Mixed vanadium oxide thin films, as VO2 for the main composition are materials for uncooled microbolometer due to their high temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) at room temperature. This paper describes the design and fabrication of 8-element linear array IR uncooled microbolometers using the films and micromachining technology. The characteristics of the array is investigated in the spectral region of 8–12 m. The fabricated detectors exhibit responsivity of up to 10 KV/W, typical detectivity of 1.89×108 cmHz1/2/W, and thermal time constant of 11 ms, at 296 K and at a frequency of 30 Hz. Furthermore, The uncorrected response uniformity of the linear array bolometers is less than 20%. 相似文献

MgO nanobelts have been fabricated by chemical vapor deposition using MgCl3 as starting material. The products consist of a large quantity of belt-like nanostructures with typical lengths in the range
of several tens to several hundreds of micrometers; some of them even have lengths on the order of a millimeter. The typical
thickness and width-to-thickness ratio of the MgO nanobelts are in the range of 20 to 100 nm and about 5 to 10, respectively.
The size and morphology of the MgO nanobelts were measured by transmission electron microscopy. Investigations of X-ray diffraction
patterns and using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy indicate that the nanobelts have a cubic structure and
are single-crystalline.

Nuclear matter equations of state based on Skyrme, Myers-Swiatecki and Tondeur interactions are written as polynomials of
the cubic root of density, with coefficients that are functions of the relative neutron excess δ. In the extrapolation toward
states far away from the standard one, it is shown that the asymmetry dependence of the critical point ( ,) depends on the model used. However, when the equations of state are fitted to the same standard state, the value of is almost the same in Skyrme and in Myers-Swiatecki interactions, while is much lower in Tondeur interaction. Furthermore,
does not depend sensitively on the choice of the parameter γ in Skyrme interaction.

We demonstrate that the shift of the stop-band position with increasing oblique angle in periodic structures results in a wide transverse exponential field distribution corresponding to strong angular confinement of the radiation. The beam expansion follows an effective diffusive equation depending only upon the spectral mode width. In the presence of gain, the beam cross section is limited only by the size of the gain area. As an example of an active periodic photonic medium, we calculate and measure laser emission from a dye-doped cholesteric liquid crystal film. 相似文献

A Monte Carlo simulation is presented to describe the electron transport behaviours in the nitrogen direct current glow discharge. The energy and angular distributions of the electrons at different positions of the cathode dark space are calculated; their energy and density distribution features throughout the entire discharge are discussed. The influence of molecular vibrational excitation, typical for electron-molecule collisions, has been studied and the elementary process of active species generation has been illustrated. The simulated results reveal that, in the cathode dark space, the high-energy electrons are mainly forward scattering and behave as a high-energy ‘electron beam'. The sharp increase of the number of secondary electrons plays an important role in producing active species at the interface between the cathode dark space and the negative glow region. The vibrational excitation enhances the energy loss of electrons in the negative glow region. 相似文献

We report on the implementation of a KTP optical parametric oscillator pumped by a pulsed tunable Ti:sapphire laser. Two major improvements were achieved, including the connection of the signal and idler tuning ranges and the high-output conversion efficiency through the signal and idler tuning ranges. Both in the signal and idler, the continuous output wavelength from 1.261 to 2.532μm was obtained by varying the pump wavelength from 0.7 to 0.98μm. The maximum output pulse energy was 27.2mJ and the maximum conversion efficiency was 35.7% at 1.311μm (signal). 相似文献

Ultrahigh density data storage devices made by scanning probe techniques based on various recording media and their corresponding recording mechanisms, have attracted much attention recently, since they ensure a high data density in a non-volatile, erasable form in some kinds of ways. It is of particular interest to employ organic polymers with novel functional properties within a single molecule (or a single molecular complex) for fabricating electronic devices on a single molecular scale. Here, it is reported that a new process for ultrahigh density and erasable data storage, namely, molecular bistability on an organic charge transfer complex of 3-nitrobenzal malononitrile and 1,4-phenylenediamine (NBMN-pDA) switched by a scanning tunneling microscope (STM). Data density exceeds 1013 bits/cm2 with a writing time per bit of ~1μs. Current-voltage (I/V) measurements before and after the voltage pulse from the STM tip, together with optical absorption spectroscopy and macroscopic four-probe I/V measurements demonstrate that the writing mechanism is conductance transition in the organic complex. This mechanism offers an attractive combination of ultrahigh data density coupled with high speed. The ultimate bit density achievable appears to be limited only by the size of the organic complex, which is less than 1nm in our case, corresponding to 1014 bits/cm2. We believe that provided the lifetime can be improved, molecular bistability may represent a practical route for ultrahigh density data storage devices. 相似文献

Fabrication of strong long-period gratings in hydrogen-free fibers with 157-nm F2-laser radiation 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Long-period gratings were fabricated in standard telecommunication fiber (Corning SMF-28) by use of what is believed to be record short-wavelength light from a 157-nm F(2) laser. Strong loss peaks were formed without the need for enhancement techniques such as hydrogen loading. The magnitude of the attenuation peak was sensitive to the single-pulse laser fluence, decreasing with increasing pulse fluence as a result of nonuniform 157-nm laser interaction with both the fiber cladding and core. The long-period fiber gratings have good wavelength stability (Dlambda~7 nm) under thermal annealing at 150 degrees C. 相似文献
