This article investigates the three-dimensional flow of Powell–Eyring nanofluid with thermophoresis and Brownian motion effects. The energy equation is considered in the presence of thermal radiation. The heat and mass flux conditions are taken into account. Mathematical formulation is carried out through the boundary layer approach. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into the nonlinear ordinary differential equations through suitable variables. The resulting nonlinear ordinary differential equations have been solved for the series solutions. Effects of emerging physical parameters on the temperature and nanoparticles concentration are plotted and discussed. Numerical values of local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are computed and examined.  相似文献

It is shown that sum of information entropies in position and momentum space, quantifies the temporal information in wave packet dynamics of a dynamical system. Quantum fractional revivals are investigated on these bases in periodically driven Fermi-Ulam accelerator. It is observed that the entropic measure provides deeper insight of the wave packet dynamics for the long time evolution as compared with conventional autocorrelation function. It is shown that these revival times are not symmetric in driven situations and may lead to a random behavior.  相似文献

We explain quantum revivals and fractional revivals in phase space of the Fermi?CUlam accelerator. We derive analytic expressions of the Wigner distribution function for the driven system describing quantum interferences in position and momentum space. We assume that the fractional revival times are nonrecurrent under certain conditions and display randomness in the occurrence of the phenomenon at these times.  相似文献

Riccati equation approach is used to look for exact travelling wave solutions of some nonlinear physical models.Solitary wave solutions are established for the modified KdV equation,the Boussinesq equation and the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation.New generalized solitary wave solutions with some free parameters are derived.The obtained solutions,which includes some previously known solitary wave solutions and some new ones,are expressed by a composition of Riccati differential equation solutions followed by a polynomial.The employed approach,which is straightforward and concise,is expected to be further employed in obtaining new solitary wave solutions for nonlinear physical problems.  相似文献

Abstract

In the present paper, we focus on a stochastic predator-prey model with stage structure for prey. Firstly, by using the stochastic Lyapunov function method, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of an ergodic stationary distribution of the positive solutions to the model. Then we establish sufficient conditions for extinction of the predator population in two cases. Some examples and numerical simulations are carried out to validate our analytical findings.  相似文献

This paper studies a food chain chemostat model with Monod response functions, which is perturbed by white noise. Firstly, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the global positive solution. Then sufficient conditions for the existence of a unique ergodic stationary distribution are established by constructing suitable Lyapunov functions. Moreover, we consider the extinction of microbes in two cases. In the first case, both the predator and prey species are extinct. In the second case, only the predator species is extinct, and the prey species survives. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献
