Bidentate phosphine ligands in palladium-catalyzed intramolecular Heck reactions of 2-chloroquinolin-3-yl-(1-homoallyl)alcohols are described to afford facile synthesis of 3-methylene-2,3-dihydro-1H-cyclopenta[b]quinolines in improved yields. We further observed using bulky aromatic phosphine ligand in Pd-catalyzed intermolecular Heck coupling reaction at olefinic centers with iodobenzene also favored exclusively Heck products in excellent yield.  相似文献

Epoxides have recently been identified as important intermediates in the gas phase oxidation of hydrocarbons, and their hydrolysis products have been observed in ambient aerosols. To evaluate the role of epoxides in the formation of secondary organic aerosols (SOA), the kinetics and mechanism of heterogeneous reactions of two model epoxides, isoprene oxide and α-pinene oxide, with sulfuric acid, ammonium bisulfate, and ammonium sulfate have been investigated using complementary experimental techniques. Kinetic experiments using a fast flow reactor coupled to an ion drift-chemical ionization mass spectrometer (ID-CIMS) show a fast irreversible loss of the epoxides with the uptake coefficients (γ) of (1.7 ± 0.1) × 10(-2) and (4.6 ± 0.3) × 10(-2) for isoprene oxide and α-pinene oxide, respectively, for 90 wt % H(2)SO(4) and at room temperature. Experiments using attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) reveal that diols are the major products in ammonium bisulfate and dilute H(2)SO(4) (<25 wt %) solutions for both epoxides. In concentrated H(2)SO(4) (>65 wt %), acetals are formed from isoprene oxide, whereas organosulfates are produced from α-pinene oxide. The reaction of the epoxides with ammonium sulfate is slow and no products are observed. The epoxide reactions using bulk samples and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy reveal the presence of diols as the major products for isoprene oxide, accompanied by aldehyde formation. For α-pinene oxide, organosulfate formation is observed with a yield increasing with the acidity. Large yields of organosulfates in all NMR experiments with α-pinene oxide are attributed to the kinetic isotope effect (KIE) from the use of deuterated sulfuric acid and water. Our results suggest that acid-catalyzed hydrolysis of epoxides results in the formation of a wide range of products, and some of the products have low volatility and contribute to SOA growth under ambient conditions prevailing in the urban atmosphere.  相似文献

A rigid-ion model is used to calculate the force constants and effective dynamical charges of sulphide and selenide spinels. The Raman and infrared phonon modes of normal cubic sulphide spinels MCr2Se4 (M = Mn, Co, Fe, Hg, Zn, and Cd) and selenide spinels MCr2Se4 (M = Hg, Zn, and Cd) are calculated at the first Brillouin zone-centre using above model. The significant outcome of the present work is (i) the interatomic interaction between Cr-S (Se) dominates over the Cr-S(Se) and S-S(Se-Se) type of interatomic interactions, (ii) the effective dynamical charges of the bivalent metal ions are nearly zero, and (iii) the selenide spinels are less ionic than the sulphide spinels and the ionicity decreases as MnCr2S4 > FeCr2S4 > CoCr2S4 > and CdCr2C4 > ZnCr2C4 > HgCr2C4 (C = S and Se). The zone-center phonon frequencies, calculated using these parameters, are found to be in very good agreement with the observed results.  相似文献

The flow boiling heat transfer coefficients of R-134a/R-290/R-600a (91%:4.068%:4.932% by mass) refrigerant mixture are experimentally arrived in two tubes of diameter 9.52 and 12.7 mm. The tests are conducted to target the varied heat flux condition and stratified flow pattern found in evaporators of refrigerators and deep freezers. The varied heat flux condition is imposed on the refrigerant using a coaxial counter-current heat exchanger test section. The experiments are performed for mass flow rates of the refrigerant mixture between 3 and 5 g s−1 and entry temperature between −8.59 and 5.33°C which are bubble temperatures corresponding to a pressure of 3.2 and 5 bar. The influences of heat flux, mass flow rate, pressure, flow pattern, tube diameter on the heat transfer coefficient are discussed. The profound effects of nucleate boiling prevailing even at higher vapor qualities in evaporators are highlighted. The heat transfer coefficient of the refrigerant mixture is also compared with that of R-134a.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structures of the alkaloid Royline {(1α,6β,14α, 16β)-20-ethyl-4-hydroxymethyl)-1,6,14,16-tetramethoxyaconitane-7,8-diol} with a water molecule has been determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The compound crystallizes in the space group P21 with the unit cell parameters a = 10.985(1) Å, b = 7.898(1) Å, c = 14.956(1) Å, β = 102.96(1)°, V = 1264.52 Å3, Z = 2, λMoK α = 0.71073 Å, and R = 0.033 for 2067 observed reflections. Rings A, B, and C adopt a chair conformation, ring D is a half-boat, ring E is a half-chair, and ring F is in an envelope conformation with C(14) at the flap. A method is described for the determination of non-volatile N-nitrosamines in baby bottle rubber nipples and pacifiers. It consists of extraction of the sample with dichloromethane in the presence of ascorbyl palmitate (an inhibitor of artifactual formation of nitrosamines), clean-up on silica or basic alumina, and final analysis by high-performance liquid chromatography-thermal energy analysis, a technique which is highly specific for N-nitroso compounds. The method worked well for the determination of four rubber-related non-volatile nitrosamines, namely, N-nitrosomethylphenylamine, N-nitrosoethylphenylamine, N-nitrosodicyclohexylamine, and N-nitrosodibenzylamine (recoveries from spiked samples greater than 80%; detection limit, ca. 5 micrograms/kg for each). Eighteen out of twenty four samples analyzed were found to contain varying levels (mean, 41 micrograms/kg; range, 8-146 micrograms/kg) of N-nitrosodibenzylamine. The identity of the compound was confirmed by gas chromatography-thermal energy analysis as well as by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analyses.  相似文献

Sonic stop-bands for cubic arrays of rigid inclusions in air   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Extensive band structures have been computed for cubic arrays of rigid spheres and cubes in air. Complete stop bands are obtained for the face-centered-cubic (fcc) structure; however, there is no gap for the body-centered-cubic (bcc) and simple-cubic (sc) structures. These gaps start opening up for a filling fraction of (27%) for spherical (cubic) inclusions and tend to increase with the filling fraction, exhibiting a maximum at the close-packing. We also propose a tandem structure that allows the achievement of an ultrawideband filter for environmental or industrial noise in the desired frequency range. This work is motivated by the recent experimental measurement of sound attenuation on the sculpture, by Eusebio Sempere, exhibited at the Juan March Foundation in Madrid (Nature 378, 241 (1995)) and complements the corresponding theoretical work (Appl.
