Raman spectroscopic study of ceramic Sr2Bi4Ti5O18

Raman spectra of ceramic Sr2Bi4Ti5O18 （SBTi5） are reported to consist of four different Raman bands. Temperature-dependent spectra reveal the relationship between the lattice vibration and the material＇s structure. There appears a relatively large change in structure of the material at about 273K, The anharmonic potential of the material has a great influence on its phonon mode full width at half maximum （FWHM）, which can be expressed by a function of temperature. Theoretical fittings of the FWHMs for the two modes at around 312 cm^-1 and 464cm^-1 indicate that the latter phonon mode is more anharmonic than the former one.     

DIELECTRIC EFFECT ON THE RADIO-FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTICS OF A RECTANGULAR WAVEGUIDE GRATING TRAVELING WAVE TUBE

A new type of partial-dielectric-loaded rectangular waveguide grating slow-wave structure (SWS) for millimeter wave traveling wave tube (TWT) is presented in this paper. The radio-frequency characteristics including the dispersion properties, the longitudinal electric field distribution and the beam-wave coupling impedance of this structure are analyzed. The results show that the dispersion of the rectangular waveguide grating circuit is weakened, the phase velocity is reduced and the position of the maximum E _z is basically invariant after partially filling the dielectric materials in the rectangular waveguide grating SWS. Although the coupling impedance decreases a little, it still keeps above 40 Ω.     

Study on anti-emission materials for non-emitting grid applications in microwave power tubes

Hafnium and platinum were deposited onto molybdenum grids by ion-beam assisted deposition method. Electron-emission characteristics from molybdenum grids with Hf and Pt films, which were contaminated by active electron-emission substances (Ba, BaO) of the cathode, were measured using analogous diode method. The surfaces of grids were analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The results revealed that the reaction between BaO and Hf formed BaHfO₃ compound, which greatly reduced the accumulation of BaO on the surface and accordingly decreased grid emission. In contrast, Ba were formed by the decomposition of BaO on the surface of Pt film under high temperature and re-evaporated from its surface, which reduced the active electron-emission substances on the surface of the grid and effectively restrained grid emission. Their mechanisms for grid-emission suppression are discussed and a good method to develop new grid-coating materials is suggested.

Preemptive scheduling of interval orders is polynomial

In 1979, Papadimitriou and Yannakakis gave a polynomial time algorithm for the scheduling of jobs requiring unit completion times when the precedence constraints form an interval order. The authors solve here the corresponding problem, for preemptive scheduling (a job can be interrupted to work on more important tasks, and completed at a later time, subject to the usual scheduling constraints.) The m-machine preemptive scheduling problem is shown to have a polynomial algorithm, for both unit time and variable execution times as well, when the precedence constraints are given by an interval order.     

Finsler spaces with Riemannian geodesics

In Finsler spaces the intervalds=F(x ⁱ ,dx ⁱ ) is an arbitrary function of the coordinatesx ⁱ and coordinate incrementsdx ⁱ withF homogeneous of degree one in thedx ⁱ . It is shown that for Riemannian spacesds _R ²=g _ij dx ⁱ dx ⁱ which admit a non trivial covariantly constant tensorH _i .(x ^k ) there is an associated Finsler space with the same geodesic structure. The subset of such Finsler spaces withH _i .(x ^k ) a vector or second rank decomposable tensor is determined.     

He-HCl体系各向异性势及分波散射截面的理论研究

首先用BFW势函数形式拟合了在CCSD(T)/aug-cc-pVQZ理论水平下计算的He-HCl相互作用能数据，获得了He原子与HCl分子相互作用的各向异性势；然后采用CC近似方法计算了He-HCl碰撞体系的微分散射截面和分波散射截面，并总结了分波散射截面的变化规律.结果表明，拟合势不但表达形式简洁，而且较好地描述了He-HCl系统相互作用的各向异性特征；利用碰撞体系分子间势的量子化学从头计算结果，可解决势能参数难以确定的问题.对进一步研究原子与分子碰撞机理有一定参考价值. 关键词： 各向异性势 势能参数 密耦近似 分波散射截面     

自由曲面光学虚拟制造与检测系统的探讨

自由曲面光学产品设计、制造与检测的工艺流程，通常采取试凑法逐次逼近。由于加工 检测 再加工，循环往复，既费时，成本又高，产生了瓶颈问题。为了解决此弊端，本文运用虚拟制造技术，提出光学虚拟制造的基本构想，即虚拟制造系统结构模型，给出光学系统虚拟原型的构成和光学系统成像质量虚拟检测系统的构成，讨论光学成像质量的仿真检测以及敏度分析方法。研究结果表明：运用虚拟制造与检测技术，可缩短研发周期，降低成本，优化工艺并提高产品质量。     

An attempt on the calculation of relativistic potential energy curves: Noble gas difluorides

Total energy SCF calculations were performed for noble gas difluorides in a relativistic procedure and compared with analogous non-relativistic calculations. The discrete variational method with numerical basis functions was used. Rather smooth potential energy curves could be obtained. The theoretical Kr-F and Xe-F bond distances were calculated to be 3.5 a.u. and 3.6 a.u. which should be compared with the experimental values of 3.54 a.u. and 3.7 a.u. Although the dissociation energies are off by a factor of about five it was found that ArF₂ may be a stable molecule. Theoretical ionization energies for the outer levels reproduce the experimental values for KrF₂ and XeF₂ to within 2 eV.
