Analyses of 41 elements reveal that Holocene sediments In the Changjiang Estuary bear regular elemental compositions in different sedimentary environments, and Holocene sediments came mainly from the Changjiang River based on compositions of REEs and most trace elements. Some heavy metals are more enriched in the surface sediment than in the deltaic sediments, reflecting human impact. Elemental compositions of the river channel sediment are related to the influence of proximal sediments. Sedimentary environments exert some influences on elemental compositions. Some chemical indices can be used to record chemical weathering undergone by the Changjiang sediment and environmental change. 相似文献

The study of terranes has already become an important subject in research of the Circum-Pacific continental margin. This paper discusses proper understanding of the terrane conception and identifies existence of the Nadanhada terrane according to its difference from the neighbouring massifs in terms of evolutionary history, tectonic background, and deformation features, and to the fault-contact relation between them; analyzes the paleogeographic position variation of the Nadanhada terrane during the Triassic to late Jurassic and the period when the terrane was attached to the ancient continental marging; finally discusses the consequential effects of theterrane accretion from the observed tectonic events after terrane collage. 相似文献

This paper analyzed thiophenic compounds in Sunniland oils and source rock extractsfrom the South Florida Basin, USA using GC-MS, and compared them with those of oilsfrom shales. We found that oils derived from carbonates versus shales have different distribu-tions of thiophenic compounds. Used in conjunction with such other geochemical parametersas n--alkane, sterane and terpane compositions, thiophenic compounds will be a useful toolfor oil--oil and oil--source correlations. 相似文献

A series of novel tetracyclic triterpanes based on the lanostane skeleton, ranging in cars-bon number from C_(30) to C_(32), were identified for the first time in Eocene lacustrine depo-its of Biyang Depression, China. These compounds have been identified by GC, GC- MS, andcoinjection with authentic standard, as 8β(H), 9α(H)- lanostane (C_(30)), 24-methyl- lanostane(C_(31)) and 24- ethyl- lanostane (C_(32)). Mechanisms are proposed for the origin and geologicalfate of these compounds. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first confirmed occur-rence of lanostanes in the sedimentary record. 相似文献
