Esterification of carboxylic acids and transesterification of β-ketoesters with alcohols have been developed using a catalytic amount of iodine in polyethylene glycol (PEG) ionic liquid (IL 1000) to afford the corresponding esters in good yields. By simple separation of the ionic-liquid phase containing the iodine, the system of I2/IL 1000 can be reused several times.  相似文献

Cerium(IV) ammonium nitrate (CAN)-mediated oxidation of methylenecyclobutanes was investigated. Compared with the similar reactions of methylenecyclopropanes, the reaction products were quite different. Instead of the desired ring-enlarged product cyclopentanones, a cyclobutyl ring-intact product, spirocyclobutyl-1,2-dioxethane, was obtained. The structures of these spiroheterocycle-containing compounds are interesting, and the reactions are potentially valuable in both organic synthesis and mechanism research.

A new sesquiterpene lactone, rufescenolide C (1), the first furanoheliangolide dimer, was isolated from the leaves of Piptocoma rufescens, collected in the Dominican Republic. Its structure was determined by interpretation of its spectroscopic data, with the absolute configuration being established by analysis of the CD spectrum. A plausible biogenesis of this dimer is proposed. This compound showed potent cytotoxicity with an IC50 value of 150 nM, when tested against HT-29 human colon cancer cells.  相似文献

Present article deals with functionality of silver nanostructured surfaces prepared by potentiostatic electrochemical deposition on the paraffin impregnated graphite electrode as template‐free substrates. The effect of the electrodeposition conditions on two silver surface functions: analytical signal enhancement in Surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy and pre‐ionization function, applied in secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) is reported. Functional silver nanostructured substrate was prepared at a potential ?850 mV with a deposition duration of 20 min. Analytical signal enhancement factors of 3.2 ×105 for Raman peak at 649 cm?1, 3.0×105 for peak at 810 cm?1 and 2.7×105 for peak at 1539 cm?1 were determined for Rhodamine 6G at deposited surface. Slight pre‐ionization effect has been observed in SIMS, and 1.2×105 fold signal enhancement was established for fragment of Rhodamine 6G with m/z 429 (M‐CH3‐Cl). Electrochemical preparation of nanostructures represents a step towards surface integration directly into miniaturized systems and sensors. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Biologically active peptides derived from complex bovine milk protein hydrolysates are of particular interest in food science and nutrition because they have been shown to play different physiological roles, providing benefits in human health. In this study, we used CE‐TOF‐MS for separation and identification of bioactive peptides in three hypoallergenic infant milk formulas. An appropriate sample cleanup using a citrate buffer with DTT and urea followed by SPE with Sep‐Pack® C18 and StrataXTM cartridges allowed the detection of a large number of low molecular mass bioactive peptides. This preliminary identification was solely based on the measured experimental monoisotopic molecular mass values (Mexp). Later, we evaluated the classical semiempirical relationships between electrophoretic mobility and charge‐to‐mass ratio (me vs. q/Mα, α = 1/2 for the classical polymer model) to describe their migration behavior. The assistance of migration prediction proved to be useful to improve reliability of the identification, avoiding misinterpretations and solving some identity conflicts. After revision, the identity of 24, 30, and 38 bioactive peptides was confirmed in each of the three infant milk formulas. A significant number of these peptides were reported as inhibitors of angiotensin‐converting enzyme, however, the presence of sequences with other biological activities such as antihypertensive, antithrombotic, hypocholesterolemic, immunomodulation, cytotoxicity, antioxidant, antimicrobial, antigenic, or opioid was also confirmed.  相似文献

The research work on why and how distribution bimodality tends to reduce the viscosity of a particulate suspension is reviewed. The transfer of the corresponding concepts to emulsions requires some statistical tools, and becomes particularly easy with probability scale plotting which is reviewed. Viscosity reduction can be attained for different kinds of fine and coarse emulsion associations. The results are shown to depend on the characteristics of the base emulsions as well as on the way they are mixed.  相似文献

