Mesoporous silicas such as SBA-15 and MCM-41 are being actively investigated for potential applications in catalysis, separations, and synthesis of nanostructured materials. A new method for functionalizing these mesoporous silicas with aromatic phenols is described. The resulting novel hybrid materials possess silyl aryl ether linkages to the silica surface that are thermally stable to ca. 550 degrees C, but can be easily cleaved at room temperature with aqueous base for quantitative recovery of the organic moieties. The materials have been characterized by nitrogen physisorption, FTIR, NMR, and quantitative analysis of surface coverages. The maximum densities of 1,3-diphenylpropane (DPP) molecules that could be grafted to the surface were less than those measured on a nonporous, fumed silica (Cabosil) and were also found to decrease as a function of decreasing pore size (5.6-1.7 nm). This is a consequence of steric congestion in the pores that is magnified at the smaller pore sizes, consistent with parallel studies conducted using a conventional silylating reagent, 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisilazane. Pyrolysis of the silica-immobilized DPP revealed that pore confinement leads to enhanced rates and altered product selectivity for this free-radical reaction compared with the nonporous silica, and the rates and selectivities also depended on pore size. The influence of confinement is discussed in terms of enhanced encounter frequencies for bimolecular reaction steps and pore surface curvature that alters the accessibility and resultant selectivity for hydrogen transfer steps.  相似文献

Up-conversion luminescence properties of a Tm3+/Yb3+ codoped oxyfluoride glass-ceramics under 980 nm excitation are investigated. Intense blue emission centered at 476 nm, corresponding to 1G4-->3H6 transitions of Tm3+ was simultaneously observed in the transparent oxyfluoride glass ceramics at room temperature. The intensity of the blue up-conversion luminescence in a 1 mol% YbF3-containing glass-ceramic was found to be about 40 times stronger than that in the precursor oxyfluoride glass. The reason for the intense Tm3+ up-conversion luminescence in the oxyfluoride glass-ceramics is discussed. The dependence of up-conversion intensities on excitation power and possible up-conversion mechanism are also evaluated.  相似文献

A series of chalcohalide glasses based on the composition 0.9 (Ge25 Ga5 S70)-0.1CsI doped with the different Tm3+ / Dy3+ ions ratio were synthesized by melt-quenching technique. The absorption spectra, and mid-infrared fluorescence of different glass samples under 800 nm laser excitation were measured. The results prove that, Tm3+ is an efficient sensitizer, which can enhance the Dy3+ : 2.9 microm fluorescence intensity significantly. A decrease in the intensity of 1.8 microm fluorescence and lifetimes of the Tm3+ : (3)F4 level occurred with increasing the concentration of Dy3+ ions from 0 to 1 Wt% where Tm3+ concentration was fixed to 0.5 Wt%. Also a wide spectral overlap between Tm+ : 1.8 microm emission and the absorption of Dy3+ : 6 H(15/2) --> (6)H(11/2) showed that the effective energy transfer between the two rare-earth ions was mainly attributed to the resonance energy from Tm3+: (3)F4 to Dy(3)+ : (6)H(11/2) level.  相似文献

针孔单光子发射计算机断层(SPECT)成像的空间分辨率通常是根据Anger经验公式来进行估算,与实际测量存在较大偏差.本文通过对针孔成像的物理过程进行分析,提出了一个近似度更高的计算公式.利用精确的蒙特卡罗方法模拟针孔SPECT成像,采用OSEM(ordered subsets expectation maximization)算法对投影数据进行图像重建,并与模具实验进行比较,验证了理论公式的适用性.同时还讨论了体素尺寸、几何映射获取投影矩阵以及探测器尺寸与成像物体尺寸比值对断层图像空间分辨率的影响.实验结果显示,该理论公式所估算的空间分辨率比实验值平均偏小约10%,而Anger经验公式所估算的空间分辨率比实验值平均偏大约60%.因此,该理论公式能更好地估算针孔SPECT成像的空间分辨率,可为针孔SPECT系统的设计和使用提供有价值的参考.  相似文献
