Improvement on delay dependent absolute stability of Lurie control systems with multiple time delays

Absolute stability of Lurie control systems with multiple time-delays is studied in this paper. By using extended Lyapunov functionals, we avoid the use of the stability assumption on the main operator and derive improved stability criteria, which are strictly less conservative than the criteria in [2] and [3].     

Linear convergence of the generalized Douglas–Rachford algorithm for feasibility problems

In this paper, we study the generalized Douglas–Rachford algorithm and its cyclic variants which include many projection-type methods such as the classical Douglas–Rachford algorithm and the alternating projection algorithm. Specifically, we establish several local linear convergence results for the algorithm in solving feasibility problems with finitely many closed possibly nonconvex sets under different assumptions. Our findings not only relax some regularity conditions but also improve linear convergence rates in the literature. In the presence of convexity, the linear convergence is global.     

Continuity of solution maps of parametric quasiequilibrium problems

In this article, we consider a parametric vector quasiequilibrium problem in topological vector spaces. Sufficient conditions for solution maps to be lower and Hausdorff lower semicontinuous, upper semicontinuous and continuous are established. Our results improve recent existing ones in the literature.     

Mathematical Evaluation of EBSD Data

In this work, a short overview is given, how data resulting from Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) measurements can be used to obtain a discrete version of the Orientation Distribution Function (ODF). Discrete ODFs are necessary, e.g. for micromechanically based simulations of metal forming operations based on the finite element method. To use EBSD data for simulations several processing steps are necessary as conversion and segmentation of the EBSD measurement data [1], definition of a fundamental zone in Euler space and a procedure for the tesselation of this zone [2]. New isomeric states in 152,154,156Nd produced by spontaneous fission of 252Cf

Isomeric states have been observed in fission-fragments produced by spontaneous fission of ²⁵²Cf. These states are found in neutron rich nuclei of different structure and deformations. About 50 isomeric nuclei have been observed using coincidences between γ-rays identified in EUROGAM II and fission fragments detected in photovoltaic cells (SAPhIR). Lifetimes in the range from 20 ns to 2μs have been measured. Presented calculations based on HFB +D1S force on new measured isomeric states in the ^152,154,156Nd show evidence for K-isomers. C - axis resistivity of stages 1–7 potassium-intercalated graphite

Temperature-dependent c-axis resistivity measurements on stages 1–7 potassium-graphite compounds show a crossover from metallic to activated behaviour between stages 4 and 5, as well as the onset of a new type of anomaly for stage ≥4. KC₈ shows in addition a tendency toward a metal-insulator transition below 40K. The high-stage transport process is discussed in terms of weak depletion of the interior layers by interlayer screening. We suggest that the high stage anomalies reflect an instability in the c-axis charge distribution.     

Study of the isomeric ratios in photonuclear reactions of natural holmium and lutetium induced by bremsstrahlungs with endpoint energies in the giant dipole resonance region

We have determined the isomeric ratios in ¹⁶⁵Ho(γ, n)^164m,gHo and ¹⁷⁵Lu(γ, n)^174m,gLu photonuclear reactions of natural holmium and lutetium induced by bremsstrahlungs with end-point energies in the giant dipole resonance (GDR) region. The investigated samples were irradiated at electron accelerator Microtron MT-25 of the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reaction, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Russia. The gamma spectra of the samples irradiated were measured with spectroscopic system consisting of 8192 channel analyzer and high-energy resolution (180 keV at gamma ray 1332 keV of ⁶⁰Co) HP(Ge) semiconductor detector Canberra. The GENIE2000 (Canberra) computer program was used for data processing. The results were discussed and compared with those of other authors.
