A numerical method is proposed for solving singularly perturbed one-dimensional parabolic convection–diffusion problems. The method comprises a standard implicit finite difference scheme to discretize in temporal direction on a uniform mesh by means of Rothe's method and B-spline collocation method in spatial direction on a piecewise uniform mesh of Shishkin type. The method is shown to be unconditionally stable and accurate of order O((Δx)2+Δt). An extensive amount of analysis has been carried out to prove the uniform convergence with respect to the singular perturbation parameter. Several numerical experiments have been carried out in support of the theoretical results. Comparisons of the numerical solutions are performed with an upwind finite difference scheme on a piecewise uniform mesh and exponentially fitted method on a uniform mesh to demonstrate the efficiency of the method. 相似文献

Isomeric cross-section ratios of evaporation residues formed in12C+93Nb and16O+89Y reactions were measured by recoil catcher technique followed by off-line γ-ray spectrometry in the beam energy range of
55.7–77.5 MeV for12C and 68–81 MeV for16O. The isomeric cross-section ratios were resolved into that for complete and incomplete fusion reactions. The angular momentum
of the intermediate nucleus formed in incomplete fusion was deduced from the isomeric cross-section ratio by considering the
statistical deexcitation of the incompletely fused composite nucleus. The data show that incomplete fusion is associated with
angular momenta slightly smaller than critical angular momentum for complete fusion, indicating the deeper interpenetration

Carvedilol was quantified in human plasma after a single 25 mg oral dose of the drug was given to 26 healthy volunteers. An applied Biosystems Sciex API 3200 triple quadrupole mass spectrometer in multiple reaction monitoring mode, using electrospray ionization in the positive ion mode was used. Simple solid phase extraction was followed by C18 reverse phase chromatography and tandem mass spectrometric detection using propranalol as the internal standard. The mean recovery for carvedilol was 91.2% with a lower limit of quantification of 0.5 ng mL?1. This validated assay method makes use of the increased sensitivity and selectivity of tandem mass spectrometry detection to allow for a more rapid and selective method for the determination of carvedilol in human plasma. 相似文献

In this paper, the governing relations and equations are derived for nonlocal elastic solid with voids. The propagation of time harmonic plane waves is investigated in an infinite nonlocal elastic solid material with voids. It has been found that three basic waves consisting of two sets of coupled longitudinal waves and one independent transverse wave may travel with distinct speeds. The sets of coupled waves are found to be dispersive, attenuating and influenced by the presence of voids and nonlocality parameters in the medium. The transverse wave is dispersive but non-attenuating, influenced by the nonlocality and independent of void parameters. Furthermore, the transverse wave is found to face critical frequency, while the coupled waves may face critical frequencies conditionally. Beyond each critical frequency, the respective wave is no more a propagating wave. Reflection phenomenon of an incident coupled longitudinal waves from stress-free boundary surface of a nonlocal elastic solid half-space with voids has also been studied. Using appropriate boundary conditions, the formulae for various reflection coefficients and their respective energy ratios are presented. For a particular model, the effects of non-locality and dissipation parameter (\(\tau \)) have been depicted on phase speeds and attenuation coefficients of propagating waves. The effect of nonlocality on reflection coefficients has also been observed and shown graphically. 相似文献

The aim of this study to focused on bioinspired synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) as a viable alternative to eradicate the existing physicochemical processes. In this context, the bioinspired AgNPs were synthesized using leaf extract of M. indica. Optimization of the experimental conditions for the rapid and high yield of AgNPs in minimum investment of time and expense have been carried out along with their antibacterial efficacy evaluated. For this reason, the variation of parameters like the concentration of the silver precursors, reducing agent, time, pH, and temperature of synthesis were realized. Synthesized AgNPs were characterized by UV-Visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. UV-Visible spectra gave surface plasmon resonance (SPR) at 440 nm for AgNPs. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques were further confirmed the synthesis and crystalline nature of AgNPs respectively. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observed spherical shapes of synthesized AgNPs within range 5~20 nm. The results of the current study indicate that optimization process play a pivotal role in the AgNPs synthesis and biogenic synthesized AgNPs might be used against bacterial pathogens. 相似文献

Quantum communication with terahertz (THz) frequency signals has many advantages like reduced attenuation and scintillation effects in certain atmospheric conditions along with very high level of data security. In this work, we propose a scheme to realize Quantum Memory (QM) for efficient storage of terahertz (THz) frequency signals using Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT) in an ultracold atomic medium of 87Rb Rydberg atoms prepared in a Two Dimensional Magneto Optical Trap (2D-MOT). The uniqueness of our scheme lies in the choice of the energy levels involved in the EIT process, all three of which have been chosen to be the Rydberg levels (enabling signal beam to be in THz) in a lambda type arrangement. This first of its kind proposal reveals that atomic media are a potential candidate for devising QMs which can store THz frequency signals. We have estimated that the Optical Depth (OD) in our scheme can reach a very high value of 690, very high maximum obtainable storage efficiency (η) of ~99%, the group velocity () can be as low as 5.07 × 103 m/s, and the Delay Bandwidth Product (DBP) can be as high as 9.5. All of these estimates emphasize the feasibility of our scheme as a QM device for efficient storage of THz pulses. 相似文献

Wide range of rotating machinery contains an inherent amount of unbalance which leads to increase in the vibration level and related faults. In this work, the effect of different operating conditions viz. the unbalanced weight, radius, speed and position of the rotor disc on the unbalance in rotating machine are studied experimentally and analyzed by using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). RSM is a technique which consists of mathematical and statistical methods to develop the relationship between the inputs and outputs of a system by distinct functions. L27 Orthogonal Array (OA) was developed by using Design of Experiments (DOE) according to which experimentation has been carried out. Three accelerometer sensors were mounted to record the vibration responses (accelerations) in radially vertical, horizontal and axial directions. The responses recorded as root mean square values are then analysed using RSM. The relationship between response and operating factors has been established by developing a second order, non-linear mathematical model. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) has been performed for verification of the developed mathematical models. Results obtained from the analysis show that the unbalance weight and speed are most significant operating conditions that contribute the most to the effect the unbalance has on the rotating spindle. 相似文献

We report an efficient synthetic strategy to diverse hydantoins and thiohydantoins involving a three‐component reaction with the aid of deep eutectic solvent. Here, N,N′‐dimethyl urea and N,N′‐dimethyl thiourea play a dual role as reactant and reaction medium along with l ‐(+)‐tartaric acid. The three‐component reaction provides an easy access to 5‐amino‐1,3‐dialkyl‐substituted hydantoins and thiohydantoins in good yields. 相似文献
