In the present work methyl methacrylate-co-itaconic acid (MMA-co-IA) hydrogels were synthesized by free radical copolymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and itaconic acid (IA) using ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) and methylene bisacrylamide (MBAAm) as crosslinkers and benzoyl peroxide as initiator. Selected samples were loaded with model drug lactulose. For the lactulose release, the effect of pH, monomeric compositions, degree of crosslinking were investigated. The release of lactulose was studied for 8 h period in USP phosphate buffer solutions of varying pH 1.2, 5.5, 6.5 and 7.0. The drug release data were fitted into various kinetics models like the zero order, first order, Higuchi and Peppas. The release kinetics of lactulose from MMA/IA hydrogels was found to be best described by the Peppas model. Results showed that drug release increased by increasing IA content in the hydrogels but the effect of changing of crosslinking ratio on drug release was not significant. The surface morphology of MMA/IA drug loaded hydrogel was studied by SEM which revealed uniform distribution of the drug in the hydrogels. In conclusion, it can be said that lactulose can be successfully incorporated into crosslinked MMA/IA hydrogels and its release can be modulated by changing the mole fraction of the acid component in the gels.  相似文献

Lithium argyrodite-type electrolytes are regarded as promising electrolytes due to their high ionic conductivity and good processability. Chemical modifications to increase ionic conductivity have already been demonstrated, but the influence of these modifications on interfacial stability remains so far unknown. In this work, we study Li6PS5Cl and Li5.5PS4.5Cl1.5 to investigate the influence of halogenation on the electrochemical decomposition of the solid electrolyte and the chemical degradation mechanism at the cathode interface in depth. Electrochemical measurements, gas analysis and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry indicate that the Li5.5PS4.5Cl1.5 shows pronounced electrochemical decomposition at lower potentials. The chemical reaction at higher voltages leads to more gaseous degradation products, but a lower fraction of solid oxygenated phosphorous and sulfur species. This in turn leads to a decreased interfacial resistance and thus a higher cell performance.  相似文献

In the current study, a nanophotocatalyst doped with of TiO2 and Fe2O3 nanoparticles supported on Iranian clinoptilolite was synthesized and characterized by XRD, XRF, SEM, and EDX analyses. The results suggested the successful loading of TiO2 and Fe2O3 nanoparticles onto the surface of clinoptilolite. The SEM images confirmed the average size of nanoparticles deposited on zeolite, which was about 20–40 nm. Furthermore, application of the synthesized photocatalyst in photocatalytic degradation of Acid Black 172 dye was studied using the Taguchi method and the chosen parameters were as follows: pH (2–7), dye concentration (50–200 mg/l), irradiation time (30–120 min), and catalyst dosage (0.5–1.5 g/l). The results indicate that dye concentration, pH, and irradiation time are respectively the most effective factors in these experiments while with the minimum dosage of the catalyst (0.5 g/l), up to 90 % removal efficiency could be achieved. The optimum value for each parameter was pH = 2, dye concentration = 50 mg/l, catalyst dosage = 1 g/l and irradiation time = 60 min, and the dye removal efficiency reached up to 100 % at these optimal conditions. Furthermore, after five-times recycling and reusing the catalyst, the efficiency of the photocatalytic degradation was reduced from 91.5 to 65.9 %, which is still an acceptable value.  相似文献

A versatile two-step, one-pot reaction to access N-substituted-2H-indazol-2-amine derivatives has been elaborated. A diverse set of analogues was obtained by a sequential hydrazone formation and reductive cyclization in moderate to good yields from readily available starting materials. In this paper, a non-isobaric Marangoni boundary layer flow that can be formed along the interface of immiscible nanofluids in surface driven flows due to an imposed temperature gradient, is considered. The solution is determined using a similarity solution for both the momentum and energy equations and assuming developing boundary layer flow along the interface of the immiscible nanofluids. The resulting system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations is solved numerically using the shooting method along with the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method. Numerical results are obtained for the interface velocity, the surface temperature gradient as well as the velocity and temperature profiles for some values of the governing parameters, namely the nanoparticle volume fraction φ (0≤φ≤0.2) and the constant exponent β. Three different types of nanoparticles, namely Cu, Al2O3 and TiO2 are considered by using water-based fluid with Prandtl number Pr =6.2. It was found that nanoparticles with low thermal conductivity, TiO2, have better enhancement on heat transfer compared to Al2O3 and Cu. The results also indicate that dual solutions exist when β<0.5. The paper complements also the work by Golia and Viviani (Meccanica 21:200–204, 1986) concerning the dual solutions in the case of adverse pressure gradient.  相似文献

The ablation of Cd has been performed by employing Q-switched Nd: YAG 10 ns laser pulses with a central wavelength of 1064 nm for a pulsed energy of 200 mJ under various ambient environments of argon, air and helium. The optical emission spectroscopy of Cd plasma has been studied under different filling pressures of shield gases ranging from 5 torr to 760 torr using LIBS spectrometer system. The effect of different gases and their pressures on the intensity of spectral emission, electron temperature and density of the laser-produced plasma has been investigated. SEM analysis has been performed to investigate the dependence of surface morphological changes of an irradiated target on the nature and pressure of an ambient gas. A strong correlation has revealed the vital role of electron temperature and density of laser-induced plasma for the surface modification of Cd. These results strongly indicate that the nature and pressure of the ambient atmosphere is one of the controlling factors of the plasma characteristics, as well as the factors related to the laser energy absorption for surface modification.  相似文献

A series of four polypyridyl Ru(II) complexes such as [Ru(L)4(PIP)]2+ and [Ru(L)4PPIP]2+ where L is 4-amino pyridine and Pyridine (PIP?=?2-phenylimidazo[4,5-f] [1, 10] phenanthroline), (PPIP?=?2-(4??-phenoxy-phenyl) imidazo[4,5-][1, 10]phenanthroline) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, physicochemical methods such as UV?Cvis, IR and NMR spectroscopic techniques. The DNA-binding behavior of these complexes was investigated by electronic absorption titrations, fluorescence spectroscopy, viscosity measurements and salt-dependent studies. The experimental results indicate that all these complexes can bind to DNA through an intercalation mode, the DNA-binding affinities of these complexes follow the order [Ru(4-APy)4(PPIP)]2+(1)?>?[Ru(Py)4PPIP]2+(2)?>?[Ru(4-APy)4(PIP)]2+(3)?>?[Ru(Py)4PIP]2+(4). Noticeably, these complexes have been found to be efficient photosensitisers for strand scissions in plasmid DNA. Further, all four complexes screened for their antimicrobial activity indicate that the complexes show appreciable activity against Escherichia coli and Neurospora Crassa. In addition, in the presence of Co2+, the emission of DNA-[Ru(L4)PPIP/PIP]2+ can be quenched and recovered by the addition of EDTA, which exhibited the DNA ??light switch?? properties.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of free convection boundary layer flow on a solid sphere in a micropolar fluid with Newtonian heating, in which the heat transfer from the surface is proportional to the local surface temperature, is considered. The transformed boundary layer equations in the form of partial differential equations are solved numerically using an implicit finite-difference scheme. Numerical solutions are obtained for the local wall temperature, the local skin friction coefficient, as well as the velocity, angular velocity and temperature profiles. The features of the flow and heat transfer characteristics for different values of the material or micropolar parameter K, the Prandtl number Pr and the conjugate parameter γ are analyzed and discussed.  相似文献
