Related referential studies on gas-solid two-phase flows were briefly reviewed. Bubble ascending in a two-dimensional (2D) gas-solid fluidized bed was studied both experimentally and numerically. A modified continuum model expressed in the conservation form was used in numerical simulation. Solid-phase pressure was modeled via local sound speed; gas-phase turbulence was described by the K-ε two-equation model. The modified implicit multiphase formulation (IMF) scheme was used to solve the model equations in 2D Cartesian/cylindrical coordinates. The bubble ascending velocity and particle motion in the 2D fluidized bed were measured using the photochromic dye activation (PDA) technique, which was based on UV light activation of particles impregnated with the dye. Effects of bed height and superficial gas velocity on bubble formation and ascent were investigated numerically. The numerically obtained bubble ascending velocities were compared with experimental measurements. Gas bubble in jetting gas-solids fluidized bed was also simulated numerically.  相似文献

Silicon nitride nanoparticles were synthesized by radio-frequency (RF) plasma chemical vapor deposition (PCVD) using silicon tetrachloride and ammonia as precursors, and argon as carrier gas. By assuming chemical thermodynamic equilibrium in the system, a computer program based on chemical thermodynamics was used to calculate the compositions of the system at different initial concentrations and final temperatures. At first, five elements and thirty-four species were considered. The effects of temperatures, and concentrations of ammonia, hydrogen and nitrogen on the equilibrium compositions were analyzed. It was found that the optimal reaction temperature range should be 1200 to 1500 K to obtain the highest conversion and yield of Si3N4. The inlet position of ammonia should be lower than that of silicon tetrachloride, and both should be located at the tail of the plasma torch. The best moleratio of ammonia to silicon tetrachloride was found to be about 6. Later, the influences of water (.and oxygen) were considered, and 17 additional species were included in the computations. It was found that oxygen or water content in the raw materials should be as low as possible in order to have high nitride content in the produced Si3N4. Nitrogen or hydrogen might be used to replace some or even all the argon to improve the yield of silicon nitride and reduce the cost. The ratio of ammonia to silicon tetrachloride should be high enough to obtain high conversion, but not excessively high to reduce the oxygen content due to the existence of water in ammonia. Numerical simulation of gas-solid flow in a two-dimensional fluidized bed with an inclined jet was performed. The numerical model is based on the two-fluid model of gas and solids phase in which the solids constitutive equations are based on the kinetic theory of granular flow. The improved ICE algorithm, which can be used for both low and high-velocity fluid flow, were used to solve the model equations. The mechanism of jet formation was analyzed using both numerical simulations and experiments. The emergence and movement of gas bubbles were captured numerically and experimentally. The influences of jet velocity, nozzle diameter, nozzle inclination and jet position on jet penetration length were obtained. A semi-empirical expression was derived and the parameters were correlated from experimental data. The correlation equation, which can be easily used to obtain the inclined jet penetration length, was compared with our experimental data and published correlation equations.  相似文献

The hydrodynamic behavior of fine powders in jet-fluidized beds was studied numerically and experimentally. The starting point of numerical simulation was the generalized Navier-Stokes (N-S) equations for the gas and solids phases. The K-εturbulence model was used for high-speed gas jets in fluidized beds. Computation shows that a suitable turbulence model is necessary to obtain agreement between the simulation and literature experimental data for a high-speed gas jet. The model was applied to simulating the fluidization of fine powders in fluidized beds with an upward or a downward air jet. An empirical cohesion model was obtained by correlating the cohesive force between fine particles using a cohetester. The cohesion model was embedded into the two-fluid model to simulate the fluidization of fine powders in two-dimensional (2-D) beds. To study the fluidization behavior of fine and cohesive powders with a downward jet,experiments were performed in a 2-D bed. Agreement between the computed time-averaged porosity and measured data was obtained. With an upward jet in the bed center, the measured and computed porosities show a dilute centralcore, especially at very high jet velocities. Based on our experiments and computations, a downward jet located inside the bed is recommended to achieve better mixing and contacting of gas and solids.  相似文献

Herein we describe a novel and simple conjugated polymer‐fluorescent probe based platform for trypsin detection from protein mixtures in homogeneous solution. This platform takes advantage of specific interaction between the probe and the active site of trypsin and the electrostatic interaction between the polymer and the protein to mediate energy transfer between the polymer and the probe. This method does not require any separation steps, which should facilitate high‐throughput protease screening and drug discovery.

This paper investigates the Lagrange global exponential stability of the quaternion-valued memristive neural networks (QVMNNs). Two kinds of activation functions based on different assumptions are considered. Then, based on the Lyapunov function approach, decomposition method, and some inequality skills, two novel sufficient conditions for lagrange stability of QVMNNs are provided corresponding to different types of activation functions. Lastly, simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the correctness of our theoretical results.  相似文献
