Novel radiopaque iodinated poly(ether urethane) (IPEU) was prepared by using iodine‐containing diol as chain extender in a normal two‐step condensation polymerization process. This new iodine‐containing diol was synthesized by iodination of terephthalic acid and then reaction with 3‐aminopropanol. The chemical structure of the diol chain extender and IPEU was characterized, and the basic properties of IPEU were measured and compared with PEU. X‐ray images showed that 15 wt % iodine‐containing IPEUs were highly radiopaque, and radiopacity did not decrease after 6‐week oxidative degradation treatment. Experimental results showed that IPEUs possessed good thermal stability, favorable mechanical properties, and noncytotoxicity. These results reveal that it is an effective route for the synthesis of biological polyurethane with radiopacity by using iodine‐containing diol as chain extender. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two process capabilities have been identified in the operations management literature to leverage supplier relationships for competitive performance: the ability to continuously improve processes with suppliers (process alignment) and the ability to make changes to these relationships (partnering flexibility). While firms may need both capabilities to be successful, it is unclear what strategy should be used to combine these two seemingly contradictory process capabilities. Using data collected from 318 manufacturing firms on a focal firm’s process capabilities to manage supplier relationships, we examine the performance impacts of two dimensions of a particular strategy: balancing (focusing on achieving a close match between the two process capabilities) and complementing (focusing on creating synergy between the two process capabilities). Our results indicate that the balancing dimension has a much stronger effect on a firm’s competitive performance than the complementing dimension. Also, when a firm pursues a high balance and strong complements strategy (combining high levels of both process capabilities), it is able to reduce its competitive performance risks more than when it pursues a high balance and weak complements strategy (combining low levels of both capabilities) or when it implements unbalanced strategies that emphasize either process alignment or partnering flexibility (combining low levels of one capability with high levels of the other). We conclude by discussing the theoretical contributions and practical guidelines.  相似文献

We describe here an aptasensor for the ultrasensitive detection of Staphylococcus aureus by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Single-stranded DNA was linked to a nanocomposite prepared from reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and gold nanoparticles (AuNP). Thiolated ssDNA was covalently linked to the AuNPs linked to rGO, and probe DNA was immobilized on the surface of an AuNP-modified glassy carbon electrode to capture and concentrate Staph. aureus. The probe DNA of the aptasensor selectively captures the target bacteria in its three-dimensional space, and these results in a dramatic increase in impedance. Scanning electron microscopy, cyclic voltammetry and EIS were used to monitor the single steps of the electrode assembly process. The effect was utilized to quantify the bacteria in the concentration range from 10 to 106 cfu mL?1 and with a detection limit of 10 cfu mL?1 (S/N?=?3). The relative standard deviation of Staphylococcus aureus detection was equal to 4.3 % (105 cfu mL?1, n?=?7). In addition to its sensitivity, the biosensor exhibits high selectivity over other pathogens.

为了改善La-Mg-Ni系合金电极的循环稳定性,对铸态合金La0.75Mg0.25Ni3.5Co0.2在0.3 MPa压力氩气保护下进行不同温度的退火(1123,1223和1323 K),保温时间均为10 h。系统研究了退火温度对合金的微观结构及电化学性能的影响。X射线衍射(XRD)和扫描电镜(SEM)研究结果表明,合金具有多相结构,当铸态及1123 K温度退火后合金主要由LaNi5,(La,Mg)2(Ni,Co)7相以及少量的LaNi2相组成。当退火温度为1223和1323 K时,合金中LaNi2相消失,合金主要由LaNi5,(La,Mg)2(Ni,Co)7及(La,Mg)(Ni,Co)3相组成。随退火温度提高,合金最大放电容量单调下降,但合金的循环稳定性得到改善。退火处理改善合金循环稳定性的原因在于退火后合金组织均匀,晶粒增大,在KOH电解质溶液中增强合金电极抗氧化腐蚀能力,抑制合金颗粒粉化。  相似文献

Hollow porous magnetic microspheres with strong magnetization and controllable structure were prepared via a facile electrostatic self-assembly of the positively charged Fe(3)O(4) nanoparticles onto the surface of the negatively charged poly(N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide-co-methacrylic acid) (P(MBAAm-co-MAA)) microspheres with subsequent removal of the polymer core through calcination at high temperature. The shell thickness was facilely tuned through the ratio between Fe(3)O(4) and polymer, and the void space was conveniently changed through the size of polymer microspheres. The hollow magnetic microspheres possessed high saturation magnetization value (51.38 emu/g) and porous structure with high specific surface area (108.04 m(2)/g). Based on these properties, the drug loading and release behaviors were investigated, which indicated that the hollow magnetic microspheres exhibited a controlled release process.  相似文献

This article describes the covalent grafting of pyromellitimide and 1,4,5,8-naphthalenediimide, which are organic semiconductors with very interesting electro-optical properties, onto the walls of mesoporous molecular sieves. The mesoporous materials MCM-41 and SBA-15 were first treated with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, generating materials with a surface coverage of primary amino groups. These materials were further reacted with either pyromellitic dianhydride or 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic dianhydride, generating surface-bound pyromellitimide or 1,4,5,8-naphthalenediimide, respectively. The success of the modification reactions was confirmed by elemental and thermogravimetric analyses, X-ray diffraction patterns and infrared, reflectance and fluorescence spectroscopies. The results indicated that the mesoporous structure of the new materials was preserved after the modification reactions and that the chromophores were included inside the mesoporous channels with stacked aromatic rings.  相似文献

Radiotherapy is a vital approach for brain tumor treatment. The standard treatment for glioblastoma (GB) is maximal surgical resection combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. However, the non-sensitivity of tumor cells in the hypoxic area of solid tumors to radiotherapy may cause radioresistance. Therefore, radiotherapy sensitizers that increase the oxygen concentration within the tumor are promising for increasing the effectiveness of radiation. Inspired by hemoglobin allosteric oxygen release regulators, a series of novel phenoxyacetic acid analogues were designed and synthesized. A numerical method was applied to determine the activity and safety of newly synthesized compounds. In vitro studies on the evaluation of red blood cells revealed that compounds 19c (∆P50 = 45.50 mmHg) and 19t (∆P50 = 44.38 mmHg) improve the oxygen-releasing property effectively compared to positive control efaproxiral (∆P50 = 36.40 mmHg). Preliminary safety evaluation revealed that 19c exhibited no cytotoxicity towards HEK293 and U87MG cells, while 19t was cytotoxic toward both cells with no selectivity. An in vivo activity assay confirmed that 19c exhibited a radiosensitization effect on orthotopically transplanted GB in mouse brains. Moreover, a pharmacokinetic study in rats showed that 19c was orally available.  相似文献
