Interfacial area transport equation (IATE) is considered promising to evaluate dynamic changes of the interfacial area concentration in gas–liquid two-phase flows, which is of significance in characterizing the interfacial structure of the flows. Efforts were made by the authors in the past on the implementation of the IATE into computational fluid dynamics codes, such as Fluent. However, it remained unclear whether the IATE model coefficients derived from one-dimensional IATE model calibrations can be applied to three-dimensional simulations. The current study aimed to examine, primarily by investigating the lateral profiles of phase distributions, the applicability of the coefficients obtained from the one-dimensional IATE model calibration to a three-dimensional simulation of bubbly flow in a pipe. In addition, effects of the lift force on the lateral phase distributions were studied. A new set of the IATE model coefficients was suggested for a three-dimensional bubbly flow simulation. Six lanthanide compounds [Ln(H2O)9](m-BDTH)3·9(H2O) where Ln = La (1), and [Ln(H2O)8](m-BDTH)3·9(H2O) (m-BDTH2 = 1,3-benzeneditetrazol-5-yl) where Ln = Lu (2), Yb (3), Er (4), Ho (5) and Y (6) were hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectra, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD)
and X-ray single crystal diffraction. PXRD indicates that 2–6 are isomorphous. Structural analyses reveal that 1 is coordinated by nine water molecules forming a capped-square antiprism, while 2–6 are coordinated by eight water molecules forming a simple square antiprismatic geometry. Effects of water molecules on thermal
stability were also discussed by thermogravimetric (TG), DSC, and PXRD under different temperatures. TG analyses suggest that
1 loses lattice and coordinated water molecules with no diacritical boundary, and 6 removes lattice water molecules first and then coordinated water molecules. DSC and PXRD further confirm the consequence. 相似文献

In this paper, current-driven state-bistability and power-bistability in a distributed feedback (DFB) semiconductor laser
(LD) subject to external optical injection have been investigated experimentally. The results show that, by sweeping the bias
current of slave LD along different routes nearby the threshold, both the power-bistability and the state-bistability between
locking and bimodal regime can be observed under the suitable injection power, but these bistable phenomena will disappear

Gold microplates were synthesized in aqueous solutions by reducing HAuCl4 with the hydroxyl groups in both serine and threonine of bovine serum albumin (BSA), which is a globular protein in its native state. In this article, we systematically investigated the effects of temperature, pH value, the concentration of BSA, and ionic species on the reduction kinetics and thus the size and morphology of the final product. The optimal experimental conditions for producing uniform Au microplates include the following: an elevated temperature in the range of 55–65 °C, an acidic solution with pH≈3, and the presence of NaCl (0.14 M ). We found that if any one of these parameters was deviated from the optimal condition, Au microplates would not be formed in high yields. We also found that the surfaces of the as‐synthesized Au microplates were covered by a dense array of BSA bumps. 相似文献

采用高压均质法制备硫辛酸(ALA)脂质纳米粒(ALA-NLC),确定了负载ALA的最佳体系。通过高效液相色谱、动态光散射、流变等测试研究了脂质成分、含量对ALA负载、ALA-NLC稳定性和分散液流变性质的影响,并用原子力显微镜观察了ALA-NLC的形貌。结果表明,脂质/ALA质量比在4.5∶1~6∶1之间,得到的脂质纳米粒分散均匀,颗粒规则;脂质中液态油脂的增加有利于保持ALA-NLC的粒径,储存稳定性和分散液的低粘度,并得到两个有望用于食品工业的ALA-NLC配方。 相似文献
