Global Optimization of Stochastic Black-Box Systems via Sequential Kriging Meta-Models

This paper proposes a new method that extends the efficient global optimization to address stochastic black-box systems. The method is based on a kriging meta-model that provides a global prediction of the objective values and a measure of prediction uncertainty at every point. The criterion for the infill sample selection is an augmented expected improvement function with desirable properties for stochastic responses. The method is empirically compared with the revised simplex search, the simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation, and the DIRECT methods using six test problems from the literature. An application case study on an inventory system is also documented. The results suggest that the proposed method has excellent consistency and efficiency in finding global optimal solutions, and is particularly useful for expensive systems.     

On particles tunneling from the Taub-NUT-AdS black hole

This paper discusses tunneling of scalar particles and Dirac particles from the Taub-NUT-AdS black hole by the Hamilton--Jacobi equation, initially used by Angheben et al, and the Dirac equation, recently proposed by Kerner and Mann. This is performed in the dragging coordinate frame so as to avoid the ergosphere dragging effect. A general form is obtained for the temperature of scalar and Dirac particles tunneling from the Taub-NUT-Ads black hole, which is commensurate with other methods as expected.     

Electro-acupuncture promotes survival, differentiation of the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells as well as functional recovery in the spinal cord-transected rats

Background  

Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are one of the potential tools for treatment of the spinal cord injury; however, the survival and differentiation of MSCs in an injured spinal cord still need to be improved. In the present study, we investigated whether Governor Vessel electro-acupuncture (EA) could efficiently promote bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) survival and differentiation, axonal regeneration and finally, functional recovery in the transected spinal cord.     

μm量级钨掺杂PMP泡沫制备

以聚-4-甲基-1-戊烯（PMP）为泡沫骨架,m量级钨为掺杂材料,超高分子量聚乙烯（UHWPE）为溶液粘度控制剂,通过热诱导倒相技术实现了低密度钨掺杂聚合物泡沫的制备。实验结果表明：当UHWPE质量分数为25%时,能够实现粒径10 m的钨在泡沫体内的均匀掺杂;泡沫密度为20 mg/cm3时,钨掺杂质量分数最高可达60%。     

基于激光二极管光反馈效应的肌肉震颤测量系统

介绍一种测量肌肉震颤频率和幅度的无损伤、非接触光学方法。分析了在直接频率调制下 ,激光二极管中的光反馈效应 ,探讨了振动微小位移和速度的理论模型。设计并研制了一套基于光反馈效应的直接频率调制激光二极管光电探测系统。利用该系统对微弱机械振动信号进行了探测 ,表明该系统能用于肌肉震颤的测量。最后介绍了人体前臂内侧屈肌群紧张收缩时 ,肌肉震颤的光学测量结果     

Using multi-exposure of color fringes to measure the beating motion of a moth

A multi-exposure of color fringes method has been developed to improve the capture speed of a conventional color CCD camera. In the method, four groups of projected fringe patterns encoded with different colors and different directions are stored in one CCD frame. Therefore the capture frequency of the conventional CCD can be improved to 200 Hz. It is available to measure the insect wings with low beating frequency, such as dragonfly, moth, or butterfly, whose beating frequency is about 30–40 Hz. We have used the method to measure the beating motion of a moth successfully.     

聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯热氧化降解的化学动力学研究

使用质谱、热分析手段研究了PMMA热解反应 .结果表明 ,在氮气中 ,PMMA -CH =CH2 有两个失重阶段 ,分别对应于主链末端双键引发的断链和主链无规则断链反应 ,转折点的失重率约为 2 6 % .其中 ,第一阶段的失重速率受扩散过程控制 ,平均表观活化能E为 15 8.5kJ/mol,lnA为 2 7.6 9;第二失重阶段为 1.5级化学反应 ,平均表观活化能E为 2 14 .79kJ/mol,lnA为 4 0 .4 6 .在空气中 ,PMMA也有两个失重阶段 ,反应机理为 1级化学反应 ,转折点处的失重率约为 70 % .其中在第一失重阶段平均表观活化能E为 130 .32kJ/mol,lnA为 2 4 .81,在此阶段中 ,过氧化基团的分解反应对PMMA的失重速率有重要影响 ;在空气中第二失重阶段平均表观活化能E为 78.2 5kJ/mol,lnA为 13.97.     

基于新型长周期光纤光栅的掺铒光纤放大器

报道了基于高频CO₂激光脉冲写入的新型长周期光纤光栅的低噪音掺铒光纤放大器,这种新型长周期光纤光栅是用大约几千Hz的高频CO₂激光脉冲对光纤玻璃热冲击作用而形成的.在铒纤中插入一个长周期光纤光栅,会明显减少掺铒光纤放大器的放大自发辐射(ASE)噪音.报道了两种低噪音掺铒光纤放大器,作为前置放大器和线路放大器,它们的ASE噪音指数分别从4.0 dB减少到3.5 dB和从4.8 dB减少到4.3 dB,并且在作为线放时,其小信号增益从30 dB提高到37 dB,降噪及提高增益效应十分显著.     

光突发交换的交换控制策略和光缓存配置

光突发交换是面向下一代互联网的光交换模式.讨论了异步光突发交换系统的交换控制策略以及相应光缓存的优化配置策略.除了传统预约模式的交换策略,还研究了非预约和改进型预约模式,它们的性能评估由计算机仿真给出.结果表明:在条件相当情况下,改进型预约模式具有最低的丢包率.同时光缓存的配置对上述几类交换控制策略的性能都有很大影响,仿真结果指出:光缓存的粒度对系统性能具有重要影响,所讨论的几类交换模式都存在最佳时延粒度,研究结果对光交换矩阵的设计有指导意义.
