Synthesis and micellization of amphiphilic poly(sebacic anhydride)–poly(ethylene glycol)–poly(sebacic anhydride) block copolymers

Amphiphilic biodegradable block copolymers [poly(sebacic anhydride)–poly(ethylene glycol)–poly(sebacic anhydride)] were synthesized by the melt polycondensation of poly(ethylene glycol) and sebacic anhydride prepolymers. The chemical structure, crystalline nature, and phase behavior of the resulting copolymers were characterized with ¹H NMR, Fourier transform infrared, gel permeation chromatography, and differential scanning calorimetry. Microphase separation of the copolymers occurred, and the crystallinity of the poly(sebacic anhydride) (PSA) blocks diminished when the sebacic anhydride unit content in the copolymer was only 21.6%. ¹H NMR spectra carried out in CDCl₃ and D₂O were used to demonstrate the existence of hydrophobic PSA domains as the core of the micelle. In aqueous media, the copolymers formed micelles after precipitation from water‐miscible solvents. The effects on the micelle sizes due to the micelle preparation conditions, such as the organic phase, dropping rate of the polymer organic solution into the aqueous phase, and copolymer concentrations in the organic phase, were studied. There was an increase in the micelle size as the molecular weight of the PSA block was increased. The diameters of the copolymer micelles were also found to increase as the concentration of the copolymer dissolved in the organic phase was increased, and the dependence of the micelle diameters on the concentration of the copolymer varied with the copolymer composition. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Electrochemical characteristics of gatifloxacin and its interaction with DNA.

The electrochemical behavior of gatifloxacin (GTFX) and its interaction with natural calf thymus DNA (ctDNA) is investigated by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) on a carbon paraffined electrode. According to the suggested electrochemical equation, a binding constant of 1.7058 x 10(5) (mol L(-1))(-1) and binding sizes s = 3.09 (base pairs) of GTFX with ctDNA are obtained by nonlinear fit analysis of electrochemical data. The results demonstrate that GTFX has the properties of an intercalative binder.     

Average Property of Isospin Effects Induced by Neutron-Halo Nuclei

We study the average property of the isospin effects of reaction mechanism induced by neutron-halo nuclei within the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model. We find that the extended neutron density distribution for the neutron-halo projectile brings an important isospin effect into the reaction mechanism, which induces the decrease of nuclear stopping R; however, it induces the obvious increases of the neutron-proton ratio of nucleon emissions （n/p）nucl for all of the beam energies in this work, compared to the same mass stable colliding system.     

聚偏氟乙烯辐射效应的研究——II.晶区辐射损伤点的研究

研究了聚偏氟乙烯 (PVDF)晶体结构与辐射效应的关系 .利用不同的热处理条件 ,获得了 7种不同规整性、不同结晶度的样品 ;通过对其辐射效应的研究 ,探讨了材料结晶区和晶区内不同部位的辐射效应以及这些不同的结构对材料辐射效应的影响 .使用示差扫描量热分析 (DSC)测量样品零熵产生相变温度、结晶度等随吸收剂量的改变 ,以及不同退火条件样品的辐射效应 .讨论了PVDF样品晶体辐射损伤与样品结构的关系 .利用电子自旋共振谱仪 (ESR)测量不同辐照后样品残余自由基的浓度及这些残余自由基加热条件下的不同命运 .结合DSC分析及X射线衍射分析得到晶体辐射损伤是从晶体表面折叠圈区和晶体茎杆内部缺陷区同时开始的结论     

双折射双频激光器偏振特性的分析

用激光原理和晶体光学原理分析了腔内加旋光晶体的激光器输出光的偏振特性，实验和分析表明，激光器输出两束不同频率的垂直线偏振光，激光器两端输出光的偏振面有一夹角ａ，且此夹角与晶轴和传光方向的夹角θ有关。理论计算结果在双折射双频激光器的实验结果符合很好。     

关于Fuzzy聚类分析及其在脊髓灰质炎中的应用

本文用Fuzzy数学的观点探讨了Fuzzy聚类分析，并通过对脊髓灰质炎病毒抗体水平的Fuzzy聚类分析，获得了良好的聚类效果，为该项问题的研究提供了科学依据。     

Riemannian geometry of strong-laser plasma

The optical metric for a strong-laser plasma is derived. The affine connection and curvature related to the optical metric are given and their spatial distributions are studied numerically.     

激发态卟啉衍生物研究(Ⅶ)——取代基对卟啉—硝基苯化合物发光特性的影响

本文报导共价链相连的X-P-Y“三合板”型化合物在二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)和苯溶液中的发光特性.结果发现:引入取代基X=Cl—,CH3O—和Y=苯、硝基苯对中心卟啉的吸收和荧光光谱均无明显影响,仅其峰值频率将因溶剂不同而有所偏移.此外,由Cl—取代的卟啉—苯的荧光强度总比CH3O—取代时高;若将Y取代基由苯改换为硝基苯时,将使CH3O—P—Y化合物的荧光增强,但在Cl—P—Y化合物中则出现相反的趋势.不论在何种化合物中,在Y取代基中的苯环上引入NO2—基后,均可使其消光系数减小,而且当硝基在邻位取代时,这一效应更为显著.所有这些变化规律均不因溶剂不同而异.如果我们认为X—P—Y化合物的发光强度变化和其中心的卟啉大环上的π电子云密度偏移有规律性的关联,那么上述的一些取代基效应是可以理解的.进而,我们认为:本文所报导的事实将有助于充实巧妙设计高效利用太阳能的分子体系的科学依据.     

Optimal birth control of population dynamics

The authors studied optimal birth control policies for an age-structured population of McKendrick type which is a distributed parameter system involving 1st order partial differential equations with nonlocal bilinear boundary control. The functional analytic approach of Dubovitskii and Milyutin is adopted in the investigation. Maximum principles for problems with a free end condition and fixed final horizon are developed, and the time optimal control problems, the problem with target sets, and infinite planning horizon case are investigated.
