestion of 1?kg medicinal herb was calculated notably low as 9.0?µSv. The cancer risk of ingestion of medicinal herbs was found to be small enough to be neglected. The selected Turkish medicinal herbs are considered safe for human consumption. 相似文献

Gamma radiation-induced radicals of 2-methylglutaric acid (2MG), diethyl amino malonate hydrochloride (DEAMHCl), ethyl malonate monoamide have been investigated at room temperature by the electron paramagnetic resonance technique. The type of radicals formed and their room temperature stability were evaluated. Three different radicals have been detected. The free radicals formed in compounds were attributed to the HOOCCH3?CH2CH2 COOH, CH3?HCO2CHNH2COCH2CH3 HCl and NH2COCH2COO?HCH3 radicals, respectively. ABSTRACTBecause of the high radiation dose in applications involving nuclear reactors, medical treatments etc., it is important to reduce the exposure to radiation of areas and workers. In this study, we were examined gamma ray shielding parameters of the newly produced Re-based superalloys. Mass attenuation coefficient (µ/ρ) of the alloys were obtained experimentally at 81, 276, 302, 356, 383 keV photon energies emitted from 133Ba radioactive source using Ultra Ge detector. The experimental results were compared with the values obtained by the WinXCOM program and were found to be in perfect agreement with each other. Additionally, effective atomic number (Zeff) and electron density (Neff) were determined for produced Rhenium (Re) based super alloys in the energy range 1 keV–100?GeV. S5 sample which has maximum Rhenium percentage own the largest µ/ρ and Zeff values. Moreover, by using Geometric Progression (GP) approximation, EABF and EBF were computed for the superalloys depending on the energy and penetration depths. It has been deduced that the values of EABF and EBF are minimum in the medium energy region. EBF and EABF values of the alloys have changed depending on the equivalent atomic number. Among alloy samples under study, S5 superalloy is the best for gamma ray shielding. However, in general, considering the radiation energies used in many applications, all the alloys under study have satisfactory radiation absorption properties. 相似文献
