A general method has been developed to control the selective rearrangement of Meijer's AADD quadruply hydrogen-bonded homodimers by introducing an additional donor-acceptor interaction. Therefore, one donor-assembling monomer, 1, in which the electron-rich bis(p-phenylene)-34-crown-10 moiety is connected to the hydrogen-bonding moiety, and two acceptor-assembling monomers, 2 and 3, in which the electron-deficient pyromellitic diimide or naphthalene diimide group is incorporated, respectively, are synthesized and characterized. 1H NMR and 2D-NOESY studies show that all these compounds exist as stable homodimers in chloroform. Mixing 1 equiv of 1 with 1 equiv of 2 in chloroform leads to the formation of heterodimers 1.2 in approximately 60 % yield, as a result of the electrostatic interaction between the bis(p-phenylene)-34-crown-10 moiety of 1 and the pyromellitic diimide group of 2. Selective formation of heterodimer 1.3 (>97 %) was achieved by mixing 1 equiv of 1 with 1 equiv of 3 in chloroform which resulted in a strengthened electrostatic interaction between the bis(p-phenylene)-[34]crown-10 moiety of 1 and the naphthalene diimide group of 3. The structures of heterodimers 1.2 and 1.3, which have been characterized by 1H NMR and UV/Vis experiments, reveal a remarkable promoting effect between the donor-acceptor interaction and intermolecular hydrogen-bonding. 1H NMR studies also reveal that heterodimers 1.2 and 1.3 can be fully and partially dissociated by addition of heterocycle 29, leading to the formation of new more robust heterodimers 1.29 and 2.29, or 3.29,respectively, and partially regenerated by subsequent addition of heterocyclic compound 30 through the formation of a new heterodimer 29.30. Heterodimers 1.2 and 1.3 represent a novel class of pseudo[2]rotaxanes constructed by two different noncovalent interactions.  相似文献

Crown ethers and terpyridine ligands have been successfully attached to the focal point of light harvesting phenylacetylene monodendrons through Pd-catalyzed coupling reactions. The structures of these functional monodendrons were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. Such binding-ligand anchored dendrons exhibit broad absorption, large molar extenction coefficients and high fluoresence quantum yields. Coordination of crown ethers with alkali ions results in a significant increase in absorption strength in the UV range, but little alteration in either intensity or position of fluorescence emission. Coordination of terpyridine ligands with Ru2+, however, does efficiently quench the fluorescence from the dendrons,albeit only the smallest dendron exhibits efficient binding.  相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the asymptotic behaviour of the ground state solution of Hénon equation −Δu=|x|αup−1 in Ω, u=0 on ∂Ω (Ω⊂Rn is a ball centered at the origin). It proved that for p close to 2∗=2n/(n−2)(n?3), the ground state solution up has a unique maximum point xp and as p→2∗. In this Letter we report a novel self-organized copper electrodeposition in an ultrathin layer of CuSO4 electrolyte. The macroscopic fingering branches of the deposit consist of long copper filaments covered with periodic corrugated nanostructures. The mechanism of the nanostructure formation is explored and the origin of the significant descent of the branching rate in electrodeposition is discussed. We suggest that this growth phenomenon provides deeper insights into the role of diffusion and migration on pattern formation in electrodeposition.  相似文献

From a sample of 1172 +/- 61 D(+)-->pi(-)pi(+)pi(+) decays, we find gamma(D(+)-->pi(-)pi(+)pi(+))/gamma(D(+)-->K-pi(+)pi(+)) = 0.0311 +/- 0.0018(+0.0016)(-0.0026). Using a coherent amplitude analysis to fit the Dalitz plot of these decays, we find strong evidence that a scalar resonance of mass 478(+24)(-23) +/- 17 MeV/c(2) and width 324(+42)(-40) +/- 21 MeV/c(2) accounts for approximately half of all decays.  相似文献
