Generating high surface area mesoporous transition metal boride is interesting because the incorporation of boron atoms generates lattice distortions that lead to the formation of amorphous metal boride with unique properties in catalysis. Here we report the first synthesis of mesoporous cobalt boron amorphous alloy colloidal particles using a soft template-directed assembly approach. Dual reducing agents are used to precisely control the chemical reduction process of mesoporous cobalt boron nanospheres. The Earth-abundance of cobalt boride combined with the high surface area and mesoporous nanoarchitecture enables solar-energy efficient photothermal conversion of CO2 into CO compared to non-porous cobalt boron alloys and commercial cobalt catalysts.Generating high surface area mesoporous transition metal boride is challenging but interesting because incorporation of boron atoms can generate lattice distortion to form amorphous metal boride which has unique properties in catalysis. 相似文献

A new kind of multilayer of didodecyldimethylammonium bromide (DDAB) and 1:12 phosphomolybdic anions (PMo12) was achieved on the surface of a wax-impregnated graphite (WIG) electrode by ion exchange and electrostatic interaction.
The characterization and electrochemical behavior of the multilayer films of DDAB/PMo12 is described in detail. The chemically modified electrode was shown to exhibit an excellent electrocatalytic activity toward
the reduction of BrO3
– anion in 0.5 M H2SO4 and possesses several attractive features, such as simple preparation, fast response, good stability, etc.

For the low-dimensional dynamical system model to study dynamics properties of Navier-Stokes equations, it is very important that the attraction domain of the low-dimensional model is the same as that of Navier-Stokes equations. However, to date, there is no universal approach to ensure this purpose for general problems. Herein, it is found that any low-dimensional model based on spatial bases, such as proper orthogonal decomposition bases, optimal spatial bases, and other classical spatial bases, is not predictable, i.e., the error increases with the time evolution of the flow field. With the theoretical framework for building optimal dynamical systems and the new concept of spatiotemporal-coupling spectrum expansion, the low-dimensional model for compressible Navier-Stokes equations was constructed to approximate the numerical solution to large-eddy simulation equations, and the numerical results and novel time evolution of spatiotemporal-coupling bases were given. The entire field error is typically below 10−2%, and the average error at each grid point is below 10−8%. The spatiotemporal-coupling optimal low-dimensional dynamical systems can ensure that the attraction domain of the low-dimensional model is the same as that of Navier-Stokes equations. Therefore, characteristic dynamics properties of spatiotemporal-coupling optimal low-dimensional dynamical systems are the same as those of real flow. © 2022 Editorial Office of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics. LaSrBO4(B=Cu、Ni、 Co、 Fe、 Mn、 Cr ) was studied with respect to their preparation, characteristics and catalytic oxidation activity by means of XRD, XPS, electric conductivity and activity evaluation. Results showed that the calcination temperature has great influence on the formation of the phases of such samples, and was associated with the radius of B ion. The greater the B ion radius, the higher the calcination temperature required for the formation of the phases. It was also found that the activity and the relative content of adsorptive oxygen and lattice oxygen on the sample surf are, the activation energy of electron conduction and the CO oxidation activity may vary with different B ions, and demonstrate a dual-peak pattern with the increase in the number of 3d electrons of the B ion. 相似文献
