For use in micro-patterned scaffolds in tissue engineering, novel diacrylated triblock macromers (PLA-b-PCL-b-PLA, PGA-b-PCL-b-PGA and PCL-b-PEO-b-PCL) were synthesized and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). All diacrylated polymers were designed as triblock copolymers and involved biodegradable blocks of relatively non-polar epsilon-caprolactone (CL) and polar monomers such as glycolide (GA), lactide (LA) or ethylene oxide (EO). All triblock polymers were prepared in molecular weights of a few kilo daltons via the anionic ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of the corresponding lactide, glycolide or caprolactone using stannous octoate [Sn(Oct)(2)] as catalyst. The polymers had low polydispersity indices, ranging from 1.23 to 1.56. Biodegradable polymeric networks were prepared with conversions of 72-84% via photopolymerization of the triblock diacrylated polymers with 2,2-dimethoxy-2-phenylacetophenone (DMPA) as photoinitiator. PLA-b-PCL-b-PLA copolymers crumbled easily and were not suitable for micro-patterning. PGA-b-PCL-b-PGA copolymers had higher water contact angles than PCL-b-PEO-b-PCL and were also cytocompatible with Fibroblasts 3T3. 相似文献

Polynuclear mixed‐valent nickel oxide and nickel hexacyanoferrate hybrid film was prepared on glassy carbon electrode by multiple scan cyclic voltammetry. The film growth was monitored using electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM). The cyclic voltammogram of the nickel hexacyanoferrate film is characterized by single redox couple whereas nickel oxide/nickel hexacyanoferrate hybrid film exhibits two redox couples. Cyclic voltammetric features suggest that the charge transfer process in both films resembles that of surface‐confined redox species. In stronger basic solution (pH ≥9), nickel hexacyanoferrate film was gradually converted into nickel oxide film during potentiodynamic cycling. The peak potential of nickel oxide redox couple moved into more negative side with increasing pH of contacting solution whereas the peak potential of nickel hexacyanoferrate redox couple remains the same. Electrocatalytic behavior of hybrid film coated electrodes toward ascorbic acid, hydrazine and hydroxylamine was investigated using cyclic voltammetry technique. Analytical application of nickel oxide/nickel hexacyanoferrate hybrid film electrode was tested in amperometry and flow injection analysis. 相似文献

A first-principle method has been successfully developed for the prediction of pKa values of aromatic heterocyclic compounds in DMSO solution with a precision of 1.1 pKa units. Comparison of theoretical results and experimental data (where available) also shows excellent consistency. Armed with this useful approach, the pKa values for a series of aromatic heterocycles were calculated in DMSO. Moreover, a discussion of the relationships between hydrogen acidities and molecular structures is conducted for the first time (determinants of C-H acidities, substituent effects, and some practical use of dehydrometalation). These statistics could be useful for synthetic chemists to design proper routes for introduction of aromatic heterocyclic moiety, especially when dehydrometalation reactions are used. 相似文献

One-dimensional (1D) magnetic nanomaterials have attracted much attention recently because of their applications in magnetic recording and spintronics. Nevertheless, it remains a challenge to prepare free-standing magnetic nanowires in high yield. This Communication reports the successful high-yield synthesis of an interesting 1D ferromagnetic CoPt alloy by direct decomposition of platinum acetylacetonate and cobalt carbonyl compound in ethylenediamine solvent through a solvothermal reaction. The CoPt alloy nanowires obtained have a tunable diameter of 10-50 nm and a length along the longitudinal axis of up to several microns, depending on crystallization temperature and reaction time. A unique formation mechanism involving coarsening and ripening under solvothermal conditions was discovered. This research opens new opportunities in synthesizing nanomaterials through low-temperature solvothermal processes. 相似文献

Melt intercalation has been found to be a very successful approach for preparation of polymer-clay nanocomposites. An aspect of this area that has been little investigated is the amount of polymer required to fill the interlayer galleries of the clay. This paper reports experiments which determine the amount of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) required to saturate the spacing between montmorillonite (MMT) or organically-modified bentonite (B34) layers. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) were used to determine the saturation ratios of PEO to silicates, which are then compared to theoretical calculations. The deduced saturation ratio of PEO to MMT is 28:72, and PEO to B34 15:85 by XRD and DSC, whilst ratios of PEO to MMT of 21:79 and PEO to B34 10:90 were obtained via TGA. The density of intercalated PEO in the silicate galleries is estimated to be 0.82 g/cm3, which suggests that PEO in the silicate galleries is far less efficiently packed than in the amorphous region of the bulk polymer. 相似文献

Fluoxetine (Prozac) is currently one of the widely prescribed selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) for the treatment of depression. A high-throughput sample preparation procedure using liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) in a 96-well plate format in conjunction with liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) was developed and validated for quantification of fluoxetine enantiomers in human plasma. After addition of internal standard and ammonium hydroxide, samples were extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic extract was evaporated to dryness and reconstituted in methanol. Where possible, sample transfer and LLE steps were automated using a Tomtec Quadra 96 workstation. Adequate separation of fluoxetine enantiomeric pairs (resolution of 1.17) was achieved on a vancomycin column eluted with methanol containing 0.075% (by weight) ammonium trifluoroacetate. A triple quadrupole mass spectrometer, operated in the multiple reaction monitoring mode at m/z 310-->44 for fluoxetine enantiomeric pairs and m/z 287-->241 for oxazepam (internal standard), was used. Analysis was performed in the positive ion mode using atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI). The standard curve range was 2.0-1000 ng/mL for each fluoxetine enantiomer. The intra- and inter-day precision and accuracy of the quality control (QC) samples were <12.5% (CV) and <13.6% (CV), respectively, for each fluoxetine enantiomer; the correlation coefficient was >0.990. Method ruggedness was demonstrated by the reproducible performance of the assay during a three-day validation period. 相似文献