In the present study, the electronic energy transfer pathways in trimeric and hexameric aggregation state of cyanobacteria C‐phycocyanin (C‐PC) were investigated in term of the Förster theory. The corresponding excited states and transition dipole moments of phycocyanobilins (PCBs) located into C‐PC were examined by model chemistry in gas phase at time‐dependent density functional theory (TDDFT), configuration interaction‐singles (CIS), and Zerner's intermediate neglect of differential overlap (ZINDO) levels, respectively. Then, the long‐range pigment‐protein interactions were approximately taken into account by using polarizable continuum model (PCM) at TDDFT level to estimate the influence of protein environment on the preceding calculated physical quantities. The influence of the short‐range interaction caused by aspartate residue nearby PCBs was examined as well. Only when the protonation of PCBs and its long‐ and short‐range interactions were properly taken into account, the calculated energy transfer rates (1/K) in the framework of Förster model at TDDFT/B3LYP/6‐31+G* level were in good agreement with the experimental results of C‐PC monomer and trimer. Furthermore, the present calculated results suggested that the energy transfer pathway in C‐PC monomer is predominant from β‐155 to β‐84 (1/K = 13.4 ps), however, from α‐84 of one monomer to β‐84 (1/K = 0.3–0.4 ps) in a neighbor monomer in C‐PC trimer. In C‐PC hexamer, an additional energy flow was predicted to be from β‐155 (or α‐84) in top trimer to adjacent β‐155 (or α‐84) (1/K = 0.5–2.7 ps) in bottom trimer. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Glycodendrimers are neoglycoconjugates that can be considered as bioisosters of glycoproteins, since they can mimic the multivalent interactions of lectin-carbohydrate. The ability of glycodendrimers to present multivalent interactions with lectins as compared to a monovalent ligand is referred to as “cluster effect”. It is expected that, because of the cluster effect, glycodendrimers would result in a better association with lectins than mono-carbohydrate anchored systems. Radioisotopes are useful to evaluate biodistribution of molecules. This study is important to obtain information about molecule–receptor interactions. Indeed, such study can provide an exquisite tool to evaluate the affinity of certain molecules to specific areas in the body, leading to the development of new radiopharmaceuticals and/or drug delivery systems. Herein, we describe a d-galactose coated low molecular weight PAMAM G0 dendrimer that was successfully radiolabeled with technetium-99m. Biodistribution studies and scintigraphic images were performed in healthy mice. It was observed high liver uptake which was significantly reduced in blocking studies, indicating hepatic specificity. Therefore, low molecular weight glycodendrimer can be considered as useful platform for selective targeting of drugs to the liver and to assess hepatic function.  相似文献

Using a majorization technique that identifies the maximal and minimal vectors of a variety of subsets of ${\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ , we find upper and lower bounds for the Kirchhoff index K(G) of an arbitrary simple connected graph G that improve those existing in the literature. Specifically we show that $$K(G) \geq \frac{n}{d_{1}} \left[ \frac{1}{1+\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n-1}}} + \frac{(n-2)^{2}}{n-1-\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n-1}}}\right] ,$$ where d 1 is the largest degree among all vertices in G, $$\sigma ^{2} = \frac{2}{n} \sum_{(i, j) \in E} \frac{1}{d_{i}d_{j}} = \left( \frac{2}{n}\right) R_{-1}(G),$$ and R ?1(G) is the general Randi? index of G for ${\alpha =-1}$ . Also we show that $$K(G) \leq \frac{n}{d_{n}}\left( \frac{n-k-2}{1-\lambda _{2}}+\frac{k}{2}+\frac{1}{\theta}\right) ,$$ where d n is the smallest degree, ${\lambda _{2}}$ is the second eigenvalue of the transition probability of the random walk on G, $$k = \left \lfloor \frac{\lambda _{2} \left( n-1\right) +1}{\lambda _{2}+1}\right\rfloor {\rm and}\quad\theta = \lambda _{2} \left( n-k-2\right) -k+2.$$   相似文献

Novel liquid crystal materials based on 1,3,5-benzenetrisamide derivatives with three pendant 2-phenyl-5-(mono-, di-, and/or tri-n-alkoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole arms (Ia–c, IIa–c) were prepared. The mesomorphic properties of these compounds were characterised and studied by differential scanning calorimetry, polarising optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The formation of a columnar mesophase was found to be dependent on the number of alkoxy side chains. The compounds Ib and IIb, with a total of six alkoxy chains, and compounds Ic and IIc, with nine alkoxy chains, exhibited an enantiotropic hexagonal columnar (Colh ) phase with high isotropisation temperatures; however, compounds Ia and IIa with a total of three alkoxy chains formed a crystalline phase. Compounds IIb and c were room temperature liquid crystals.  相似文献
